Especially under the current circumstances, they are doing the best that can at this point. Most of the caregivers are dedicated to the care of the residents. The food was excellent before COVID but now is not as good. We chose this community because they were able to accommodate both of my parents so they could stay together but still meet their different care needs.

Considering their age, they don't offer enough activities to keep her occupied. She would like more of a variety of activities. They do offer exercise every morning, which she really enjoys. She enjoyed being able to to church, but they can't right now during COVID. The apartments are very nice, the common is nice, and awesome dining area that looks like a restaurant. They have the bistro that offers coffee, fruit water, croissants, and snacks. The bistro opens up to a big covered patio. The have a nice TV and activity room as well. The do awesome on her medications and their is a close by pharmacy. Her PCP comes to the community as well.

The staff takes care very personal interest in the residents. They are a great support to both families and the residents. I chose this community because they has an immediate availability, it was very clean, and the staff were clearly knowledgeable. They offer activities in the memory care that are appropriate for the residents. The food is good and they offer some variety.

They have lots of things to do at Valley View. It is a great place. Communication is wonderful. Everything they promised me they have delivered. They call me all the time with updates. I feel very comfortable with my mom being there even now when I can’t go see her.

The staff at Cambridge Village has been amazing! The meals are delicious...no one leaves hungry! Repairs are made in a timely manner. Everyone is so helpful, too. We love it here!!!

Beautiful facility. Not established enough to rate activity and engagement level

Our parents lived in a big house out in the country, and had been using home caregivers for 12-hour daytime care. Their declining health and their isolation, prompted us to seek out a different, better care situation for them, where they could continue to be together. We visited 5 assisted living communities that also had memory care units, and Ledgestone Assisted Living Community definitely surpassed them all!!! We were wowed when we first walked in the door by their beautiful open dining room, common living areas, and fully stocked bistro. We were further impressed when touring their spacious one bedroom apartments (perfect for our parents), their activity room and hair salon. We loved the calendar full of fun, varied activities, and learning about the availability of an in-house nurse practitioner and lab. We brought our mom to lunch and a tour. Although she said it was all very nice, she and our dad did NOT want to leave their home. However, with the amazing assistance of [name removed], the Community Relationships Director, in a week’s time we had our parents moved in with their own familiar furniture surrounding them. After just two days of the delicious meals, and the lovely, conscientious caregivers and med techs, both our parents told us they loved their apartment and would be just fine there. My sister and I left that evening with happy tears and a huge sense of relief, knowing our parents were happy and well cared for. We are so grateful to the genuinely caring,competent staff at Ledgestone for helping them create a new home and a loving extended family.

This place is wonderful! The staff really care about their residents and when we can talk my mother in law into moving, this is the place.

The chef we met shortly before my mother moved in left before she arrived. The food was terrible but they have a whole new staff in the kitchen and everyone is wonderful. The food is outstanding and the food presentation is beautiful. They served a buffet on Sunday and it was wonderful! There has been a huge turnover of staff but I don't know why. Maybe this happens in a new place as things settle down and people either don't like the job or find something better. The place is beautiful and there have been some issues with flooding - but it is not the fault of the complex. Workers rags from construction were found clogging one of the pipes. Pipes break, elevators quit working (but there is more than one elevator in the building). Landscaping could be improved as many plantings have died over the hot summer. The residents are very friendly and everyone is making an effort and getting to know their new neighbors. All said and done - it is a very nice place to live.

This place has been a God sent to me and my family. I've had multiple family members live there and they couldn't have had a better life.

This community is amazing, The staff are caring and engaging. We toured for mom and will hopefully moving her in soon.

The staff and community are amazing! Everything is clean and the residents look happy. When my mom is ready, that will be where she goes.i think all new communities start out with growing pains.

Valley view staff were so supportive to my family when my grandmother was passing away there and had Alzheimer's. No matter what she asked for they would go out of their way to make her happy in her last days. I would highly recommend this facility if they could no longer take care of a family member at home anymore. They are very compassionate to their patients and show great empathy and understanding with what the family is going through. I would like to thank them for the great care they gave my grandmother in her last week's here on earth

Community is only about 11 months old, very nice dinning room, theater,clean,well staffed and very friendly. [Name removed] has been so helpful with all our needs for my mom.

Great place. Short on help

my Mom’s experience at Ledgestone has been very positive! She lives in a 2 bed apartment with a dog yard. The convenience of a yard is so worth the small extra fee. She enjoys sitting out with her dog. Ledgestone ,as a whole, treats “Dumpling “ as a family member. I don’t know all the staff, but [names removed] are always helpful and friendly to Mom and her family, too. This is an independent living property, but they offer many amenities that you would find in assisted living.

The residents and staff were friendly. The facility is tucked behind a hotel which offers discounts to out-of-town visitors for residents of the home. Beautiful courtyard located in the middle of the building offering nice view from surrounding apartments for residents. Plenty of activities and interaction with surroundings community. Pre-school next door visits frequently often performing or residents can read to children. Dining is formal (3 meals daily) with snack bar in lobby.
