Seems to be clean whenever we come. everywhere.. no horrible smells when you first walk in..staff is always friendly!

Staff is very helpful to our Mother and to us. They keep us informed and contact us with any questions they may have about her health or medication.

When our family started looking we knew right away this was no mistake at Cedarhurst of Springfield Il. MY BROTHER AND MY SELF FOUND OUR INSURANCE POLICY FOR MOM TO START PAYING WAS NOT GOING TO BE EASY.ALL WE HAD TO DO WAS ASK THE PERSONNEL IN MANAGEMENT TO HELP US OUT. WE ENDED UP 2 AND A HALF HOURS LATER WITH WHAT WOULD WORK FOR EVERYONE.I KNEW I COULD NOT TAKE MOM OUT OF FACILITY CAUSE SHE WAS SO MUCH AT HOME AND ENJOYED BEING WITH PEOPLE THAT WAS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS IN LIFE. SHE HAS TOLD ME AND MY FAMILY I'M GLAD YOU DID NOT HAVE TO PUT ME IN A HOME.WE ALL FEEL BLESSED AND MOM ENJOYS THE FOOD ALWAYS 2 ND HELPINGS IF YOU ASK.THE STAFF IS ALL SO VERY KIND AND CARE FOR EVERYONE.WE MAY SHARE SOCKS OR SHOES SOMETIMES BUT THAT IS ALL GOOD CAUSE WE ALL SHARE THE GOOD LORD.BLESSINGS FOR LOTS OF ACTIVITES THAT CAN BE ENJOYED BY ALL RESIDENTS.THE CARE IS FANTASTIC THAT IS PROVIDED.GOD WILL LEAD YOU TO WHERE HE WANTS YOU.

The thing I like most about Cedarhurst is how cheerful the staff is, especially Julie Partin. Other places I looked up were called "depressing". Also, they respond to all my concerns and questions.

My aunt loved living there and I loved visiting her! I would recommend Cedarhurst to anybody that needed a caring loving place for a loved one! I only hate my Aunt had to leave for rehabilitation after breaking her hip. She was at a place where she fell 13 times in less than a month and was in hospital numerous times to have her hip put back in place. Cedarhurst is the place to be! Great group of people work there! Never had any issues! Everyone there was awesome!

Going to rate them a 5 in all groups. They are very good with mom. I would tell others to explain to the DON And RN as much information as you can about your family member. It helps them understand them better so they can get the care needed.

Cedarhurst is great! Mom's health has improved immensely since moving in -- a combination of regular, great-tasting meals, PT and OT (on-site), and the various social activities. She is stronger physically and emotionally. The staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is clean, quiet and well-maintained. Well staffed. Lots of personal contact. Multiple activities each week. Great food. Well maintained building and grounds. Very well pleased with everything at Cedarhurst. We can't say enough good about Cedarhurst.

Don't expect perfection. No facility is perfect. But, Cedarhurst strives for that. My mother loves her apartment, staff and food. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Don't like that if you have their staff administer medication you have to use their pharmacy, not very timely if loved one needs antibiotics. Also, they don't use any kind of online updates on Nurse Practioner visits.

Move in while they are healthy, the place is set up to engage them and remove their stress and keep them healthy . Don't wait until they are exhausted after their health declines. They have difficulty with staffing, like all of the other places.

Cedarhurst at beaumont has a very warm and welcoming environment. From the day my mom moved in they treated us like family. I can not say enough about [name removed] and [name removed] and the care they give my mom. I rest easy knowing she is cared for by the two of them. A big thank you to them and all there patience and understanding with my mom.

Cedarhurst was wonderful my mother received the best care the food was Excellent very clean and friendly staff on a scale of 1-5. I give them a 5. Yes most definitely recommend this community to other families, it's a 5 Star place

They are very friendly and helpful- the facility could have been a little cleaner.

The "good " is the size and condition of the rooms. Largest I found anywhere and everything worked well in the bathroom. The trash was picked up about 3 times daily which is necessary when so many wear diapers. The activity directors were fantastic. Grown up activities, not just coloring books which my mom said makes you feel like kindergarten. The fact that there is a nurse on staff full time is a great help. The food was good (I ate there occasionally with my mom) and they would fix you what you wanted if you didn't like the entree that day. The outside patio/porch was fantastic. Overlooks a little lake and my mom loved it. Not keen on the laundry service. Stuff went out, but never came back, so I did my mom's laundry personally. Hard to contact after 5:00pm. Rarely did anyone answer the phone after that time.

5 for all. It has been a wonderful experience. What we like the most about the community is the transportation options, warmth of surroundings, numerous activities. Yes, I would recommend the community to other families and have already.

I like that they check on all residents every 2 hours. Staff members are very responsive to my questions and concerns

I helped move my mother in law to this facility last week. The staff was courteous and helpful. The facility was clean and adequate. The medical care she received was top notch. The food looked good and she ate it so I know it was. Overall it was a very good experience.

We admitted our mother last weekend, I am a retired nurse that worked in long term care for many years. The staff was very helpful and supportive . My family felt a relief that mom was going to be well cared for and a sense of caring from the staff we met. I would highly recommend this facility.

My mom is living in the Memory Care section. It is very clean and her room is always tidy, clean and laundry done, folded and basket set out again. I have gotten to know her staff and I welcome their calls and they always take time to talk to me every visit. I love that my mom is never in her room. They emphasize activities and being with the group.

I find a lot of support here. There is good food and breakfast is available all day. If you don’t want the entry you can always get chicken or something simple. There are a variety of activities, movement classes, discussion groups, and films. There are trips to activities in Lexington including going to the race track. I have met many people and have made new friends. My son visits and people enjoy talking to him also. Bring your family and pay us a visit.
