York Place seems to really care about the patients. They do take good care of my mother-in-law. The family nights are really nice to get to eat and meet the other people who have family here. I do believe they could do better having a professional meeting when meeting with the family when it's time to have a consultation. Sometimes the place seems a little dirty.

Quiet and cozy. Eating schedule very rigid 8am / 12pm / 5pm.Food was blah and average. Lighting in bathroom not good especially in the shower area , very dark. I would only put my Dad here if there were no other choices.

I think its to big with to many floors for my dad. Nice but not a great fit.

Cedarhurst was the very first tour I have ever taken to a Senior Living facility. I was impressed with the employees who work at Cedarhurst and the care they have for the residents. I was not impressed with the facility itself. The apartments were small and did not feel welcoming. The quality of materials used in the apartment I visited seemed inferior, especially compared to the monthly rent to live there.

My mother-in-law has lived here for about 2-1/2 years. We are moving her to a memory care facility. Early in her residence, there were several outstanding, trustworthy caregivers; most have left TH and their replacements have varied as to capabilities, personalities, and tenure. For a few months, they established separate activities for AL residents and picked up my MIL and others (who wouldn't venture out unless you did so). The facilitator became ill and left several months ago; they have not fully replaced him. My MIL enjoyed the activities and has declined due to the current lack of interaction. They are slowly updating the facility; however, the condition of the beauty salon is abysmal. Written complaints (including photos) about the salon's condition to the director were never acknowledged and no improvements have been made after nearly a year. The director runs a fiscally stable facility, but doesn't seem to value staff. Long-time residents talk of declines in services, amenities, and staff.

No kitchen. Great location and friendly staff very affordable. Dark apt.

I only gave 3 stars because our loved one hasn’t been there long. Care is good and help are friendly and caring. Provide good interaction activities. Facility is clean.

Not enough patient care. Have to ask for everything. Only cleaned once a week. Meal selection is subpar.daily activities not monitored. Family is not kept informed. Bill is higher than quoted.

Poor Communication between family!!! When You do get a hold of them they are on the defense. Always understaffed, the meals are average, there oatmeal is so thick. A lot of change with personal. The facility is beautiful just wish they had nice, caring staff to go with it. The director of nursing fails to get back to family members.

The staff are kind and helpful to my mother. They have different activities for the people there to do which keeps them busy and active.

My loved one lives here currently. It was a bit of a transition at first, but the staff has been very caring with her. They just recently got a new director and a few things have improved, but I think there’s still room for improvement when it comes to their communication. The food is pretty good and she gets 3 meals a day. Lunch is their main meal, so it’s always bigger, and then a small dinner is served. There’s typically a main dish as well as other options to choose from if a resident doesn’t want what’s being served. The overall facility looks nice and clean when you first enter, but I think they could improve with cleaning the rooms. They’re a new facility so I know it takes time to iron things out and get everyone acclimated but, overall, I would recommend them to others.

[Removed] was very helpful and informative both leading up to and during the tour. The facility is fine but seems very average in a "hospitally" like of way. I was not as impressed with the facility''s amenities and support services as I was with my other option. ([Removed]). Monroe Place is kind of dark and though it's one level, it's sprawling like an octopus. I think that would harder for my mom to navigate as well as be tiring for her to get around to all the areas.

I toured Christina Place looking for places for my loved one. I did like the Facility, and thought it was really nice. However, it’s too far away from me, and I was hoping for something close. I wanted to be able to visit often, and this did not suit us.

As soon as I walked in, I knew this wasn’t going to be the place for me. It was awful here. Nothing was handicap accessible. I’m in a scooter and the door frames were too narrow for me to get in and out of my room. I wouldn’t even be able to get to the washer and dryer. The staff was really nice but it was just too old of a building for me. I couldn’t even reach the door knobs; they were halfway up the door. I would recommend this facility if you like arts/crafts and don't need a scooter.

This is nice community, and I had lovely tour of it. The staff was kind, and helpful. My tour guide was informative, and my questions were answered. The community looked very well-kept. Unfortunately the location was not convenient for my families to travel too, but my tour went well.

My loved one seems to be doing ok since moving into this community. They like the food and the daily activities offered. The community is clean and the grounds are nice. The staff have helped me when I have questions or concerns. I would recommend taking a look at this community.

I had a decent tour of this community, but I knew it was not the facility for my love one. I did notice a bad odor lingering around the community. From what I saw I feel the community could use some updating. My tour guide was friendly. The experience was okay, but I did find another community that suited our needs better.

The staff where very kind to my mother and I during our tour of this community. They made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail as well provide lots of great information. My mother was just not a the layout of the building and said it felt to much like a nursing home to her. I also thought they could brighten up the interior with not such dark walls everywhere.

The staff I came across was kind, and friendly. The experience was a nice one. This wasn't the community for us, but my tour went well.

I had a pretty good tour of this community. From what I saw this is a clean community. The staff was kind to my family,and I. It was a good experience, but this community had more of an institutional feel to it. I didn't think this would be the right fit for my uncle, and his needs.
