The staff is very personable - my mom really loves it there and adjusted much quicker than expected. The room size is very comfortable. The food is iffy - some days she loves it, some days she won't eat it. Overall, we are happy with the decision.

My father is disappointed in the food (especially compared to [community removed]). But the 4 individual cottages seem to provide a "homey" feeling and the staff has been very attentive.

The 4 is because no one is perfect. However, I will say when I saw a problem it was taken care of very quickly. The staff was excellent.

The staff is wonderful, they are extremely kind, caring and friendly. They make you feel very comfortable there as far as family visitors, but they treat the residence extremely warm. There is a lot of interactions so residents don't feel lonely. The activities are wonderful, there are trips near, and far that residents can join in and attend. The only thing that I found that's downfall is the communication between staff, specifically regarding patient's medication's and appointments and medical needs. Makes me feel like they're still working out a few kinks and they seem new to this type of environment. Otherwise no complaints. The property is absolutely gorgeous. It gives you the feel of being in a high end, upscale New York City hotel with a Homie loving environment. It's extremely clean and well kept. And there are outdoor areas for residence and families to visit. It also includes a hairdresser/barbershop, and physical therapy workout area.

The staff are great with the emotional, social care of the patients. My mother loves the food and everyone there. We have had issues with maintaining her care. Communication between the staff isn't always great but everyone seems to try. They can't use gait belts so we are working on training staff to safely assist her because of her meds she bruises easily and severely. It has been trying at times.

My brother was only there a for a few months. It seemed OK, no complaints. I would recommend it to others who are looking for a place for their loved one.

The atmosphere was very welcoming. No matter what time I visited the staff was very friendly Mom enjoyed her stay teared up when it was time to leave. She said they were very good to her. Looking forward to future stays.

The staff have been very nice. Menus have been carb heavy and are apparently set by someone other than the local folks, but things are usually tasty. Often need seasoning, though. There are plenty of activities but I'm very choosy.

They have good food, and good staff. Management communication needs some work. I would recommend them to others who are currently searching for a place for their loved one.

I would rate all of those a 4 with the exception of the administrative staff who I would give a 5. I liked the openness and light of the facility. It seemed livable.

For over a year my family and I searched for a program that would best suit our mom. I did virtual tours, made multiple phone calls, and narrowed my search down to 2 facilities. My family decided to go with Charlotte Senior Living for several reasons. When I first took the in person tour the atmosphere was warm and calming. The staff and clients smiled and said hello as we passed. It gave a feeling that my mom would be comfortable here.

My mother helped choose The Cottages. She liked it because it felt like a little community rather than other facilities that were tall impersonal buildings. We were mostly happy with her care the short time she was there.

The facility is very nice and clean. Staff is nice and seems dedicated to helping and safety. The ratio of staff to clients is a concern especially at night and weekends. But I think the ratio is the same everywhere. I wish there is a way to use technology to remain connected like the use of amazon show to remotely speak with family members. Charter was a clean and caring environment. There was an unfortunate incident when my uncle was hit in the face by another aggressive client. I think charter responded appropriately by putting the aggressive client under 24/7 one on one care. I think it happened because of the ratio of staff to clients and the unpredictable nature of this horrible disease. I was able to bring him home under hospice. I was his caregiver along with hired caregivers during part of the day. This is when I noticed that he was very well taken care of at charter. He did not have any bed sores even though he was in bed a majority of the time.

I would rate Charter of Orange a 4 because there were a few challenges at first but Mom has since adjusted and is very well cared for. Everyone is very nice, attentive and professional.

For the most part they were great but some of the care staff were rude and not kind to the residents. I would recommend it.

Facility is great. Multiple things for a senior to do. Staff is mostly okay. My parent's dementia was aggressive and as was she and they really struggled with that. I had to appear more than once to assist them. They'd even send her out to receive treatment at hospitals as they weren't really equipped to assist. I enjoyed the place. For any senior who was normal or just early stage dementia they are all equipped. 5/5. It's just our situation was tougher

They need more residents, especially men so the activities and social interactions can be better. Yes, we would definitely recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far .

Charter Senior living was very helpful. They made me feel very comfortable with taking care of my granddaddy in his last days. The facility was always clean, smelled good and the staff was always professional.

The community is great. Very welcoming, kind, and helpful. Dining is also great, with a cute little eating area. Staff are helpful and have daily meetings to go over the needs of staff. There's a ton of activities with a salon on site. They were extremely helpful and accommodating with the transfer process from out of state. They stated on top of communication and helped reach out to the previous center. We're still new so we're working through some growing pains of staff washing clothes without shrinking them and getting a doctor in a bit more quickly.
