Brookdale

Brookdale is an amazing place with amazing people who work there. I would recommend it to anyone. I can't say enough about the people that work there. They went far and above to help me and my Mom.

The staff. The ambience and the quality of the food are the main things that stick out about Brookdale Potomac.

Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful. The residents we met were cheerful. It seems like a lovely place to be.

It was like waking into a resort. We loved that the property is secure. The staff and all residents we met were so engaging.

Staff is very dedicated. Communicate with ma all the time. They assist residents with celebrating all holidays and send me pictures of my mom. Food is wonderful. Fresh cooked. Staff keeps residents active with games, hobbies, walks and exercising. My mom is in memory care and has a large bedroom with a sitting area. Mom is happier at Brookdale.

My Mother loves the place! Everything they do is great and the staff is A+++

The staff is awesome at managing my dad. He can be quite difficult and they have been wonderful!! It's clean and doesn't smell like institutional cleaners. Dad has his own bathroom and his suite is nice sized. Everyone is nice and they keep us informed about anything dad does.

The professionalism is outstanding! Love the information and all our questions were answered! Felt very welcomed!

Brookdale Brighton, [name removed] has the friendliest staff and residents! The lobby and dining room are open floorplan and beautifully decorated, especially on holidays. The staff is extremely organized. If you need something or have a question you only have to ask once and you get a reply. They are very open and honest if there's an issue, or anything you need to be made aware of. If you drop your wallet, it's returned with everything intact. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The halls are wide and long and perfect for those who like to walk. The optional, extra services available onsite are very convenient. The communication is excellent. The food is good quality and your plate is brought out hot from the kitchen. Activities, entertainment, movies, gym, salon, worship, pianos, caregivers, cat room, bus available. The peace of mind is worth every penny. Staff works hard to make this place like home for your loved one!

The friendliness and servant attitude of the entire facility from maintenance to food servers, nurses, etc... was the difference maker for us. Also the fact that they offered additional levels of care as needed. Basically our loved one would never have to move from there.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind to everyone! The facility was lovely and well kept too!

My sister in law loves this community, the Wednesday outings, and the daily socialization.

He was only in for respite care for 10 days. But would rate a 5. They are very caring, keep clients active, clean, friendly staff.

My brother was there as a hospice patient but I observed first rate performance! I found that the marketing staff was very attentive to our needs and often stepped in to make sure all was good even after moving in. The facility is well maintained and short waits for service requests,

The staff, food, atmosphere are all 1st class. There is NO reason not recommend Brookdale North. I don't know anything about the other Brookedale's.

My mom started at the assisted-living building and now she has moved over to the Memory Care building. Both buildings are wonderful. Memory Care building is very homey. All the aides and nurses are wonderful as well.

Our experience with A Place for Mom and with Brookdale Manlius is 5 stars! APFM was so responsive. The navigators understood our needs and worked quickly to assist us. Our Mom fell and broke her hip in December '25. Upon her return home, became immediately obvious that she could no longer stay safely at home. We called APFM and within a week our Mom was moving in at Brookdale Manlius. Brookdale Manlius is fantastic! Mom loves her spacious apartment, the professional, happy staff and the wonderful healthy food. All areas of the building are clean and inviting. We are so grateful for your help and for our Mom's safety and happiness. Thank you.

The family atmosphere that was always present at the facility. The care was exceptional, and everyone was so very friendly. It made mine and my husband's experience so much better. Even though my husband passed away in September I still miss a lot of the people that were there.

The assisted living side I found very warm and inviting Activities personal amazing. So many warm and caring individuals. Nurses cnas individuals in restaurants and even maintenance and cleaners

Completely impressed -the nurse who gave me the tour was outstanding!!!! She was wonderful with the residents and explained everything about about the facility- I believe her name was [name removed] and had worked there for 18 years. I absolutely was sold and was going to recommend the facility. The person that I wanted to stay there had a significant turn in health and has to be on skilled nursing. Very clean, just very nice - I will recommend to others.
