This is a very caring place for my mom. Everyone is very helpful and truly listen to any feedback we may have. The food is wonderful.

My mother-in-law is doing great, it is as best it can be for her. The staff and everyone is great. The meals and activities are good for the most part. I would recommend the community to a family or friend.

I found the staff at Arbor Village to be extremely helpful, friendly and kind to my mother. My mother loves living at Arbor Village and enjoys all of the activities, the staff and friends she has made there. We couldn't be more pleased with the community and the excellent care they provide.

THe staff at this community are accommodating, caring and friendly. They know my loved ones by name. The nurses are helping with their medication. My father in law is gaining strength as they offer physical therapy. The food is good and they keep the community clean.

One of the main reasons we chose this community is that it is really clean. The rooms look out over the outside garden area. My aunt is able to go out into the securely fenced in garden without a chaperone. I feel they do lack a little in the activities department. The food is good and the community works fairly well with her personal caregivers.

The staff is warm and caring. It is a homey atmosphere. And I feel that my husband is being well cared for, and they strive to meet his needs emotionally as well as physically.

Our parents moved into the Waterford Grand in June 2016 and have been there almost a year already. They have enjoyed all the wonderful features there: the scenic location and wonderful views, the spacious dining area, a comfortable and well designed room, the state of the art exercise facilities, theater room, and all the other elegant interiors. They have also been well served by the employees there. Their room is cleaned by courteous aids, they have regular health checks, and other aids have provided assisted care in their home. They have enjoyed the meals, and have been happy that the chef also regularly meets with residents for input. They have participated in the many special events and regular activities, and have begun to form friendships. All the employees have been very friendly and helpful, and responsive when there is a need. They have found that the Waterford Grand is not perfect as it is experiencing “growing pains”. When they moved in the facility was just over 1/3 full, and now it is over 2/3 full. There have been staff turnovers, staff still learning or figuring out their jobs and other changes along the way. However through it all we have seen the staff at the Waterford Grand consistently strive to be better while maintaining the utmost courtesy and kindness. This speaks highly of the leadership and the ethics of the organization. I would say the Waterford Grand is “moving from four to five stars” as it is consistently growing from one of the very good senior facilities into what may become the best facility in the area.

My experience at Cascades of Grass Valley has been very positive. The staff is very personable and they show a lot of warmth and love towards the residents. Mom has been living there and I have asked her if she enjoys living there and if she likes the staff, and her answer has been, " I think so." I appreciate that they like to let the residents participate in the cleaning and daily upkeep of the common room. Mom enjoys helping out the staff when she can. She also likes and cares about her roommate. Over all, my experience is positive.

Our experience with Bend Villa Retirement has been a very good one! I've heard nothing but good things from my loved one! The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff sound friendly and caring.

I'm the daughter in law and I was very pleased with the services. They are constantly cleaning. She just moved in in May and she is a widower. The food is good and the people are friendly.

Brother-in-law not there very long but we were glad to have had him transferred from nursing home before he died. It made it so much better for my sister who was being given runaround by nursing home. Alpine recognized what was best for whole family & were assertive about making that happen.

It's a very nice place. My mom has a lovely room. They offer activities. They have exercise and lots of music. I think she could use more guidance. Sometimes it's hard to find a parking spot but I don't mind walking a little. The communication with the staff has been good most of the time, but sometimes I have to push. Basically, I am happy with this facility. I would recommend the Regency Park. It's a nice place overall.

They have done everything pretty well. The only thing that I would recommend would be to have more of an orientation type thing where we can understand what covers what, what exactly we are paying for, and just a little more detail. That is the only thing I can think of that they could do better. Other than that it has been a very good experience. Overall I can say sincerely that my brother who is staying there has improved a ton and is doing very well at Cascades of the Sierra.

They are doing a pretty good job. It's very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. They take good care of my parents. The food isn't as good as the place they were before, but it's not bad either.

Our mother has only been at Royalton about a month, so, a few of my ratings are still not fully formed, but, overall we chose Royalton after visiting several other highly recommended facilities for several reasons. The first being based upon my first impression. The entrance is both secure and welcoming, Tastefully decorated and very neat and tidy. Greeted at the front desk, the assisted living Lobby and lovely dining area resemble an inviting restaurant, well laid out to accommodate both residents and their guests with the ambience of a beautiful fireplace and low music playing softly. Everyone looked comfortable and cheerful. The staff was helpful, polite, and seemed to possess compassionate, and educated demeanors, all seemed to be very well natured and very aware of each resident's personal needs. The private wing for Memory care was/is secure, and very clean. I liked the fact that the facility is not over populated and the staff seems devoted, attentive, and quite aware of the unique, and the various natures that Alzheimers and Dementia patients experience. It is a heart warming feeling to know that my mother is safe, secure, and in the care of people who are educated in dealing with this devastating and heart wrenching disease. It is also reassuring to know that our family is welcome at any time and are encouraged to be involved in our loved ones life and care.

My mom moved in this month and LOVES it. Everyone is very friendly and she feels very safe and welcomed. She says she no longer feels lonely. It was a great move for her.

Overall things have gone fairly well at Cascades of the Sierra! The facility itself is absolutely fantastic, it is a great looking place, and always well kept and clean. The food here is wonderful! The head chef is a terrific guy, and has become close friends with my Dad. We have had a few difficulties, however. The billing process could be a lot smoother, there has been some confusion as to items on the bill as well as the bill being sent to the wrong address. They also could use more staff in the evenings. I've noticed a few confused residents wandering in the hall in the evenings when there are less staff, and I've felt like I have to stop and help them myself more than once.

My loved one lives here. He likes all the help that he is getting, so that seems to be working out. It is also close to another family members home, so it makes visiting or stopping by if he needs anything very convenient.
