Everything was pretty good, though they're struggling with high turnover and the food quality and amount hasn't been great. Great caring staff, beautiful facility, but considerably higher than other facilities.

Staff has been wonderful to me, extremely caring and supportive. I haven't been very active yet but there is a lot of choices.

My comments are probably nitpicking, but I feel like it would be helpful if the staff wore name tags. Also, my family would like better communication between us and the staff. I would say communication from the staff is poor and probably the biggest frustration we have with them. An activity calendar for the memory care ( not the whole facility ) emailed to us would be extremely helpful. It's frustrating when we go to visit, and they're in the middle of an activity that we know nothing about. Especially frustrating for my father's wife who pays for transportation to visit him for an hour every week. Sometimes half her time spent there is wasted. We would like to know about the schedule for the podiatrist, showers, meal times, etc.

It's a very good staff for care period. Maintenance is always a challenge. The food is above average institutional.

Staff are great; they check on mom every day. People are friendly. Mom's apt has some cabinets that could use some attention. It's an older building but clean. Food seems to be good & varied. Lots of activities are offered. And the surroundings are very pleasant & tucked away with lots of trees. Close to a Fred Meyer & a Walmart. They have a van that takes them shopping. My mom loves her apartment.

Overall, it's been a decent transition for my loved one. There was literally no one to welcome her or show her around or introduce her to other residents she might bond with. Sales people have not been in touch to see how things are going. Some promises that we were made before move in still haven't happened. For the care that she receives, she could be in independent living. She needs/receives almost no "care" but has to pay for level 1 care. The power has been out at Regency Park since last Saturday morning. With generator power, there has been modified meals and the heat level hovers between 60-64. Going on a week at a senior living complex is a challenge. Not fault of RP, but I'd think they would have more significant generator power.

I would definitely recommend the facility. The staff is very friendly. The housekeeping takes place once a week and besides cleaning, they change the sheets and make the bed/washing the sheets and towels. The meals are of good quality. My one complaint is dealing with the finance department about incorrect charges.

All of the staff are pleasant and helpful. The care staff are great, I couldn't ask for better. The cleaning schedule seems to be a little sketchy. It was once a week, in December there was a note telling her they would be gone for a couple of weeks. Now it looks like every two weeks. Since they are also doing laundry, that's not enough. The food that I have had is definitely good. They have two choices for lunch and dinner, not sure about breakfast. They could use a couple of normal items if you don't care for the specials. The cleaning and only having the two meal options are my mom's biggest complaints. Overall, I would recommend them. I feel like she is safe there and well taken care of.

Everything at Waterford is very nice but it is not a perfect match for my loved one. Everything is clean, orderly and well maintained. My loved one has little interest in eating and has lost weight from 106 lbs to 92lbs. She will eat in a social setting where someone will sit with her and talk. As she talks she tends to nibble at her food if gentle prompts and encouragement are given. Waterford Grand doesn't have enough staff available at meal times to give her this personal touch. As a result we are having to search for another memory care situation. Note: it is very expensive

The staff at Regency Grand of West Covina are friendly, looking to please, and very professional.

So far, so good. My brother seems to like it there. Nice people and nice ambience, plus on site nursing staff.

Everything here is good except I am disappointed in the food and I do think the cost is too high. At my age I am one of the youngest and i was hoping there would be more here that are my age or younger. However I would recommend before making a choice to search and look at more places!

Friendly staff overall and the new activities director is great! Food is good and varied. As is everywhere, staff is asked to do more for less and there is not always enough staff. I know this is not specific to A.V though.

We're paying for highest level of care, which I don't believe is correct. It's encouraging to see new employees on the staff. I believe Deborah is responsible for a lot of the improvements. I hope it continues. The facility does not have a good name in the community. I hope that will change. I would like to mention [name removed] who was so patient and helpful during a very stressful time for me. And [name removed] for being there whenever we need him.

It was cheaper but it not the pricest any more. It's okay. I picked this community because it was brand new.

Overall our family has had a very positive experience with Regency Park. We appreciate how helpful the management team has been so far. Based on the experience so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Based on our experience so far with Regency Park we think they could improve on their communication with the residents family members. They could also improve on the care conferences and the needed supplies.

What we like the most about the Regency Park community is the friendliness of the staff members working there as well as the beautiful outdoor spots they have. My dad has been so happy there and the staff has been great! We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far!

The staff are very nice and responsive to my questions. The food in the dining room is ok but not much variety and seems to be pre prepared so can be cold. We picked this community because of the location and memory care on site. Also the size and openness of the room.

It's a beautiful facility and they allowed my moms dog which was huge to her. We picked it because it wasn't a sterile environment. We didn't want her to think she was in an institution, but rather a nice apartment.
