My wife and I made the right move in moving my father in law in to this community. [name removed] the Marketing Director was very honest, upfront, knowledgeable, and very sweet. She made the admission process so easy and for that we are so grateful. [name removed] the Activity Director has really taken the time with my father in law, and has made sure that he was social and happy. I have also been extremely impressed with how this company has handled the pandemic, all to keep our loved ones and the staff safe. The added precautions that have been put in place, the communication that has been given to the family members, all has not gone unnoticed.

Sunridge has been a great experience for our Mom and her family. We couldn’t ask for better care for her. The Staff members at Sunridge are always willing to help. Some of them go beyond their call of duty. To help out where they are needed. It might not be in their job description, but they are willing to go the extra mile to make Sunridge me number one in a choice for a retirement independent living home.

I called on a Sunday the 2nd which was my mother's 98th birthday. I called the nurses station because my mother didn't answer her phone and I wanted to wish HB. I did NOT want to bother the nurses as they have their hands full already. They were so nice, gracious enough to go to her room, come back and tell me to ring thru and she answered. You have no idea that act of kindness without making me feeling like I had put them out was the best. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism.

I’m looking forward to things opening up again. The staff is so helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the special holiday meals with my mom always good Food and entertainment

I have lived here since 2013 and can't say enough about the staff we have now. They all are great. Especially [names removed].. They go out of their way to see that we are taken care of. [name removed] always has something for us to do. I just sincerely hope they don't leave as long as I am here. I don't plan on moving so guess it will be for the rest of my life.

I appreciate the love and true care and kindness that this community’s team members show my loved one and myself when I come to visit. They are always there to help when needed and make me feel comfortable knowing that my loved one is safe and is receiving the best quality of a home, meals, and everything else! During the pandemic, they have all strived and continue to do so to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents. Hands down an amazing team I appreciate you all!!!

Your whole staff have gone to great lengths too keep our loved ones safe and healthy. Thank you for everything you have done. I was at Park Plaza caring for my dad, when the lockdown started, and saw first hand the quick changes you made, even before most other establishments even thought about their clients safety.

It is a wonderful environment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All our needs are provided for us. It is safe and secure. I lived next door and watched Emerald Pond being built. Love it here.

The Cascadian staff is always very courteous, gracious and helpful whenever I contact them with a question or request concerning my brother, who is a resident. When I’ve occasionally joined him for lunch, the kitchen staff is always friendly and responsive. I hope my brother can continue to afford to live at Cascadian as long as he wants.

I live at The Seville, an Independent Living Community in Orem, Utah. Our beautifully landscaped yard and lovely well maintained building are delightful. The management, staff, and contract caregivers are extremely friendly, caring, and professional. There are a variety of unfurnished floorplans available, including different sized studios, and one and two bedroom apartments; some floorplans even have balconies, or patios. Included with the rent are three meals a day, plus snacks, free use of the laundry rooms, a theater room, a library, a game and exercise room, a dining room, free connection to the cable, access to a four story tall Atrium, where many free activities take place and concerts are performed. To tell the truth, the free WiFi signal in the Atrium isn't always all that great. For an additional fee, internet is available from Xfinity/Comcast and others, in each individual apartment. If your health insurance plan covers it, A Plus Home Health and Hospice Care is onsite during the day. Other care givers also make house calls here. The LDS even have a small congregation, called a Branch that meets here every Sunday; it's members have even been known to transport members of other faiths to their own nearby religious services. Due to COVID-19, many activities have been temporarily curtailed to help residents, their families, and staff remain healthy!

What more can I say: the Seville is MY HOME and I love it! Staff, food, activities, residents. All make for a great experience.

Cascadian Place is an outstanding place to live! It's like being on a perpetual cruise, only I don't get seasick! Love feeling safe, well fed, things to do and fabulous staff! Most of all, friends to talk to. We care about each other! We are family here. No more sitting alone in grief over loss of my husband in a nursing home... but new opportunities to do the Lord's work right here! Thankful to an online Lutheran church, Des Moines WA, I had never physically been to. (And my dear friends here watch with me. Socially distanced and masked of course.) These times are tough and trying, but we at Cascadian are blessed! Our wonderful new Manager [name removed], great associates [name removed], bus service and driver [name removed]. The waitstaff brings us meals and snacks, made by fabulous Chef [name removed], Sous Chefs [names removed] and assistant [name removed]. Our Housekeeping even cleans our rooms and brings us the hallowed TP! We at Cascadian did not have to search the known world for it! Brought right to us! [name removed], what a jewel, always kind, helpful, knowledgeable, gets the job done, helps her coworkers so much, dear [names removed], and our amazing young people, [name removed], [name removed]. Hope I did not omit anyone. There are great helpers available if needed personally, [names removed]. I want to sing their praises all! I look forward to gathering again and field trips when allowed by Governor (and Covid-19 conquered!) but meanwhile, we here are enjoying our lovely place! I even began Ancestry.com! Taking time to write again as well. God has blessed us, one and all! Thank you Cascadian Place!

We had a new general manager come on board right around the time the coronavirus hit. In my opinion, he has done a masterful job of navigating the hazards that define our time right now. As we have seesawed back and forth between pandemic level responses, our management staff has consistently communicated with community members in a clear and timely manner regarding our community COVID status. Managerial tasks are steadily accomplished, even with the uncertainties of life right now. "Service with a Smile" isn't just a phrase around here. It is reality. Thanks to [names removed] and our wonderful servers and housekeepers who have made "Sheltering in Place" a great option. Hats off to Holiday's corporate writer and editor of the "Daily Mail". I look forward to it each day, and am encouraged as the talents and experiences of members from other Holiday communities are shared. The "Daily Mail" is always entertaining. Thank you for a bright spot in our days!

Two servers, [names removed] are the best! They are always smiling, friendly to all and willing to go the extra mile to help a resident. They never make you wait or forget what you have asked of them. As far as the activities, the game rules or guidelines change frequently to the point that it’s not fun anymore! The quality of the food has gone downhill this past year especially when the chef is gone and leaves the kitchen in the hands of his assistants. We never know what to expect from them. The food is thrown out before the last residents have been served. Sometimes there is no food left to serve the residents that live at the end of the serving line. That has happened frequently. The residents pay a lot of money to live there and should never have to worry whether they will eat or not.
