Friendly and caring. Very available staff and more helped two nurse practitioners (good many activities)

Cedarhurst was absolutely the best overall experience for us. She was at [community name removed] in [name removed] but we weren't happy with the care she was getting. The staff was always playing on their phones while at the desk. Did not see any interaction with patients except to get them to and from dining area. Both facilities were clean. Staff was great at Cedarhurst from front desk to memory care techs to maintenance to the manager.

Cedar Creek of Franklin is home to me. The staff does a great job responding to me in a timely manner. The activities have been really good and enjoyable. I won the dream trip and Cedarhurst paid for my trip in full to go see my brother.

This community offers a range of services including personal care assistance, meal preparation, housekeeping, and social activities. The food and the cooks both exceeded expectations that all residents hold. We couldn’t be luckier with where we live.

This is my home for the rest of my life. I’ve had problems and when brought to the ED they were solved immediately. The staff here is absolutely amazing and I don’t know how they seem to keep such great people

Everyone is so nice and friendly. The staff takes amazing care of each resident. The food is AMAZING. My favorite meal is the biscuits and gravy but I never seem to make it down for breakfast due to sleeping in.

This is a wonderful place to live. I love the activities they hold. Bingo is my favorite activity every Monday and Friday. The food is always so good here. I think my favorite part is the ice cream for dessert!

I love living here. The food is amazing and the cooks do a wonderful job making sure we all get the food we want even if we do not order it. They hold fabulous activities for all of us residents to enjoy. They make sure that there is always something on the calendar we will enjoy.

I think this is a very homey place and I like that it is a smaller community. I like having my own private room where I can get away. I enjoy how friendly the residents and the staff are. I love how they have an always available menu to order off of if we do not like what is being served that day.

I really like it and glad I am here. I couldn’t be better off anywhere else. I have made wonderful friendships with every resident and staff member. This is a home to me. No where else we looked could have provided the same care.

Cedarhurst offers a wide variety of activities so all residents have choices of what they want to participate in. Shopping is offered three times a week. Several clubs are available to all, grief support, bridge , Rummikub, 09’s , drama club , Bible Discussion , lunch bunch and more. I love the variety of entertainment which also includes evenings. Overall, the residents are super friendly and welcoming to newcomers! I’ve been in a lot of senior communities and Cedarhurst is by far the cleanest and well maintained!!!!!

I have been working with this community for almost three years. Starting off as a care taker. I will never forget the first day I interviewed here. The community was beautiful, and clean not only on the outside but also when I walked in. I was greeted right away with a smile and it made me feel like I belonged. I knew right then I wanted to work here. Almost three years later I’m still here not only because this is a beautiful, and clean community but because of the values and beliefs this community holds. The way we work together to make sure we take care of each other (and when I say we work together I mean staff and residents) all look out for one another. It feels good being somewhere you know your co workers and your residents really care about you and look forward to seeing you.That’s why I always refer to my job as home.. we are more like family here and I wouldn’t change it for anything!! Wishing many more years here.

Cedarhurst is the best senior living option in Michiana. I love the interior after their recent renovations. It is so warm and inviting. Their environmental services coordinator is so helpful and she always responds to any requests right away. It’s so wonderful to see how involved staff get with each of the residents and their family members. Every single part of the team is approachable and helpful no matter what the need. Teamwork at its finest!

Our family is so happy with the choice to go with Cedarhurst. The staff are so friendly and we are so grateful for their conceirge. She is so helpful and great with mom. It doesn't matter if it is booking transportation or figuring out how to use her cell phone. We couldn't be happier with the level of care she receives!

I am comfortable with the care my wife is experiencing. A friendly and caring staff. Good food. Many activities to choose from. Facility is clean and well maintained. The visiting hours are pretty much whenever the place is open.A fine place to be.

When I tell my kids everything the staff does for me they can't believe it! The staff is super sweet and go above and beyond to care for all of us!

For our family member so far it's been all fives. Care and attention very good with a homey atmosphere. I would recommend Cedarhurst of Oakwood community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

We recently came from out of town to visit a friend. Upon entering the parking lot, the facility has a fresh, almost vacation feel. It is beautifully lancscaped. Upon entering the building, we immediately felt welcomed by the staff who knew our friend was expecting us. Inside the facility you experience a warm and cozy atmosphere. Meeting up with our friend who was excited to show us around, the staff was amazingly friendly. You felt that they were your friend too. You knew they respected the residents and were very caring. The staff seemed to draw the residents out to keep them involved and occupied to a purposeful life. It appeared that there were many activities and social areas to keep residents interested in their surroundings. Residents we met seemed happy, Our friend seemed to enjoy mealtime and the companionship it offered. It appeared to be a very vibrant encouraging place to live.

Cedarhurst is a home. I hope I never have to leave. This is not a nursing it's a family and living home!
