Brookdale

Very nice but to expensive of a down payment to move in.... it is very nice place and would love to live there.

My 95 yr old grandmother spent her entire life helping others. She has dementia & is still learning how to accept help. After she fell at home we had no idea what to do. We toured several facilities. Brookdale Salina Fairdale stood out above the rest from the moment we called to inquire about a tour. Both [names removed] have the most phenomenal experience and knowledge of anyone in their field. They work extremely hard to make sure my grandmother literally has everything she needs to become stronger and more cognitively aware. The nursing staff is attentive, caring, and above all they love each other and what they do. They do it all with a smile and so much patience! She is never hurried & they communicate with each other constantly so she receives the most tailored care available daily. I still cannot believe the amazing whirlpool experience she had recently. “Thank you” is simply not enough. [names removed] are amazing!

What we like the most about the community is The overall staff. The person who runs the front desk. Overall cheery environment. Family nights. [name removed] the cook

Very welcoming to my mother - made her feel at home right away. She loves the activities each day and the fact she gets to go on walks each day. Staff are friendly and cater to her special diet needs.

My father is 93 and active has been in memory care at Clarbridge Brookdale for 2 years. I credit his incredible health due to the outstanding care given by all the staff especially [names removed]. There are many outings planned - yesterday we went to a New Orleans Restaurant to celebrate Mardi Gras. [names removed] made it so fun for the residents! The housekeeping always ensures the rooms and laundry is always clean and bedding changed frequently. Meals are amazing with each one including vegetables and high quality protein. It's delicious as evidenced by all the clean plates at the end of the meals. Most importantly, each resident is addressed by name, treated with respect, and the staff knows all about them. This is truly a 20 out of ten facility!

Our loved one did not like the food or participate in the activities. The living space and friendliness of the staff is what we like the most, but I guess the food would be the least and could be improved on. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families! My mom loved it there, but we just couldn't afford it long-term

My biggest complaint is having to wait on staff to let you in and out of the main entrance. I've waited patiently as long as fifteen minutes before someone came by to let me in or out of the building. It would be so nice if they would give each room a specific code so we could let ourselves in or out and allow the staff to be about their jobs without constant interruptions.

They brought my sister from the hospital and set her up for hospice. Expedited making her have home at Brookdale. Incredibly effectively and very lovingly.

5 for all above mentioned categories, it's a very clean and well-run place. The staff is friendly and conscientious, many activities for everyone. The eating facilities are set up like a restaurant, and the food is really great. I love this place and although my dad is still settling in (doesn't want to give up any independence) he has made friends and likes the staff much. We couldn't be more pleased with this choic !!

My wife and I have been at Brookdale Cypress Lake since beginning of [date removed]. We are very impressed with the experience and dedication of all members of the staff. People love working here and it shows! Executive Director, [name removed], is the impetus behind the employee’s contentment. Her open door policy, I think, is the key to her success! [name removed], Sales Manager, is also an asset to Brookdale. She is a very likable and knowledgeable person striving for the best experience for the future residents. We toured other Senior Living locations and came to a final decision: Brookdale Cypress Lake is the best of them all!!

I have had experience with different care homes and I would say Brookdale rates high above the rest. I can REST assure my loved one has the best care.

A great place, the staff are friendly and caring even when the residents are grumpy like my father can be from time to time due to his disease. They make him feel at home and at ease when he becomes difficult and also interact with him when he is in a good mood. The staff really makes sure that all the patients have the best care possible. I am so glad that we found this place for my dad.

We moved Mom in within a week of touring Brookfield Manlius. She’s happy and healthy! Within the first day Mom was settled and felt comfortable. Thanks!

My dad has been at Brookdale since November, and his physical and mental health have improved sooo much. They care for him like family but better. They ensure he is active and well taken care of at all times. They learned what makes him happy and what doesn't and work with him. He is a tough guy, but loves the staff. They told us to let them take care of him and allow ourselves to be the kids again. Thank you Brookdale for giving me my dad back.

That the family is the best advocate for the care their parent receives. Get to know the staff. Let them see you. Be honest with them concerned with costs or lack of social programs. The staff at Brookdale is very good. And they are even better when you engage in frequent conversations. Also, Brookdale is not a senior country club. It is a safe place where seniors can receive care, develop friendships and have some independence. until they need more care.

I closely know the entire staff by name. And, they know mine. Because Brookdale Roanoke is small, the residents get one on one care. There are no elevators, alarms do not go off if a Resident wants to walk outside. The food is amazing! I had dinner there last night for my mother's 82nd. Birthday. My mother is happy and safe. She says this. She also gives tours to potential new residents. She says...this is her house! Also...the daily activities are great. The residents are not encouraged to stay in their rooms and just watch TV

The cleanliness...very quick to assist dad...they a pharmacy on sight. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

The staff is very friendly and they are very good with the patient specially since my father-in-law has dementia he is at that difficult stage and they're very patient with him, if something happens they contact us immediately. And I love that it's so clean. So homey, it's like a home that they can just go wherever they want to go in the building with supervision, well the memory care is smaller space, but still they can go walk around.

I recently toured Brookdale and was very impressed with what I saw. [name removed] answered each of my questions thoroughly and made me feel very welcome. I appreciated how friendly everyone was and was impressed with the number of staff present as I walked through the building.
