We chose McKinney Place primarily because of the cost and the location. The facility is very close to where they currently lived so they were able to stay in their hometown near their friends and church which was important to them. During our tour everything seemed great and it was a no brainer. The room sizes here are very nice for them, they are in a 1 bedroom apartment and it suits their needs. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Hamilton Place because it was very close to his current home and also I received recommendations from some others who were actually in the health care field. The room sizes here are very large. The staff members are very personable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend to others looking.

We chose Cedarhurst of Highland because of the friendliness of the staff, they reached out to me while I was looking and they took care of everything we needed and were very accommodating. The room sizes here in memory care are really small. They are just so easy to get along with and can help you with whatever you need. When things are going on with family members it is difficult and they were always there for me and went out of their way. I would highly recommend to others looking. It really felt like a family in the memory care unit, they only had 5 rooms so they always got great personalized care.

Liked this place a lot. Likely will move forward with them.

At the time our loved one moved in it was a newer community so they were ironing out the kinks and during the pandemic there were small hiccups but they have been wonderful. They have been extremely responsive whether its through the online app or text messages. The nurses and directors have been very responsive and very accommodating and good to our loved ones needs. Everyone has truly be awesome.

We did a virtual tour of this community and the tour was great. The staff was very friendly and they answered all of our questions.

Beautiful. New. Sophisticated. Lovely. Centered in the center of Beaumont, Cedarhurst is delightful. With responsive returns to emails, texts and voicemails, the team at Cedarhurst are true professionals. Room layouts and website information is pleasing and informative. As a top contender for a new home for Mother, we await availability and notifications, yet are optimistic and extremely positive with all at Cedarhurst At Beaumont.

One of the most difficult choices in life is to find a new “Home” for a parent who is unable to live in their home safely. A Place for Mom linked us to Lake City Place. Mom has lived at Lake City Place for over five years. She does call it home. She receives wonderful care from everyone. I as with her for lunch one day and the cook brought her vinegar for her spinach. Even I didn’t know she liked vinegar on spinach! COVID restrictions were extremely difficult for everyone but more so for residents in assisted living. The staff at Lake City did everything possible to make residents comfortable and active during this time. We were sent daily updates on health of residents. As soon as visits were allowed we were notified. I recommend Lake City Place to anyone who needs a new home for their parent. Our mother has been been welcomed and cared for by everyone there. She is content and is living the remaining years of her life surrounded by a second family.

We were very impressed with the overall appearance of the facility. The one bedroom was very roomy. [name removed] was friendly and very knowledgeable.

I toured Lake City Place and have gotten to know the staff. I was totally impressed with everything. It is a place where your loved ones can really feel at home. It is beautiful, clean, comfortable and they go above and beyond for their residents.

The activities were still pretty minimal with the restrictions but they still allowed them to do some activities. The community was clean, the staff members were all really friendly and the price was more reasonable compared to other communities in the area.

My 93 year old mother has lived here since [date removed] She has loved it from the very beginning. She tells me all the staff are so nice to her. She has a nice one bedroom apartment. She still gets around well on her own but needs help with her medications. There is a nurse 24/7 here unlike some assisted living facilities who dispense her medications so I don’t need to worry if she has them mixed up. This is a licensed facility that long term care insurance will help pay for.

I would recommend the community. The kindness of the compassion of all the staff stand out to me. It is a new and beautiful community. My loved one wears hearing aides and this is the biggest issue for my loved one here. The consistent process of maintenance of the hearing aides is a chronic issue. Some of this is due to COVID, and us being unaware of some new issues. I am recommending a change in process to asses hearing and ear health during the initial assessment at the community I would like to see the staff shave the woman's face like they do men's face. Clarification of communication between the three shifts would be helpful. They have a new Executive Director and recruiting a new Director of Nursing. Overall, I am happy with my loved one being here.

They are very professional, very clean, and any time I call they tell me to call anytime, that it's never a bother for them. They let me know if my loved one needs something. Communication is great. I don't think I would want any other place to be caring for my loved one. We're in the memory care portion of the community. The staff sends pictures to the family when our loved one is participating in activities, and we can comment on those pictures and ask questions. The staff make themselves very available to us. Every single one of the gals I've talked with has been great. I feel like the cost is worth it, and it's pretty reasonable comparing it with what other people tell me. It's been total peace of mind for me, and totally worth it.

This is a good place for your loved one. They are friendly, and they care for the residents. The food is good. They have a nurse practitioner as a doctor and didn't know about memory care. She wasn't willing to learn about treatment for Alzheimer's and dementia residents..

We chose Cedarhurst of Farmington because it was a new facility and it provided more of a resort feel rather than a nursing home or skilled nursing facility. The room sizes are good, my mom is in a 2 bedroom and it is perfect for her. The only downfall is that because it is new, there are not a whole lot of residents yet. The staff have been very accommodating and not only are they pet friendly facility, but they will walk them as well. They do also have trial rooms, so you can try out a room that is fully furnished for 30 days to see if it is the right fit.

Nice, almost new facility. The assisted living apartments were very warm and welcoming with adequate room for furniture. Common areas were well lit, open and airy with high ceilings. Multiple areas for visitors and seemed very open to accepting family and friends for visiting. The whole facility was very clean and smelled fresh. I liked it. The staff we encountered were friendly.

The staff members have been great, and the care services are excellent. They have done an outstanding job during the pandemic and quarantine residents and employees when appropriate. Our loved one would say the meals are a 6+, the quality is great and there is a wide variety of options to choose from. She is overall very impressed, and she is very satisfied with the amenities and quality of service she received. Our loved one has a nice size apartment with two bedrooms and two baths. We also get an email five days a week giving any updates regarding covid.

We chose Cedarhurst because they had the highest level of skilled nursing care and they seemed to be the best fit for her. Cedarhurst was a good in between of a smaller and bigger facility. Her room was adequate for her needs. Overall, they were good at communication. I always had someone I could contact who could help. I would recommend to others looking.
