I had a wonderful tour at Brookdale Mill Creek as a preview for my mother. The facility was clean, bright, and spacious. I was impressed by the activity spaces. The staff was kind, attentive, and knew every person's name as we passed during the tour. The suites were nice, although some needed updates. I intend to take my mother back this week.

This is in first place, The only problem is available apartments are so far from the main desk and other services needed. I am not sure how we can mediate this problem. We are going to keep a couple of other appointments befor making a decision.

Brookdale Mill Creek has been a wonderful transition to an active and social community for my 79 year old father, a very social retired chemist. He had visited several other assisted living locations, but was discouraged by the nursing home vibe, was unwilling to leave his rented home. After several medical close calls, we found Caryn at A Place For Mom, and after a couple of other visits, were referred to Brookdale. My dad loved the very active fishing club, the rustic apartment like setting, and the very active residents. I and my siblings were very impressed by Dave, one of the managers caring assistance with facilitating my dad's visits and transitions. My Dad loves this place! He likes his first floor patio apartment, his freedom to come and go, the flexible mealtimes, and the close shopping center, cafe's and most importantly, serious bass, trout and steelhead fishing. We appreciate the medication management program and the easy ability to increase assisted living services as my Dad ages. Fortunately, he's acting 10 years younger since he's moved to an active community, rather than his isolation in his own home. We're thrilled

Just spending an hour with them, I felt like we were touring a five star apartment/restaurant. First impression was very positive. Funny as it may seem, I noticed the hand sanitizer stations are located in numerous places. This is good. Discussed programs for emergency procedures and drills with employees and residents, Very nice,and very professional. There is a lot to like - - the courtyards, the apartments and the atmosphere in general. One hour isn't really long enough to give fair judgment, but it is a start

Absolutely perfect for me. I found a one bedroom that I simply loved. My only problem is that I am not ready to move just now. Probably in a year or two. Plan to keep in touch. My target year is 2020.

Nice property, very clean

Loved everything we saw. Employees were happy and the amenities are to die for. I don't like the surroundings as they are too commercial and lots of apartments. I would miss the birds! But if I were in the largest apartment I could handle it. I also like the idea of the continuum of care.

Very nice community. The facility is older but appeared clean and well maintained. Geared more for independent living but did offer a wide range of services at a reasonable price for residents requiring more resources.

We are very pleased with Brookdale Queen Anne so far. The people are wonderful; very nice, and helpful. [Removed] have been super. The food could be a little hotter, but it is good overall. They have a lot of activities, and the community is very clean. Housekeeping comes once a week to tidy up and change the sheets. Overall, I really think my love one is happy here. We are very pleased

I ended up picking this facility for my loved one because of the affordability and also because of the staff members. I really love the staff and they were very helpful in getting him into the facility. It’s overall a good place and it’s well-kept. The facility is always very clean and it never has that bad odor you come to expect. I’ve had a chance to eat here with my loved one and the food is good as well. I would recommend this facility to other families.

Things are going well here for my Mom. She’s happy with the activities that they provide, she enjoys the exercise classes and bingo, and she’s happy with the food. There seems to be a lot of variety and options to choose from and they try to be accommodating with what the residents want to eat. I’m satisfied with the level of care that she’s receiving. They sometimes forget the little things but, overall, they seem to be patient, kind, and sensitive to her requests. My Mom has dementia but is still very sharp, so part of why we moved her in was because the independent and assisted living residents can mingle together. Because of this, she’s been able to make lots of friends. The facility also offers a Catholic service, which was very important for my Mom. I would recommend this place for people that are independent or need little assistance.

This is a very nice as well as a large facility. While my Father was here they offered great food with a lot of options. They had anything that my dad could have wanted. The staff was very friendly and they handled his medical issues and medications very well. He really liked it here and they offered a lot of activities for him to do. Unfortunately, when my dad broke his hip the facility told us that he would not be able to come back because he was too high of a fall risk and he needed more attention than they could offer. I would recommend this facility to other families

Dad was in this community for a couple of months. He enjoyed being here. The staff was really nice and helpful. It stayed clean in here. They had 3 great meals a day. He would get involved with the daily activities. I would recommend this community.

My mom lived here for 7 years and really liked it. The staff was wonderful they loved my mom. She had quite the outgoing personality. It stayed clean in here. The food was 50/50. She loved doing all the daily activities she stayed busy. I would recommend people to this community.

My Mother-in-law lives here, it’s been pretty good so far. They’re doing a good job of caring for her and making sure she’s safe. The staff is very good and they care about her a lot. The food they serve is good. There are 2 different dining rooms, one for the residents that can feed themselves and one for the residents that can’t. What I’ve seen them feed her seems fine, it’s a lot of finger foods. The facility is kept very clean. They offer different activities like movies, Church, crafts, crochet (for those that can participate), and music. The facility also offers to take the able residents out to sight-see. I absolutely recommend them.

Our experience with Redwood Heights has been excellent so far. The staff has been very helpful, understanding, and responsive. They really do care, and seem like very genuine people. My mother seems to really enjoy the food, especially the breakfast. I also appreciate that they keep her room and bathroom very clean. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

I toured at Gresham Manor, and I thought the community was nice overall. It's a little less fancy than some others we looked at, but the staff are very nice. I ultimately was looking for a larger community for my loved one though.
