Don't expect perfection. No facility is perfect. But, Cedarhurst strives for that. My mother loves her apartment, staff and food. Don't hesitate to ask questions. Don't like that if you have their staff administer medication you have to use their pharmacy, not very timely if loved one needs antibiotics. Also, they don't use any kind of online updates on Nurse Practioner visits.

Move in while they are healthy, the place is set up to engage them and remove their stress and keep them healthy . Don't wait until they are exhausted after their health declines. They have difficulty with staffing, like all of the other places.

Cedarhurst at beaumont has a very warm and welcoming environment. From the day my mom moved in they treated us like family. I can not say enough about [name removed] and [name removed] and the care they give my mom. I rest easy knowing she is cared for by the two of them. A big thank you to them and all there patience and understanding with my mom.

Cedarhurst was wonderful my mother received the best care the food was Excellent very clean and friendly staff on a scale of 1-5. I give them a 5. Yes most definitely recommend this community to other families, it's a 5 Star place

They are very friendly and helpful- the facility could have been a little cleaner.

The "good " is the size and condition of the rooms. Largest I found anywhere and everything worked well in the bathroom. The trash was picked up about 3 times daily which is necessary when so many wear diapers. The activity directors were fantastic. Grown up activities, not just coloring books which my mom said makes you feel like kindergarten. The fact that there is a nurse on staff full time is a great help. The food was good (I ate there occasionally with my mom) and they would fix you what you wanted if you didn't like the entree that day. The outside patio/porch was fantastic. Overlooks a little lake and my mom loved it. Not keen on the laundry service. Stuff went out, but never came back, so I did my mom's laundry personally. Hard to contact after 5:00pm. Rarely did anyone answer the phone after that time.

5 for all. It has been a wonderful experience. What we like the most about the community is the transportation options, warmth of surroundings, numerous activities. Yes, I would recommend the community to other families and have already.

I like that they check on all residents every 2 hours. Staff members are very responsive to my questions and concerns

I helped move my mother in law to this facility last week. The staff was courteous and helpful. The facility was clean and adequate. The medical care she received was top notch. The food looked good and she ate it so I know it was. Overall it was a very good experience.

We admitted our mother last weekend, I am a retired nurse that worked in long term care for many years. The staff was very helpful and supportive . My family felt a relief that mom was going to be well cared for and a sense of caring from the staff we met. I would highly recommend this facility.

My mom is living in the Memory Care section. It is very clean and her room is always tidy, clean and laundry done, folded and basket set out again. I have gotten to know her staff and I welcome their calls and they always take time to talk to me every visit. I love that my mom is never in her room. They emphasize activities and being with the group.

I find a lot of support here. There is good food and breakfast is available all day. If you don’t want the entry you can always get chicken or something simple. There are a variety of activities, movement classes, discussion groups, and films. There are trips to activities in Lexington including going to the race track. I have met many people and have made new friends. My son visits and people enjoy talking to him also. Bring your family and pay us a visit.

Both of my parents have been at Cedarhurst of Lebanon for over a year. We are thrilled with the apartment and with their care. My mother tells me often how lucky they feel to be living in such a beautiful place.

We moved mom in but she died [date removed] She had several falls. We loved Cedarhurst. By the time we got her moved she had declined a lot. They were wonderful. I wish she could have lasted longer there. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a very homey and caring space!

What we like the most about Cedarhurst of Topeka is that they are so compassionate and friendly and caring. Make effort to know us and speak to us whenever we see them. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families base don the experience we have had so far!!

I chose this facility because it was new, it smelled clean and everyone was friendly. I would tell others to do their own laundry.

Cedar Creek is really amazing! The staff is extremely personable. They definitely get to know the residents and they are so kind and helpful!! They are doing all kinds of activities all the time and fun ones. And they do family events as well which is amazing!

Pleasant and helpful staff. The facility is clean and up to date. There are a variety of Activities for the residents daily. Good variety in the daily menu and our mom gave her compliments to the chef on the cooking. She especially enjoyed the baked goods offered fresh daily in the community area. Staff was very helpful with the move in process

Very clean place, nice apartment and employees are extremely helpful and good to my mom. We are lucky we found such a nice place when my mom needed assisted living. Mom started having her hair done weekly by their stylist and it makes her feel so much better. She had stopped doing that years ago.
