My aunt doesn't always like the food. And I'm not sure about the activities because she hasn't started really participating. But the staff is super friendly, and I believe, attentive. I know that she is safe and taken care of.

I do not understand why this facility has the reviews on here that it does... The experience for my family has been nothing but absolutely wonderful. The entire staff from [name removed] to [name removed] to [name removed] to [name removed] to [name removed] to [name removed] to [name removed] to everyone else we met; they have been incredibly patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind through this tough transition. Truthfully, they have gone above and beyond to help us get my grandparents settled and adjusted. In addition, the facility is clean, the residents are so sweet and welcoming, and the overall ambiance is very home-like and warm. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a home for their loved one(s). You won't be disappointed.

I visited Lake Shore Commons in Wilmington NC unannounced. I was advised by my doctor that walking in unannounced is the best way to see what facilities are really like. I was greeted by the Sales lady with a smile and offered a cup of coffee. We talked and then walked around. I was very impressed. I even noted popcorn was being bagged for the residents. I have my information to share with my siblings. We will definitely be back to Lake Shore Commons. Thank you for a very nice visit!

My mom, [name removed] make her home Ocean Ridge for a number of years prior to her death. Ocean Ridge far surpassed any of our family expectations. The management and all caregivers were a second family to her. The kindness, patience and love shown by everyone was such a gift! We looked at many facilities and NONE had the nurturing qualities of Ocean Ridge. Mind stimulation activities, exercise and socializing are an integral part of what they provide daily. There are not enough words or space to describe how much we love and appreciate them. The director is amazing and set the highest standards making the very best!
