The community is very clean and the staff members are so welcoming and friendly. Every time someone new comes into this community we just can't wait to get our hands on them and show them around. We recently lost our chef so before that the meals were wonderful, but we just hired a new one and have high hopes the meals will get back to where they were. We have a ton of activities I am exhausted by the end of the week. Compared to all the other communities in the area the value for cost is definitely here.

I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. My loved one likes it here. The food is enjoyed by them. The community is small enough for my loved one to make friends quickly.

We chose Studio Royale because of the proximity to my house, I wanted to be close to her. They were also very friendly and had a lot to offer. The rooms are very good size, they are super spacious and feel more like an apartment. The staff are mostly long term so it is the same people that you see all the time and some have been there 10-15 years. That shows that they really like what they do and that is reflected in the care they give to the residents. The only thing that could use some improvement would be the food, it could use more seasonings to give it more taste. It is decorated beautifully right now for the holidays. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

We had a good feeling about it, the people were friendly, everything was clean and we really appreciated how much they engaged with our mom. The activities would of been better if they weren't in and out of lockdown due to covid.

My loved one says that she likes the food. This is a caring community that treats the residents with respect and dignity. My loved one really likes the outings that they do and the bingo and exercise classes that they have. They have her up and going.

Service has been very good. The staff is helpful and friendly. As far as I know Madrona is the best value in Salem. Madrona Hills has been good with transportation to medical appointments as well as shopping.

I chose The Windham because the housing where I would be provided more room, I have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which is very nice. When your first walk in everyone is very friendly and welcoming and act like they want you here. Our new chef is doing really good and trying to make things that everyone wants and likes. They have really been on top of the whole covid situation and making sure residents are safe. I cannot say enough good, it has been an excellent experience.

I would tell others that the community has been a good experience, and would recommend the community to others. Some of the activities that are available are painting, arts and crafts, exercise, happy hours, and more for the residents to choose from. The food is good most of time for my loved one.

We chose Cogir of Manteca because of the good location, they had avialbility, and they worked really closely with us and were very good about helping us get in. I think the room sizes are a little small, but unless you are in a wheelchair I think it is adequate. From what I have heard from my aunt, they could do better with their care. I think it would be great if they had communication and got together with families and staff every other week about how things are going. Overall, I would recommend to others who are looking.

It's a good place to be for the money. The appearance of the community, the residents are very friendly and it is a quiet community all make it a good place to be. The food menu is switched often. They even ask for feedback, and are willing to accommodating dietary restrictions.

Our tour was really good, and it was a very nice place. It was our 2nd choice. The staff was very knowledgeable. I thought it was neat that they had attached assisted living facilities. So if you went in on the retirement side and then needed more care later, they could just move you to the other side of the building. That was a very attractive feature. We found nothing at all wrong with Gresham Manor. We just ended up choosing another place that was a better bang for the buck and had a little bit better food.

The staff all the way through, from top to bottom, is so kind and so caring. They have taken an active interest in my loved one as a person and in her assimilation into the community. From a resident perspective, they've worked really hard to ensure that there are lots of opportunities for my loved one to meet other residents, hampered only by Covid and the lockdown quarantining that has had to take place. And that's due to the governor's restrictions, that's not on Edmonds Landing. In the last few months, activities have picked up. They've offering crafts, bingo, parties, either drink of the week or month, I'm not sure which one it is. The facilities are just spotless. They're very, very clean. The staff that comes in and does the vacuuming / dusting / changing the linens, have done a great job. The food is good. When my loved one first arrived, she thought it was great. But after several months, it's still good overall, it's just not her home cooking. It's been odd to experience moving into assisted living during quarantine. I just think the whole situation has created a complicated dynamic. And we're looking forward to her getting to have the full experience we wanted for her going forward. The only thing that has been challenging is communication. They communicate very well with the residents, but my loved one has some memory issues. So it's been hard for me to understand what's going on at the community because my loved one has not been able to be as effective at communicating with me. And they don't really have a method in place to keep the families in the loop, although they do send out periodic text messages. So when my loved one has an issue, it's been difficult for me to know who to talk to about it and how to follow up with it. I would like to see just a little bit more communication with the families.

They are doing some hallway activities for the residents, and I have a really nice individual apartment separate from the main building. Madrona Hills just fit me perfectly and they allowed me to bring my two dogs with, the only issue would be the parking.

The food is a 2.5 because it is it seasoned and there are too many special diets to adhere to, otherwise I think the food is good.

The community has been great during the pandemic. I would recommend others look at this community for their loved ones. A lot of other communities I have been in had a smell, this one didn't have the same smell.

What stuck out to us about this facility was the location, it is only a mile from us. The apartment was also just the right size and layout for what she needed. I had several friends who had parents who were here as well so it had a good reputation. It is a very nice group of people who work here, they are very accommodating to my mothers needs. I would absolutely recommend them.

The layout and rooms that the Redwood Heights community provides are good and nice. The food that they serve to the residents would be about a four in a half out of five, and we would recommend this community.

I love the activities, I love our activities director, he is the best. We have lots to do. I also appreciate those housekeeping, staff. They are wonderful.

I was extremely nervous about placing my father in a memory care and finding the right fit for him. The Auberge felt right,; from the staff and overall facilities and the focus solely on memory care. Since moving there, my father frequently mentions how much he likes it there. Right now there are not many activities due to the covid19 restrictions but hopefully they can resume trips and family visits in the future. For now, my father is happy and I am so relieved.

I am so pleased with the new management here. There have been some great changes and I am so glad my Dad is at the Georgian! [name removed] and team have made me feel as my Dad is the only resident, her attention to detail, the communication and the true level of care is amazing. The staff's attention to care especially during this time of Covid has been impeccable. I can't even begin to imagine what this feels like for the guests, but even with this all going on my Dad is doing well, he is upbeat and healthy. Thank you so much [name removed] and your team of angel warriors for the care of my father [name removed]. I would highly recommend the Georgian at Lakeside.
