My dad is thriving there, the activities are great, he really looks forward to that and since my dad is physically in really good shape -usually when they take people on activities the men will go and then the women will go- he gets to go on both and he absolutely loves it. The only bad thing is that we're having this great summer and there's no place where he can be outside on his own. We have him in the Lodge in memory care, and there's no place that's actually fenced in so he can be outside; so I can and visit him at least 4 times a wekk and we go out for walks. This is a really great time for me and my dad and I don't have to scold him anymore for the way he's living, this has been the best thing that could have happened for him, he's gaining weight, his getting more cognisant and I couldn't ask for anything more.

Incredibly helpful, and accommodating. Only negative for us is the distance from our home city. Would be difficult to visit often.

It's only been a week since they've been there but it's great. They make the people are coming in feel like individuals. They don't treat their guests as if they're in a big group. They make an effort to find out what they need - they give great personal attention to each resident. We haven't found one staff person who hasn't done this. The general manager and those in charge are constantly present, and we've talked to everyone from management to aides. No one's just sitting behind a desk. I was very impressed that there's an RN on duty full-time in the memory care unit. My father-in-law came from a facility that had many, many, many activities but they were planned for a larger population. Here there are fewer residents but the activities are well-suited to the residents that they have. I was surprised by their administration of drugs to the memory care patients. You have to join their prescription group in order to buy their medications and their prices are much higher than what my in-laws were paying originally. There is an opt-out option though, and the staff was very accommodating when we chose to do so.

We weren't there for very long becuase we had to put my father in memory care so we didn't get a good sense of the activites or care services. We chose it because we were very impressed with the staff and the location. It was kind of our in neighborhood instead of being in town.

Everybody is very friendly. The support staff with the health care - all you have to do is make a call and they're right there for anything you need, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There are lots of activities. The dining room is very nice. I can buy a ticket for $2 or $3 and go gave lunch with my mom. It's kept very clean and smells nice - that's something we noticed when we first walked in. The director there is a very nice man. We had a problem with my mom's air conditioner being too loud. We just told the front desk and they had the whole unitl replaced so she has a whole new air conditioner.

An excellent facility, almost like being at a resort. Lots of stuff to do and people to make friends with.

We chose this community because during our first interaction with the staff here they were very professional and went out of their way to help us. They had availability that fit our situation. The community is really new and they keep it very clean. They also offer private rooms so that was a plus. Joni Keith from A Place for Mom was really understanding and helpful and she followed up with me when she said she would. We are pleased with Royalton Place and would recommend it to anyone.

The main reason we choose “Skagit” was because my brother who was the one that was moving in has limited resources and they had the right price. We were a little worried at first but come to find out that this was the right choice, my brother needed a good place to be and he found it. The people are very friendly and everything is nice and clean. They helped to move my brother from Idaho to here, so when we arrived in the room we were surprised to find out that nothing was unpacked. Come to find out they don’t help you to unpack or set anything up. The food is really good, I have had a couple of meals with my brother their and we both like the food. The common areas indoor and outdoor are nice with plenty of seating. All in all “Skagit Valley” was the right choice for him. My brother is pretty happy here and settling in well.

This was the third facility we toured today. The other two facilities did not meet our expectations. Regency Grand, West Covina, gets a 3 thumbs up for appearance, staff interaction, amenities, appearance of happy residents, engagement of residents, etc. 10+ out of 10! Tiffany knew each resident's name and greeted or chatted with each one she encountered! The dining hall was full of happy diners and the food looked good! I'm taking my parents to Regency Grand on Thursday to see what they think of it.

New 3 yo facility, very clean and cheerful. Has all 3 levels of care. Fab. wellness unit. Saw two one bedroom units - one smaller than the other. Discussed deferred rent program and assistance with VA. Neg's -cost is at the top. Indep Living facility has limited # of one bedrooms available and most times don't have any at all. When AL needed, must move out of Indep Living building to AL building.

This is our first choice and we loved it in many ways, it was professional, organized, open, friendly, great rooms, grounds, layout. This was the best of the best and where we will take my Mom eventually. Gold star!!

Newer and very impressive facility with what appeared to be ample staff. Memory care unit seemed to hold a mix of advanced dementia patients and some not so advanced. Animals on premises to stimulate residents. The facility is clean and maintained very well. Should the need arise for my grandmother to move, this is a place that I would definitely consider.

Really nice, all these places are expensive, but this place is good -

Our fist choice and clearly the top choice from a clinical standpoint. We were impressed with the education of the director, and the marketing person's family member had been at the facility for 3 years. The facility was neat and clean and the patients seemed well-taken care of. After we reviewed 8 locations, we choice this property to provide care to him.

We were given a comprehensive and informative tour by a very accommodating and pleasant young woman, the Director of Community Relations, on VERY short notice late on a Saturday afternoon. She showed us around Creekside's main building and one cottage, gave us all the information we were after (such as costs, availability, amenities, etc.), and sent us off (after 6:00 p.m.!) with literature, a box of See's candies (Valentine's Day nearing), and in all an excellent impression of Creekside.

We had a great tour experience with Cascades of Bremerton (we toured with The Cottage which is the assisted living portion of the facility). It seemed like a very active community and a lot was going on. The room size was also great. Out of the many places that I toured, this one was the month in-depth and I learned the most about assisted living. They also helped me learn what questions I needed to ask on my other tours, they really took their time with me. The reason we did not choose this facility was because they did not have a social security spend-down.

The staff at Waterford Grand are friendly. They are having some problems with staffing, but overall I think my loved one is really happy there.

Magnolia Grand is very nice. It's super clean. The staff are great people. And the food is really good - I've never eaten this good before!
