The administration was very helpful and always responded quickly to my questions and concerns. When I visited the staff was always very friendly. I was impressed by how they all knew and were familiar with every resident. They have a lovely outside area!

The independent living is good for my mother, staff is very good to her, biggest complaint is the food and they need more creative things to do for seniors.

Just moved my Dad in two days ago, but so far so good. [name removed] was incredibly accommodating and helpful along the way. Helped from the very first day through the entire process, everything from to finding a hospital bed to the move itself. She is outstanding at her job and clearly enjoys it.

Sometimes they do not clean dirty table cloths until the next day. If a spill happens at breakfast it is there until dinner. My parents are not in assisted living so they don't get any care. I was disappointed if something were to happen like a fall the staff doesn't help they just call 911. This may be standard but was news to me. They have had problems keeping chefs as a result the service at meals is very slow most of the time and the food selection is not the best. Probably the biggest complaint is the food and length of time it takes to get served.

The staff really cares - most of them. I have only had a couple of disappointing interactions. For the most part, the staff is great and goes out of their way to give the residents a great living experience. If there is anything we have needed, they have done whatever they could to make it happen. I am very grateful we have found Creekside for my uncle.

Some issues but mostly due to staffing. I would recommend to others.

Mostly everyone was friendly and helpful. Many of the caregivers spoke English as a second language, so communication was sometimes difficult. I don't know how they could improve on that though. My dad was only there for two months.

Creekside is the most vibrant, welcoming community we found in the Skagit valley with many activities and people to help make life full and fun. There are many loving, helpful staff members. The hardest part is the initial adjustment and figuring out who to talk to for which needs given high turnover and understaffing at times. Expect to be in close, constant touch with your loved one and advocating for their needs often if they're ill or their condition changes. But I believe this is the best place for our parents. Creekside is a place where I'd be glad to live if I need community and care in the future.

I have found Royalton Place a warm, safe place for my mother who is suffering from dementia. The staff listens to my questions, and concerns, and tries to figure out solutions to help my mother. I've appreciated the medical staff's communication and keeping me abreast of how my mother is doing. I can tell my mother enjoys her caregivers and I have seen their careful attentiveness to her. I really appreciate that.

My reasons for the less than 5 ratings are the following. Overall experience - they are not equipped to support progressive illnesses. Quality of care - The staff is not trained to deal with progressive illnesses and when questioned, I felt a little deceived on ability to care for someone who is rapidly declining. Food - during my Mom's stay, their kitchen staff had quit and they had untrained team members cooking for the residents just to get them fed. Now, with all of that said...the staff was amazing (with exception of one med tech)...they tried to accommodate my moms needs, but were not staffed or trained to accommodate my moms end of life needs. She went from being functional, with some memory issues and help with meds, with a fresh diagnosis of lung cancer...to full Alzheimer's diagnosis and the cancer advancing quickly, to death in 7 months. I know all of that was not anyone's fault...but as we realized it was progressing quickly, we asked regularly if it was wise to keep her there and we were assured (by both the nursing staff and hospice staff they could support her...they could not. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Cascades for anyone who's loved one is fully independent and able to care for themselves, but just needs a little support or a social setting where there are peers to interact with. I would not recommend if they have a loved one in decline...only because the facility is in no way equipped to support that. Thank you for your services...they were a lifesaver for our family

We had a few issues at the beginning moving her in. Medication was not transfered in a timely manner but i think it was her former residence fault. House keeping was an issie at the begining but improved as soon as they got a new house keeper. Any issues we had are all now resolved wich has resulted in "smooth sailing."

Mountain Glen is a quality place for your mom. We found it to be full of people who would like to help in your attempt to find a suitable place for your mom or loved one. They seem to care about all aspects of your attempt to find a place for your mom or other family member. It’s not always easy to find a place for your parent who is maybe leaving their home for the first time in a long time, but they and the staff go out of their way to help making it a nice new place for mom. I would recommend it.

We were attracted because; One - it was only 7 minutes away from me. Two - their place was very clean and well maintained. Three - there wasn't a lot of turnover of helpers which is important. Four - They administration was extra nice and very receptive to my inquiries. Five - their rooms were slightly larger than other places.

They're friendly and know what to do. They need better quality food, bigger portions, higher standards, more imagination. Apartment sizes here are pretty good, wish the kitchen area was bigger.

Staff are friendly & helpful. I really like the Executive Director, the gal at the front desk, & the business manager-they're all really friendly & helpful. Sometimes communication seems a little lacking-I think that may have more to do with some recent staff turnover. The common areas of the facility still look pretty nice, but they're starting to look a little tired-particularly the carpet. They've told me they have funds for upgrades. They seem to keep everything clean. My Mom's room is quite nice & was clean. The common area is well designed with a large volume, overlooks from above, & plenty of daylighting-quite lovely really. Unfortunately they keep the dining doors to outside alarmed, so residents don't use the beautiful grounds outside much as they're forced to go out the main entry. Food is edible, but they're not going to win any awards for it. Overall, my Mom seems reasonably happy there. But, I think it's a bit spendy for what you get.

Any interaction that I've had with the community has been positive.

Their med management leaves a lot to be desired. Twice now they have run out of one or more of his medications. Always calling me wanting to know if I have a stash here. It’s unnerving to say the least. I provided 3 extra mattress pads and I came in one day and his sheets were soaked and the mattress had no pad on it. Big stain. Mattress is ruined. My other pet peeve is when the empty his catheter bag into the jug they never rinse it out. You can smell stail urine when you enter the room. I have brought this to their attention 3 times.

Heritage Springs is a smaller facility that is only 2 stories with a population of approx 70 assisted care persons and approx. 20 memory care patients. The staff is very caring and hard working. They helped me with moving in and th apartments are quite nice. I believe that the price is reasonable for the facilit size and the amenities provided.

My wife and I are very comfortable here it’s pleasant it’s neat clean and orderly and there are sufficient members and staff to care for everybodyThe area we are in Sparks Nevada is very open and a lot of the services are available we are enjoying living here
