It’s just been a wonderful experience. They just rolled out the red carpet. This is our first rodeo. We’ve never done anything like this before. They kind of held our hands through the whole thing. The care that they’re providing is amazing. Their head nurse is amazing. The director is just incredible. We had a family visit recently. I flew in from out of town, and they didn't give me a hard time about the Covid stuff, just followed protocol. I was there for the weekend and they answered any questions. They were very caring. It could all be a schtick, what a privilege it is to care for our loved one. And I’m sure that’s part of the script. But I believe them when they say it. We’ve had a wonderful experience.

Our loved one has their days, sometimes they absolutely love the food, and other days not so much, but they do say they have a wide variety of options to choose from. The activities and everything is starting to finally open back up. The value is a little high in our opinion, but with the 24/7 care it is not to bad.

We're very happy with Cottages. They've been wonderful. Our loved one had a lot of health issues, and we had to move her very fast. They made it an easy process. She's doing wonderful and is very happy there. The staff are absolutely wonderful. They treat her like she's their own mother. To begin with, we didn't get much communication, but I know they were having some changes in staff and such. But now it's great. We get communication at least once a week, and in addition to that, they have a Zoom once a week you can hop on. We haven't had much of a chance to go inside due to Covid, but looking in through the windows, the resident rooms look nice. They made a little beach-themed room designated for indoor visitation. And then outside there is a beautiful wooded area with a gazebo where you can sit and visit with your family member. Our loved one is not participating in the activities much, but they do send out a brochure each month listing the activities that they offer.

This was my second tour in the selection process, and a virtual tour as well. At this point I was realizing that the communities were actually quite similar, and it was going to come down to small little differences that were a matter of preference. The rooms here were similar to the previous place I toured. The biggest difference was I didn’t like Morningside's dining room as much. It just looked plain. That was it. The people that I talked to were very nice. They covered everything they could in the virtual tour. I couldn’t imagine anything they could have done better in that virtual scenario. You obviously can’t get as much without being there, but they did a good job with the virtual tour.

We have had such a positive experience with this community so far, it is very welcoming, and warm. It does not feel like your walking into an institution. The head manager there who reached out to us when we were first looking is absolutely the man, he was our deciding factor. When it comes to the value they break it down for you, no matter your income, they really work well with all families. The staff do a great job coping with the residents when they are having issues, and they constantly call us with anything regarding our loved one. The food is great, and it is just a very happy and bright place to be.

Fox Hollow facility was clean, the residents I saw seemed happy and well cared for. Their rooms were nicely appointed and larger than I expected. The overall policies were sound and not too restrictive. My guide, [name removed], presented a plan for activities at all levels of care. The cost fell within my budget. I was quite impressed.

Things worked out very well for us at Morningside of Newport news. My husband stayed here for respite care while I was in the hospital. The only issue we had was that I had to pay for 3 weeks and he was actually only here for 5 days and I never got that money back. I would recommend to others who are looking, things went well.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked the facility. The only reason we did not choose it, was another facility we looked at had a better room set up that was on the first floor. However, they gave us a very thorough tour, it was a very nice place.

I am not sure she would need all that assisted living offers. very nice place. Tour was well presented and gave us a better understanding of assisted living.

Excellent visit. Very welcoming. Very thorough. Person we spoke with answered all our questions. An excellent facility based on our visit yesterday.

Can't recommend The Linden enough!! They have been amazing partners in the health care of my mom. Don't know what I would have done without them. Everyone we have come into contact with has been caring, thoughtful and kind.

The Linden at Dedham has and continues to exceed all of my super high standards and expectations from the minute my family and I met with the staff and throughout the entire process. I never imagined that I would ever be in this situation feeling helpless and overwhelmed trying to make all the right decisions and entrusting strangers to care for my beloved father. The staff at Linden has years of experience, knowledge and genuine compassion for both the resident and their family members and the desire for all of us to succeed with all the same goals in mind. Do yourself a favor and save yourself time, stress, making phone calls, googling other facilities, sending emails, getting pricing information, touring five or more facilities trying to find the best of the best and the perfect fit for your loved one..... you will find it all at the Linden @ Dedham

Very pleased with the care my mother is receiving at Landings. It was a very difficult making the decision to move my mother into assisted living. The staff were more then willing to accommodate my moms specific needs and requests.

This is the best community and best care of the residents. The staff was phenomenal. The staff's willingness to make things happen to satisfy the wishes of myself and my wife was outstanding. The communication was exception during the stay here.

We chose The Cottages because of the convenient location. It is 5 smaller building instead of just one large facility, so sometimes your family members do not have any interaction with the other residents. They have been excellent with communication with everything that has been going on. They have had a new chef and he is not as good as the last one that they had. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

Liked it very much. The one-bedroom unit is large enough to hold almost everything in my mother's two-bedroom apartment. Love the movie theater and the on-site physical therapy! They also have a full-time nurse, an anytime menu, bus trips, activities, and much interaction with the residents.

I don't live in town, so I am not able to be there. I've been able to speak to the staff over the phone, and observe to the conversation of the staff with my loved one. The community has been really good at accommodations, to have some extra decorations to make her feel comfortable and orienting her. The community made it feel like my loved one's house. They are good at redirecting and giving medications to my loved one. The food is excellent, and is good enough that visitors want to eat there. The chef worked in a restaurant in the past. The staff are engaged with the residents in the memory care unit, and are thoughtful. I feel it is a good value. It is sometimes hard to get a hold of the staff since I am out of town. They are good at follow up and getting my loved one to their doctor appointments. They have an onsite physician. They've also done a great job at managing medications for my loved one.

We love everything about Bowling Green, they offer great services.

The virtual tour scheduled for [date removed] had to be scheduled to an in-person visit on [date removed]. A very good visit. [name removed] was warm and welcoming and provided lots of useful information about the facilities, services, and activities available at Heartfields. We were able to see several different room layouts and some of the common areas. The layout of the building is nice and seems conducive to residents interacting regularly. The location of Heartfields is nice, surrounded by trees and near I-95 and downtown Fredericksburg and Central Park shopping. This looks like an ideal place for my Dad.

We chose the facility because they were willing to work with me on the rent every month until his VA benefits kicked in and even adjusted their rate. It also provided everything that he needed.They were very communicative with his care and what he needed, so I do believe he was getting great care here. I was able to text them whenever with questions and I was always able to get a hold of somebody, even the director. Even after his passing they still reach out to check in on me. I am really happy that we chose Charter Senior Living and I would highly recommend them.
