Onboarding was non-existent felt like it was non-existent. Maybe that's because she's independent living so it's more like apartment living. Overall she's enjoying living there and has made friends and put on weight, the food is pretty good.

My experiences with Atrium Village Owings Mills have been pleasant. The facility is clean . The staff are friendly and helpful. My mom loves it here. They just need to improve with the food it is bland, and the delivery of it is slow.

Only comment for others interested: make sure you have a clear understanding of the total monthly cost of living. Some services have a monthly fee after a promotional period expires. Nothing extreme but good to know before planning a monthly budget for cost of living expense. Our mom is very happy at this place and she feels safe there.

Meals and dining - This has been hit or miss. They have gone through numerous cooks with varying degrees of skill, some much better than others. She only visits the dining room maybe 6 times a week. Value for Cost- She has lived there for 1 year. They have a bus, but no bus driver until now. She has had 4 housekeepers and is currently without one for the 1st floor. The elevator has been out of order frequently, making it impossible for her to get to the dining room. We're hoping that the change in ownership will improve things greatly once the remodeling is completed.

What helped us make our decision to pick Studio Royale for our loved one is when we spoke to the staff and the residents living there they told us just how much they liked it. Based on our current experience we would absolutely recommend the Studio Royale community to other families.

My loved one does not like the food, it's super traditional food, such as; lmeat, and mashed pototoes. Sometimes the meals is overcooked. They offer a lot of activities, and one per day. The process of moving in was easy, and the staff was friendly. When you walk down the hall, you get a good feeling. Overall, my loved one is happy there.

Holiday Pinecrest is awesome. Going in, they tell you you're family, and that's exactly how they treat you. My family member gets good care. Just be sure that independent living is suitable for your loved one and what they are able to do for themselves, because any help costs a lot extra. The apartment is awesome. It's just the right size for him, and all the appliances and HVAC work well. I think they could make the toilet seat higher though. They also have lots of activities to keep the residents busy.

Cadence at North Raleigh would be a very good place if you have a loved one who is mobile, and has (at least) pretty good cognition.

My loved one, eats really good, and likes the food. They offer different activities, and my loved one participates in some, such as singing and bingo. They offer exercises also. This is a really good community for dementia patients. It's really a cozy environment. My loved one is more engaged and is talking more.

I toured Holiday Carmel Place, and the tour guide was very funny & crazy. He was very pleasant and we got along well. The lady at the front desk was very nice. We visited while they were having lunch, so we were able to see the residents eating in the dining hall. The building was a lot older, and the menu at the time was below par for what we needed. My brother had a feeding tube at the time and would need quality food when it's removed. My mother-in-law also had diabetic dietary restrictions. The rooms came with a kitchenette, which may have been good for some, but not for my brother. The building was big and my brother uses a walker; they also had limited parking, and my brother has a car. There's another Holiday location that we ended up choosing. Carmel Place was close to my work, but further from my home. There were a lot of negatives; not so much within the community, but more so with us and what we were looking for. There was nothing truly wrong with it, it was just not right for us. We chose another community because what they had to offer wasn't what we needed.

This was our 2nd choice. The location was close to family, and they were willing to find a room for our loved one. The location is across the street from a fire station.

I love Cadence and my mom loves it. The facility is very clean and they clean her room every week too. They provide a ton of activities and really encourage the residents to participate. My mom is a hermit and is actually doing things I never thought that she would do. They have entertainment that comes in weekly and they are all great. The staff are all super nice and polite, you feel welcomed right when you walk in. The only complaint she has had is the food, they are not able to season the food so there is not much flavor to it. My mom has been going to the same hair dresser for 20 years and she was adamant about not having anyone else do her hair. She let the hairdresser here do it and she loved it which was huge. It is worth every penny that we spend, I would highly recommend Cadence at Huntersville to others families.

All of the staff members have been extremely friendly. I do think they could improve on the overall taste of the food that they serve, it could use more seasoning. They have tons of different activities provided for the residents to participate in.

There was a lot of construction going on when we came to tour the facility. When I mentioned my loved ones needs they suggested memory care and that would restrict her a lot so I knew that was not going to work for her. It was a good tour, just not the right fit for us.

we toured Bay Pointe and upon first impression it was absolutely amazing. the staff were very tight knit, we received several follow up calls from the recruiter. although it was an older building, it was still a super nice place. the price was a bit outside of our budget; if we decided to place our loved one here, the director was willing to sit down with us and figure out what they could do to help. it was also a great location for us, we wish we could have went with Bay Pointe. we chose another community because Bay Pointe did not have the right room availability that we were looking for.

This is the best community for independent living and assisted living in the area. The staff have been great to work with. There can be a slow response due to staffing issues in the dining room. The food taste is superior.

We have had no problems with the cleanliness of the community so far, the staff have been great as well as the care that is provided. The meals are good but they are that typical institutional meals, but the dining service is awesome. The activities are good, and the activities director is great. They are always coming up with new, neat, and creative things for the residents to do.

The menu is healthy and I am glad he is getting 3 meals a day. The value for the money is great, people say it is the best in town. The location of the facility is really good. The outside grounds are very nice and well kept and it is in a good neighborhood. I would absolutely recommend Studio Royale to others looking.

It was a comfortable experience. Mom felt like for the cost, is was a good place. It was quiet, comfortable, and diverse. She thought the food was pretty good. There were not a lot of different groups for activities, but it seemed they were open to residents starting their own groups if they wanted to.

Our family had an in person tour the communication was good, it had a nice feel to it but the sales lady was just a chatter box
