Charter Senior Living

What we like the most about the community is the friendly and attentive staff. Dad loves it here, he doesn't ask to go back to his old home. When I decided on Charter Senior Living in Paris, it was because residents were moving around on their own and socializing. They seemed happy.

All would be a 5 now. They recently made significant changes to their nursing staff which is a huge plus. It has been a great experience for my mom so far. All are polite, friendly and always looking to assist. [name removed]at the front desk is the sweetest person alive.

[name removed], my mom's primary caretaker, is amazing. My mom's room is beautiful, with a lot of sunlight. [name removed], my mom's nurse from Traditions Hospice is also great. I would recommend it to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

The room is spacious and the staff is very accommodating. I love that there are daily activities and opportunities for hair care. They are continually in contact with me which reassures me when I'm not there. I also love that I can stop by to visit at any time without communicating first.

The place is beautifully decorated and that makes my mom feel special. They had a new "fall recognition system" put in to all of the apartments and we really liked that.

My mother has lived at Charter for a year. All of the staff, including the administration, front desk, dining room, caregivers, cleaning and maintenance are incredibly kind and helpful. My mother enjoys the food and many activities. The common areas of the building were updated recently with new carpeting, furniture, and renovation throughout. It is a comfort to know she is safe and cared for there. I highly recommend Charter.

The team at walking horse has been supportive and responsive to my mother's needs in memory care. I would recommend them.

Very attentive staff. The recreational and social activities are varied and quite inclusive. My 94yr old mother is enjoying her stay. Mom's apartment was a renovated unit, and easy to keep up.

We picked this community, because of their reviews, cleanliness, residents seemed quite happy. As I have said before, my Dad was only there for 5 days before he passed so I do not have a long term impression of Charter.

I visit multiple times a month. Every songle person I have dealt with, talked with or gained assistance from have been phenomenal. My mom has had zero negative experiences to date. It is clean and the caregivers are excellent. Patient attentive and kind with all residents. Not to mention fresh popcorn every day!

I would rate them all 5. Not sure on "value for the money". It's still very expensive although much cheaper than the prior facility, slat Paul's in Belleville. I haven't shopped pricing lately.

The facility is beautiful, well maintained and welcoming. The staff is extraordinary in caring for the residents, providing numerous outlets for learning and for fun.

The experience was great. But the paperwork to finalize the move is not for the faint of heart. The staff is great. Very caring. My only complaint is that the facility doesn't provide transportation in the evening.

Overall a very pleasant visit. Everything was neat and clean. From administrator to staff everyone was welcoming and friendly. Took time to answer our questions. We were shown different levels of memory care. Assured that [name removed] would be evaluated and placed in appropriate level of memory care. found [name removed] the administrator to be informative and thorough in explaining everything they offered and gave us brochures to take with us to review. Gave us her card so we could call back if we had more questions. I like that residents could see the daily menu in the dining room and if they didn't like what was being served there was an Ala carte menu to order a substitute item to eat. We saw a few Activities going on and some of the crafts made by residents. They gear activities to interests of the residents. Do a profile on each resident to assess their personal preferences and interests. After visiting 5 assisted living places, Charter was my number one choice for my friend [name removed]. The cost and the amenities fit [name removed]better as a very mobile and sociable person that needed memory care at its lowest level. She would feel some independence but feel safe at the same time.

I would highly recommend Charter to anyone. Everyone there has been amazing and so helpful with my brother. They are amazing

Charter is a very clean, nice facility. Nice cafeteria and food options. Nice rooms with French doors and garden view. Treated my Uncle very well. Yes would recommend. Clean, nice facility. Great food services and rooms.

The staff was excellent. Very caring people that really worked with their tenants. Food was good also I ate there a couple times myself with my sister. Wish she still could live there.

Charter is a great place with excellent staff, great food...the head nurse is amazing and the head of activities she's also amazing...the staff has always help me with getting my mom to the doctor and talking her out for outings
