Brookdale

It is a very nice facility. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The food is great and they have lots of activities for the residents. Overall I have been very pleased with everything.

[name removed] who helped my mom and I was so kind. We thought Brookdale was very nice but because of family complications was not able to take advantage of the apartment that became available.

did not disclose the 11.2% increase in rent after only 7 months...it was implied it was on average about 4% increase. Food has great options with good variety and tasty. Overall, very satisfied and would highly recommend. Yes...just some things that I feel would be of interest to them. My in-laws are very happy at Brookedale.

They were all wonderful everyone treated the residents with dignity, respect, and an incredible amount of patience!!! I highly recommend Tanglewood Oaks to anyone who needs to have loved ones taken care.

I rate this visit five stars. The staff is friendly and smiling when they interacted with me. The activities schedule is well planned and diverse. The facility has many veteran functions which my husband would love. Our dogs and I can visit any time of the day or night. The menu fits the diverse needs of each occupant. The Sales manager and staff are involved in community activities for veterans and dementia related groups. It is a very comfortable setting and occupants seem to be happy there.

The facility was very nice, clean and staffing seemed to be good. I am looking for respite car with more physical therapy options.

The food could be improved. We immediately felt comfortable in Brookdale. Her room is spacious. The administrative staff and the care staff are awesome. The other residents we're welcoming

Large facility. Memory care has 20 apartments and another 13 will soon be available. They’ve been updated and switched from assisted care to memory. Ratio of men to women is 9:11. No phones in the rooms. Alcohol is served for special events. Gluten free food may have to be brought in. No doctor on site, just a PA who sees 85% of the residents. Transportation is provided at no cost on Wednesdays to doctor/dentist, etc. They will send someone with the patient at no cost. The barber comes in weekly. Staff ratio is 1:5 during the day and 1:7 at night. This is an all-inclusive facility, so it includes more than other ones do. Current cost is $[amount removed]/month. They take long-term care insurance, and they have staff to assist with setting that up. Staff will assist with toileting, but they do not change diapers. Laundry does not need to be marked – it is done separately for all individuals. All rooms have an outside view. Memory care has 2 large gathering spaces and 1 small one. There is a TV.

I really couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm a bit of a mess, trying to sort through all of the emotions and information. The sales manager was an angel, so patient and compassionate. She really took the time to answer my many questions and has been readily available when I've called, with more questions! I was very impressed with her knowing the residents by name, as well as the other employees we met in the memory care wing during my tour. I'm feeling so much less anxiety about placing my mother in their care.

Everyone at Brookdale is happy and it is just a fun place to be. I walk in the door to visit Mom And everyone's shouting out hi to me and I'm usually laughing within a few minutes. They all truly seem happy to be there and serving the residents. The director, [name removed] is very detail oriented and has high expectations. The facility is immaculate, decorated for every changing holiday, and she expects the caregivers to give the best care. She wants every employee to have a personal relationship with the residents so from the cooks to maintenance to cleaning to caregivers they all have developed a personal relationship with my mom. My mom needs a lot of care and although they're meeting her needs, I feel Brookdale's monthly care fee on top of rent is too high for the care she is receiving.

The people. It always comes down to the people and they have some of the best I have met of the last three places my mom has been.

The staff was incredibly great, my aunt in law was not there long, but it was such a nice experience. We highly recommend Brookedale Troy. The general manager and sales rep were above and beyond helpful. The staff truly cared for her. I have zero complaints. Its pricey, but if you can afford it its absolutely worth every penny.

Very satisfied with facility and staff. Always ready to answer any questions. Lots of activities for those wanting to participate.

The lovely atmosphere with all services contained from beauty, good food in restaurant setting or in room to physical therapy in room or gym where you can join as a group also for walking club and lastly in house hospice. All needs met and Dad felt like he was in a 5 star hotel with angels looking over him.

I will tell what I have at Brookdale South Bay. Every holiday is very well celebrated. Decorations, events, magic shows, special daily outings. You name it. Appointments are also provided. With transportation just follow the appointment Rules which is only fair. Space space how else could they arrange it? I do attend whenever possible because it's always fun.

The staff at Brookdale are overall very caring and kind to both residents and families. They do all they can to make residents feel that this is their home and that they are important. They try to educate the staff as new situations come up. My loved one has aphasia and when he moved in, they did not have any other residents with aphasia. They had a training for staff on how to care for aphasia patients
