the staff at Cedarhurst of Farmington community are just absolutely amazing, and they have non stop around the clock care. Also the meals they serve are just like fine dining, and when they are able to have activities they are great.

This community has been excellent and the staff members are excellent as well. We have only had a positive experience with them. I am happy with placing my loved one here. I recommend you placing your loved ones here, as well. The staff are very friendly. The staff are available to answer my questions on my loved one, when needed. Off and on they will allow families come visit their resident with distance either on a patio or via a window.

The community was always clean and tidy in the hallways when I visited. I believe the community could have done a better job at cleaning my loved one's room, though. Due to certain medical conditions of your loved one, you may need to provide the items to the community. The other option they may offer is to charge you for these items. There is a doctor and PA that will come visit the community at least once a week. The nurse will call to let me know if anything changes with my loved one. The community will be having a bus to take the residents to see the Christmas lights, while social distancing.

I would recommend to others that this is a great place for their loved ones. The staff has been very helpful, and keep you updated with any changes in the community and your loved one. This is especially helpful during the pandemic. I feel my loved one has been effected hard with the lock down due to COVID. The Meriwether is doing a great job with the COVID restrictions.

The facility is always clean, and the staff is wonderful. I appreciate that they have not taken any chances with Covid, The communication is great they are quick to let us know if there are any issues. I would recommend this community to others.

In [date removed] I moved my 87-year-old mother and 63-year-old sister from Florida to The Waterford at Hidden Lake. My sister was severely handicapped and my mother was no longer able to arrange and give her the care and support she needed. I was extremely concerned about finding a facility that would be able to provide the wide range of care they would need. I visited a number of facilities but none of them were the right fit. When I visited Hidden Lake, it was a completely different feeling. The staff there was able to convince me my mother and sister were both welcome and they would be able to accommodate their needs. From the moment we moved them in I knew we had found the right place. The care giving staff was exceptional and the facility is beautiful. My mother who was scared to death about moving from her home to an assisted care facility kept saying, “I love it here”. My sister passed away 2 ½ years ago and my mom just over a month ago. They both had so many friends at Hidden Lake with an active social life. Finding Hidden Lake was truly a godsend and I will always be grateful to the caring and compassionate people there that cared for my mom and sister.

The community was wonderful! The cost of the community was reasonable all the care they would have been able to provide for my loved one. The community has WiFi access in the apartment for our loved one, items being delivered to my loved on'es room. They even had their own post office in the community.

Since the lock down we really haven't much interaction with the community, however we really liked the place. When we first went there they were extremely nice and everything looked great. they were very helpful with moving our loved one in. During this time we have had to rely heavily on the internet and telephone for communication and they have done a great job. They are also no longer Maple Wood they are now Cedar Hurst of Springfield.

This community has been a big blessing. The family loved this community for our loved one. From the minute my loved one moved in, they wanted to know about him and to help care for him further. I felt comfortable knowing my loved one was at High Plains. The other residents and staff made us and this community feel like a huge extended family. The community allowed him to go weekly on the rides as a navigator to help him be more happy at this community. I am so thankful and I love this community still.

We chose Cedarhurst of Bethalto because we knew someone who was there and it just seemed like the best value for the money and the care that they were going to be able to provide. The apartment sizes are wonderful. The food here was chef prepared, my mom always loved the soups and deserts the most. They really did the best that they could do with the pandemic, they only had 1 case of COVID that I heard of. The best part was the staff members, they were amazing and treated her like their own family. I would absolutely recommend.

This community staff is extremely caring, the admin staff works with the family and great us by name as you walk through the door, They know who you are. Memory care was exceptional and the ratio of staff to patients was also very good. The food is very good, with good variety. (restaurant style) They made an exception for the residents as they get to know them. The location of the facility was nice and quiet, and the encouraged family to come and spend time at the facility. They were very versatile and were able to help even if you just showed up The nursing staff has a physician and nurse practitioner on-call and is outstanding. they are very compassionate and are willing to help the family. I have already recommended this community to a friend.

We chose The Meriwether La Vista because we really liked their Alzheimer's and dementia unit. They also have a lot of activities provided for the residents to keep them busy. The room sizes here are good and we have no complaints. The best part about the community so far is having the peace of mind that our mom is safe here. I would recommend to others.

This is a safe community, I have been so impressed with how they have handled covid. We have been able to do some porch visits, and the facility is clean and they are doing the best they can do. My mom and dad love the size of their room, and I would definitely recommend this community

We chose this facility because of the admissions lady. She was very nice and she was interacting with all of the residents, you can tell she really loves what she does. The studio we chose has been perfect size for my mother, they are bigger than what I expected. I haven't eaten here, but my mom is gaining weight so it must be good. We have been able to meet outside and visit with our loved ones, now that it is cold they are letting us inside. I would recommend.

When we first visited this community it seemed to be very clean, and the help seemed very kind. Some activities this community has are morning devotions, they occasionally get together and make cookies, and bingo which our loved one really enjoys. The rooms they provided are very adequate, they have just enough space for our loved ones items.

Our loved one moved in right before COVID, and at first no one was allowed to visit even including family. From our understanding this community has been kept fairly clean, and it seems like the staff members have been friendly and very caring towards our loved one. They have been very careful during this time, they have tested all the residents and are very adamant about always wearing masks. It is not a very high priced community, and they seem to have a lot activities for the residents to do. I believe they have different management but that hasn't seemed to affect the quality of care, that is still great. If you want to visit your family you can sit outside on the porch sitting six feet away.

Employees are kind to me and respond quickly to my needs that I express to them.
