Brookdale

It's been great. The staff is attentive and was very helpful with the move. I hesitate to name anyone in particular because I don't want to miss someone, but [names removed], the med techs, [name removed], and the dining staff are great. The food is delicious and there are plenty of choices. The apartment is larger than Dad expected and it's comfortable. Temperature control is definitely a plus for Dad. Laundry and housekeeping are good, too. His first month has gone smoothly and he's quite content.

This is a nice small facility with a good family feel. The nurses, caregivers, dining staff, housekeeping, maintenance are all attentive to the patient’s needs. Activities offered are fun and inviting.

The attendants take an interest in learning about the residents as people as well as any special needs. Friendly, positive attitudes, weekly entertainment, know the regular visitors by name. My mom was mostly non-responsive, eyes closed, and not speaking when she arrived at Brookdale. On entertainment day about a week or two after her arrival, a country singer was singing Brown Eyed Girl" and [name removed] (an attendant) asked if there were any brown eyed girls and I pointed to my mom. [name removed] came over to her grabbed her hand, rubbed the back of it while gently shaking it, and spoke loudly to her, "you know you live to dance." My mom's eyes popped open, she smiled, and got up and my mom's eyes popped and I danced with her until the end of the song. She was back to being Mom. Something [name removed] said triggered my mom to "wake up" and be communicative again for the first time since about 6 months before arriving at Brookdale and she remained herself until she passed.

The sincere friendliness of the staff and leadership team. They volunteer the offer of help and assistance instead of having to ask. These are big differences from the previous assisted living facility where we had our loved one.

The facility is very clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful and keep you updated on what's going on [name removed] is great and and [name removed] always seems to be on top of anything that needs repaired and helping get my mom moved there all great people there. The rooms are good we got the smaller of the 2 and my mom said there is always something to do there I haven't been able to get to any of there music night or anything yet.

We are very pleased with Brookdale. Any issues so far are my brother's own doing. I'm not on scene but my younger brother is and he has been very positive in his comments. We would definitely recommend them.

The staff really work to serve each resident! I'd tell new folks: be patient -- acclimatization takes time. The nurses are exceptional in their care.

5 on all categories. However, wife had to leave. She then fell and broke her hip. Had surgery which was successful. Taken to Liberty Heights skilled nursing for rehab. It's extraordinarily excellent care there. I rate Liberty Heights skilled nursing a 6-7 on your scale in all categories. Truly exceptional! Family experience excellent and would recommend either. I think Brookdale's assisted living is great and Liberty Heights skilled nursing is awesome.

I think its benefits and I feel cared for. Socialization is good for me. It a really good experience. I like that doctors are on-site.

Even though [name removed] was out for medical leave Brookdale was ready for Dad. His room was ready. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Brookdale Sleepy Hollow to anyone that needs help with a senior member of their family.

Everybody is friendly and very helpful- Cleaning people front desk and caregivers. If someone is sad or hurting a caregiver is there to support and quickly sees how they can help. They are so compassionate. I love that if I'm in my room someone always is there to check on me. They know everyone's name and it impresses me. Everything is so clean too!

Brookdale is my home away to be Independent yet be among people who are friendly and caring. The daily activities from bus outings crafts live entertainment games etc. Are just some of the events I love! 3 meals a day laundry service room cleaning. I could go on I love Brookdale.

My father was only with Brookdale for a couple of weeks before he passed so he was unable to do activities or enjoy food. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

My brother is very happy living at Brookdale Valencia. He feels safe unlike his last apartment which even though it was gated I suspect everyone in Albuquerque had the gate code. Brookdale has a live person opening the gate so are careful about who gets in. He enjoys good food and is quite happy with the menus there and is overjoyed not to have to cook after living alone for the past 50 years. He likes the apartment and having a cleaning service plus the maintenance people have taken care of any issues he's had. Thanks for recommending Brookdale, it's perfect for [name removed]

My mom has been a resident at Brookdale for three wonderful years and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The food is great I've eaten with her multiple times. The staff is truly excellent. For family night events they go all out to make those occasions special. We are so thankful for the care and joy they provide her. At first, she wanted a 2 bedroom but the 1 bedrooms are a lot larger than we realized. The location is great it’s tucked away off Grand River so there is not a lot of general traffic. Just about everything is covered in her rent except cable TV and telephone. They are simply the best and it’s a must-see place for anyone looking.

My grandmother has lived at Lowry for 6 months. She did not want to move from her home but she needed to. Now she has friends, enjoy the meals and loves their outings.

I lived here for 1 year now. I love it food is good. Lots of activities. Staff are very friendly and caring.

My moms best friend moved here and the really likes it. Mom is consider a move as well.

My parents live here it's been 6 months now and we love it. Great place, clean friendly residents and staff members.

It was very open and everyone seemed happy. I loved the atmosphere and also it felt like home. I would recommend Brookdale Palma Sola .
