Excellent staff, kind and welcoming residents. My dad is so happy at Wellpoint.

The dining room servers are excellent. Extra activities for residents are plentiful, such as movies twice a week, exercise, gym, salt water indoor heated pool, art classes, card playing and lectures.

I have had two family members living at Charter. The staff is wonderful. The director [name removed] is very experienced and extremely caring and helpful. The nursing director Star is also professional, compassionate, and has been invaluable in some very stressful times. The recent facility upgrades are attractive and functional. I would highly recommend Charter Senior Living.

Before visiting Charter, I thought it was terrible to send a loved one to any assisted living place. Visit a few. People are drugged up, sitting stationary for hours, waiting to die. Then I visited Charter. They had a guy playing live music, engaging an audience of residents. They residents were actively engaged, smiling, tapping to the music, singing, etc. After a few spontaneous visits (to be sure the first wasn't a fluke), my family realized that sending our loved-one to charter might actually breathe new life into her. The staff warned us that there might be a rough transition period. They weren't wrong. But the staff rallied around us those first few weeks, sharing photos and videos of her dancing, smiling, and positively glowing. We got countless texts, emails, and conversations with staff, giving advice on how to handle our visits to make them a positive experience for our loved-one. I'll be forever in the debt of [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and others.

We have been very pleased with the caregivers, nursing staff, housekeepers, and all who attend my parents (advanced assisted living) every day. On-site therapy is wonderful also! I do wish there was a dedicated activity room for residents. Facility is convenient to hospital and Dr/ specialist offices. Facility wheelchair transportation is good, but only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It's a challenge to schedule appointments only on those days. But so far it has worked.

5 for everything.. Everything is wonderful at Charter. My dad appears to be very happy there and we appreciate all that they do to make him feel welcome and at home.

While my parent made the decision to stay at home, the outreach was fantastic and we appreciated the guidance from staff as we navigated long term care. Our outreach partners checked in every few months, listened to me cry, and answered all of my questions.

Very attentive and responsive staff and excellent onsite therapy facility. So far I have not encountered any serious concerns and all questions I have had answered in a timely manner. I would recommend them.

The staff was very attentive to our mother's needs. Food was superior, daily activities, trips to local attractions , you could just tell they were concerned about all the residents especially at meal time

Moved our Mother into Independent living apartment and she’s already loving it! So much to do and the chef makes amazing meals. The move was very easy and the staff are very welcoming. Beautiful grounds with pickle ball, walking trails and garden areas with ponds. The wellness center has chair yoga and other activities.

I have never seen a facility that worked so well together. I would recommend the facility.

Charter Living is a hidden gem. The staff makes the place seem like home. [name removed] the memory care coordinator, arranges high energy activities to keep the residents engaged and her laughter is contiguous! The facilities are well maintained and the food is good. All in all, Charter has been great for my mom and my family.

They always seem to care about each resident like they were family. My mom loves it. I tell them there all the time how wonderful they are. My mom's happy that's all that matters to me.

All of the employees went out of their way to be friendly. Several went above and beyond any of our expectations...my dad was loved and respected. They always treated all residents with dignity and respect. It is a loving environment.

[name removed] put aside the sales hat and took care of a senior in need, first and foremost. Prior to our signing on, she even took him McDonald’s one evening when he was supposed to show up for a “trial dinner” and failed to arrive. Maintenance was super quick to install his new TV and wall mount as well. They have made my Dad feel welcome and after years of decline, he’s now eating regularly, taking his medications and getting involved in social activities! All of this…just in his first week! I can’t thank Charter Senior Living at Gateway Park and their staff enough.

It's an excellent facility. Staff very professional and caring. Seems there is some sort of activity for everyone each week. Food is tasty and healthy and well prepared. Facility is always very clean. I feel very comfortable with my wife being there. I know she is being well cared for.

We would highly recommend Charter to others. Very important to us is the fact that the employees are kind to our dad and are quite competent. We are so glad that our dad is at Charter. We feel the staff at Charter are exceptional.
