Its outstanding! There's so much variety and they provide what we need, its awesome! The people are so wonderful to us.

Our loved one seems to be happy here, he is enjoying the means and staff. We do really like all the staff members they are very friendly. They do have activities for the residents there but since he is on the memory care side the activities are like arts and crafts. Overall it is a good community but we have had some issues with some of our loved ones items go missing.

Always putting the best interest of the resident above all others. Great community partner for health services provided.

The staff overall is incredibly kind and empathetic. They do provide weekly housekeeping and daily lunch and dinner service. Activity schedule is posted in the elevators for easy reminders. They also offer free shuttle service for doctor's visits, shopping, and church services. The building itself is a little dated but very clean. The grounds outside are beautiful and well maintained.

Royalton Place is a secure place for your parents, and they help wherever you need them.

We chose Royalton Place because of the convenient location, the layout of the facility, and just the overall look of it. The staff were all super friendly as well. We looked at many other places and we would not have put our loved one anywhere but here. I do not see many activities going on when I go to visit. Yesterday was one of the first times I saw an organized activities going on in the memory care unit. I do appreciate the oversight that they provide, but they were slow to get me the service care plan. I feel that I have to do a lot of nagging to get things done. As with any facility, you just have to pay attention to what is going on. Overall I would recommend them to others looking.

Quality of care was 3 stars - They appeared to be understaffed but again I don't have anything to compare to. Mom fell frequently due to her impatience to wait for assistance, complicated by her dementia. I think they could have checked more frequently on her, especially once they realized her "independent" streak. They wouldn't allow us to use some of the tools we used at home to alert us when she tried to get up on her own. I think they tried, but her multiple falls were very distressing to the family. Value of cost. - our best guess was 4 stars. We didn't really have other options in our town for their services, so again nothing to compare them to. Mom wasn't very interested in the food, but that was probably more her than what they offered. The menus sounded good, but due to Covid restrictions, family wasn't able to join mom for meals. They offered lots of options but mom wasn't interested. They tried, as did the family, to get mom involved. She did attend a few activities. Mom entered Alpine for Hospice care and lived there less than a month. The services they provided met a need that our family wasn't able to provide, and we do greatly appreciate that. The staff did seem to care for mom. After being her caregiver for several years, I did have my times of frustration feeling like they should be more attentive .

Our family has had a very tough year due to my wife's condition with Huntingdon disease. After visiting over 10 local care facilities, most would not take a person with HD under their care. Desert Hills memory care center was our last visit. After meeting the director and some of the staff, I knew that desert Hills would be the place I could trust for the care of my loving wife. Desert Hills has been a blessing in our time of need and all the staff have been so caring and loving to my wife. They have given our family a chance to heal and live again. I am thankful for the incredible staff and individuals who have one of the toughest jobs in caring for our loved ones now in their time of needs. [name removed] and her staff provide top care and attention to all the residents who make Desert Hills a home away from home.

Our family had an in person tour and the people were helpful and the manager was super nice. They did some follow up which we appreciated and they had a really nice big outdoor area for the residents, but we just did not like how our loved one would have to go down the hall if they needed to use the restrooms'.

I had an experience before this; we put my mother-in-law in Royalton Place for a time period. So, when it came time for my mom we moved her in, and I'd recommend them. Communication between the community and our family has been pretty good. There are two girls who usually call me; [name removed] an aide and their leader. They'll contact me if there's a problem. Some of the amenities offered here at Royalton Place include hair & nail treatments, a dining hall, outings, and occasional entertainment guests.

Overall Royalton Place is a really nice place, compared to other communities I have seen. My only reservations I have is having to remind the staff about the cleaning of the room and linens for my loved one's room. By contract this is supposed to be done on a specific day weekly. I believe the Administration needs to change how they administer the staff under them, to make sure they don't miss housekeeping duties. For the most part everyone on the staff is very friendly.

Mom was the one who chose Waterford Grand because it is on the river and she gets to go out and walk along the river on a regular basis and she loves the setting. There was someone who helped her the first couple of weeks to help mom gets acclimated to the facility. We ended up hiring someone to spend some extra time with my mom during the week and that has worked out very well and it helps keep her as independent as possible. She says the food is great, she eats in the dining room 3 times a day and has made some friends which has been a huge plus. She absolutely loves that Monday through Friday a weight training class and she goes every single day, she never forgets it. Overall we would recommend them to others looking.

I would make sure you are patient with the level of care that your loved one needs and the communication with staff. There was mixed response with the staff, some have been rude, and others have been helpful in getting questions or concerns addressed about our loved one. There are different levels of care that the community will charge for. One of the care types they provide is escorting the residents to the dining room from their rooms and back from the dining room. Some of the other care they provide is medication management. It would have been nice to know that the community didn't provide the medication as requested. Also, they had the resident's family go between the pharmacy and the community. The apartment, all the meals, utilities (not including the phone and cable), care, housekeeping, and changing of linens is all included in the monthly fee.

Everybody has been wonderful and super helpful to our family, they helped make a really difficult and stressful transition much easier. It has really taken a load off of our family. Considering the times it is a great value for the money.

We got a good overall feeling about Royalton Place from the moment we walked in for our tour. It is a smaller facility, the marketing staff and everyone we met were friendly, and the rooms are a good size. It is a great value for the money and they are very competitive for the area. There are not many activities that my father is interested in, but they do have a lot provided. What really sticks out to us after being here for a few months now iis the staff, they are super caring and friendly.

The staff members here are very friendly and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families. They are going through a chef change currently so the meals at times can be a hit or a miss but our loved one says they are getting better. They are getting more and more activities all the time and the residents get a sheet everyday that is showing whats going on and what is coming up.

We had a really good tour experience with Magnolia Grand. It was a very nice facility with friendly staff. Unfortunately my loved one was mis-diagnosed with dementia and so they were not able to take him even though that was not the case.

The size of the rooms for the residents are good. The staff are caring and friendly. There doesn't seem to be a lot of activities available for the residents to participate in. The staff are easy to work with if I have questions or concerns about my loved one. My loved one was very picky prior to coming to the community, and they seem to enjoy all the food here.

It has been quite an adjustment for our mother so far, however the staff have been very quick to respond to her needs and continue to asses her health. Any time there is an update with our loved one there is no lack of communication. As far as when my siblings go to visit since I live out of state, or when I speak to them on the phone they have been very friendly and helpful. When my siblings go to visit they have nothing negative to say about the cleanliness of the community.
