[name removed] was super helpful and checked in on how things were going. My mom is doing well at Cedarhurst in Springfield, MO. I would recommend them because they have the best staffing, keep you informed of how they are doing, what they are participating in and any changes.

Dad was only there for a short time. He was unable to understand spoken words or talk. However, everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. We had no issues. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are needing to find care for their loved ones.

Dining department is awesome! The food is amazing. I especially love the food preparation for events!! The staff is really kind and helpful. The dining area is very clean and the staff is very professional.

Staff are caring and compassionate! The daily activities keeps my MIL busy and active! This facility made a huge difference in her life and in ours knowing she is cared for! We love the one to one attention she gets and needs!

The activities are limited for men, especially for those with good cognition. My Dad didn't enjoy crafts or flower arranging and was not a particularly spiritual person. He did like listening to some of the musicians that came in. He would have liked going to the movies or a concert or a fishing trip or maybe a book club with choices the men would like. The food was OK. Could have had more fresh fruits and vegetables but I brought them in to him. Lots of rice. The staff was outstanding. They treated my Dad with kindness, patience, and respect. They kept a close eye on him always tried to accommodate his wishes. He came to think of them as family (as did I) and spoke of them as such.

Im sure that the value is good but its very expensive and there is no medicaid availability. Location is Great! Ot would ha e been our top pick if it weren't for the lack of Medicaid beds after private pay runs out. We would have to move mom which is not good

No place is perfect. The positives are the people are nice, willing to work with you and meet your needs, the aesthetics of the facility are very nice and it's a new building, the food offering is a better variety than mom would have made at home

Staff very caring and helpful; activities seemed to be satisfying to residents; food would most likely get a 3 on the 1-5 scale, although I sure there were many that had special needs and diet.

Two things really stand out FIRST is hearing about and seeing that ALL of the staff is very caring and makes efforts to know, get involved with and take care of our mom. This is from the custodian, the maintenance man, the kitchen staff, activity director, nursing staff, and the executive director [name removed]. [name removed leads some of the residents' activities personally, as she told us it's important for her to know the cc residents personally. Everybody is helpful and responsive. SECOND- The activities are many, they are varied, and often are specifically designed with respect to interests of the residents. There are typically 5 activities every day. Except for exercise every morning, the activities are different each day of the week. The activities director knocks on everyone's door 15 minutes beforehand to check in and to encourage each resident to attend. Additionally- Cedar Creek is small enough that it feels like a community. The building is nice, it's clean, and the layout is a rectangular hallway (courtyard in n the center) so that one can never get lost- you'll always get back to your room. Some rooms have windows to grass and 'forest' complete with occasional deer. The dining area speaks with each resident about menu options at the meals. The staff communicates very well (via phone) with family if anything medical or other situations arise. A MAJOR CONSIDERATION for us was that Cedar Creek offers FIVE levels of care. Other places we had started with offered 'assisted living', but it seemed like any 'care' required or anyone with slight cognitive impairment would be put into 'memory care' or 'full nursing care', whether you needed all that care or not (and for a MUCH higher cost).

The director [name removed] is very nice and helpful. Everyone is always willing to do what is needed to make sure my Mother in law gets the care she needs.

5 on everything except there has been a lot of turnover in the administrative staff. It has the feel of home and the staff is very kind and caring. They keep the family well informed.

Faculty staff is very friendly, helpful, and good about making sure that she participates in activities. I would definitely recommend. Very impressed with the amount and variety of activities and how they keep the residents active and engaged. They just finish the remodel and it is very nice. When she started in assisted living, I was attracted to the setup of the facility--I knew she wouldn't get lost. Within a couple months she was moved to the memory care side and I love that they have enclosed courtyard areas for the memory care folks to get outside that are safe. The indoor remodel is beautiful and arranged in such a manner that it doesn't give that 'old folks home' vibe. She has been happy and is well cared for.

We toured many assisted living property before deciding as this one. I felt more like a home or apartments. We have grown to love the resident staff. We are very happy we found Cedar Creek! Most important mom seems happy.

Its fun, friendly, light hearted welcoming and inclusive.

What we like the most about the community is that the staff take time to let you know what is happening with your love one-facility on one level

Facility very nice & clean. Food options very good. Staff friendly & helpful. Actually on the cheaper end of the other places we visited and would consider a better place. Also will allow to file for Medicade if needed which many other places do not offer.

The staff and residents all are helpful kind and willing to share their time and experience. I am making new friends and having fun with a variety of activities the food is also good

The staff is wonderful! Everyone does their best to meet the needs of the residents. It's a wonderful environment

We chose Cedarhurst of Woodstock because of the facility's close proximity to me and very clean facility and responsive staff. They have a really great activities director there. My uncle is very happy there.

On [date removed] a group of 10 people spent a few hours sharing with residents. We told a favorite Bible story, sang songs, gave out a few gifts, and had great fellowship. We were able to visit with residents on both wings. The staff was VERY accommodating and friendly. A special thanks to make [name removed] who helped coordinate the event and utilized her piano and voice talents taking song requests. We look forward to returning in the near future!!!
