Cedarhurst worked with us for over a year to get to know our special needs sister to determine if Cedarhurst would be a good fit. They were both compassionate and professional. Cedarhurst proudly supports true community interaction and has a great home-like feel for a good sized facility. It does not have a sterile "luxury hotel" vibe. Staff and management appear to work as a great team.

The place was bright and the people (both residents and staff)were very friendly and welcoming as we walked the hallways. We loved the food options and the flexibility with eating options. The building is close to shopping and other activities if you like to go. We highly recommend Cedarhurst.

The staff is friendly and seem to have the attitude of wanting to serve and be helpful in contrast to being bothered by your needs. I get the sense they realize the residents are in a vulnerable time in their life and need understanding and patience. The facility is clean and seems to be well run. The staff has been courteous to our family even though we've been visiting a lot (and probably underfoot) during our mom's first month here. They put nice effort into having stimulating and interesting activities and encouraging the residents to participate without being overbearing about it. The receptionist set a good tone; for the moment you walk in you feel welcome.
