Our first impression of this community was that we really liked it, and it was very bright. Our loved ones first room they had was very spacious, i was a good size. Now they have been moved to another room and because of COVID we have not been able to see it. Also due to COVID there are no activities on the memory care side.

Needs lots of improvement for the price, not what I am looking for. Customer service is good.

This community is based on a new model and it has very few structured activities. The residents are free to roam from room to room during the day to watch TV. If the individual can not entertain themselves they can become pretty bored. My mother just felt lost everyday. The rooms were not well kept and were old and worn out. I would not recommend this community unless your are comfortable with the lack of structure and need for independent activities.

I would recommend that you try eating their food at least three or fours times on a surprise show up before you make your decision. I do not enjoy the food here. I would say that about one in every five meals I find to be satisfactory. Depending upon your individual mobility, it is important to check the parking situation. They do not offer covered or underground parking. If the parking lot is full, I have to park far away and that is not safe for me.

Not a good fit for my mother. The facility was a bit dated but clean. The facility seemed to busy/mousey and not warm.

Does not offer independent living. Will not consider.

My loved one has recently made the move into this community and so far things are not going the best. I feel like they are not wanting to deal with his medical needs and just pushing things that need to be addressed immediately aside. My loved one is having a really rough time and I am hoping the staff do something soon to fix this problem.

From what I saw, this was a fairly nice facility. It was clean and the residents and staff seemed friendly. My primary concern was the fact that their memory care unit was not big enough for my loved one. Other than this, it seems quite nice!

I toured this community for good. I did like the cleanliness of the community. I was happy with a lot of the information that was given here. They offer a lot of nice meals. Activities are offer for those who want to join in. I would recommend this community to other families.

This community was very far for us. We had an appointment and when we got there the person was not there and did not make another arrangement for us. We waited for an hour for them to find someone else. That was not something I would approve. I did not feel that it was light and airy while at this community.

I am now moving out from this community. I felt I was paying for services that I was rarely getting. My expenses included 3 meals a day which was beyond my budget. All in all, if the price was lower I could stay here but I ended up finding a community that fit my budget.

As a new facility I think they have been through some growing pains, but I've never had a concern about my mom. She enjoys the people who take care of her and the car service has relieved my load in terms of taking her to appointments. The activity staff does a nice job of putting together things for people to do and my wife and I have been to several things that people seemed to enjoy. I don't think the food is as good as the facility she lived at in Medford, but it seems they are making an effort to change up the menu and find things that people enjoy. For the price charged I'm surprised by the added cost for beer and wine. These were complimentary at her prior residence. A little disappointed that the transportation was out of commission for a corporate visit. The residents should come first.

The management staff members are very stern over at the Brookdale Grants Pass Village. They do not let the other staff members do what they want or what they need to do in order to provide adequate care.

The dining room service needs improving at Heritage Springs. They need more staff helping out. Other than that there is nothing else I would make mention of specifically.

The food was substandard. The lunch choice was a hot dog and beans or a bland chicken burger, not impressive at all. The residents detached and main staff just putting in their time it seems. They did have 3 main level apartments and beautiful hotel style building. the downside was the activity areas were spread out on two floors.

My mom has dementia, and I am not 100% sure that they give the best care for that. She spends a lot of time in her room and does not have as much social interaction as I think she should. But then I am not sure if that is more on them or on her. Other than that it has been a good positive experience.

overall my experience at springpointe has been fairly positive. most of the staff is excellent and works well with the seniors at the facility. when i was first looking at emeritus i was told that there would be 2 staff members at each unit 24 hours a day that has not been the case i rarely find more than 1 person on each unit and frequently cannot find anyonein the entire building. once i needed some of my mothers personal belongings which is locked up by the staff not only could i not find staff on her unit but there was no one in the entire building. i finally found the med distribution lady and she could not get ahold of anyone. this is at about 7:30 pm. another time a resident had fallen and laid on the floor for some time because there was no staff around. activities are nonexsistent almost. at most someone comes in and plays music occasionaly. i understand they are hiring a new activities director hopefully this will change. the biggest problem seem to stem from a lack of staffing.

My loved one didn’t really use a lot of the activities, so I can’t rate them. I suggest check the staffing levels based on the services needed. My loved one does not like the food, but that could be him. It’s clean enough and the staff is okay.

Nice- small - no independent apts- too far out

My loved one was only there for a short time, but it was an okay experience. Everything seemed very average. We felt out of the loop as far as the communication is concerned, and it seemed like the staff could have been more accomodating in terms of introducing everyone and being welcoming. However, on short notice, they had space, so it worked.
