Bonaventure

The executive director at North Creek is absolutely fabulous, and based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to others families.

There has been a couple of minor issues here and there but we have nothing but great things to say about the staff members. Everything is very clean and as you would expect. the meals and dining service is the primary area that is suffering which is because of the staffing issues but they are doing their best. The activities seem reasonably good, but our loved one is starting to show signs of memory loss so sometimes she forgets about what activities go on.

On our initial tour everybody was very friendly and we needed to get our loved one moved in fairly quickly and the staff members really bent over backwards for us. They just went above and beyond to accommodating our needs and get everything lined up.

We enjoy living in BV. Vancouver. It is a very nice and safe community and easy accessibility to stoves, tanks, hospitals, shopping malls, and restaurants. The staff working here are friendly and efficient. The residents are nice and we feel like home here!

This is a nice clean community for us and could be for your loved one. They have Medicare conversion and this is very hard to find at all of the communities this was one of my biggest selling points. The interactions that I have had so far with the staff have been good.

The assisted living rooms at Bonaventure are very nice. The place is like a showcase. But I didn't see many people out and about. And they also didn’t have a Medicaid spend down option, so it would not have been affordable for our family long-term.

Our loved ones seem to really be enjoying the meals and dining service so far. They have had some health issues which has prevented them from doing the activities, but from what we have seen they look great. Based on our experience so far we would recommend this community to others.

The first day I checked my friend in here, they went on lockdown due to Covid. But overall, they've really done their best to keep themselves staffed and provide the best service to their residents. There have been bumps, mostly because of staffing, everything from maintenance to wait help. But they've made a good effort in hiring people, and they're almost up to full staff I think. Overall, it's a very good property. It's a little over a year old, and very clean. They have a lot of amenities built in, like an exercise room with state-of-the art exercise equipment, and a movie theater. There's plenty to keep the residents busy if they wish to be. I think the food is excellent as well.

The director is wonderful. She is enthusiastic and loves her work. She's highly involved in the daily care of the residents. My dad loves the food. Some things tend to be a little bit pre-prepared, but overall it's good. They've struggled with staffing, but that's a pandemic struggle that everybody has had. I think overall they do a really good job there. The one place they could improve would be communication with families. And I think that ties back in to the staffing issues. It just prevents them from communicating appropriately with the families.

Bonaventure was very beautiful, definitely a luxurious place. The tour was great and the food that they serve here is gourmet. It was just not going to be the best fit for our loved one.

I think this is a great place to be. My loved one was in assisted living and they did everything they could to help and provide as much service as they could to him however, this facility just did not work for his needs. all the services that my loved one needed. They would always answer my questions and were there for me to train me with any help I needed.

The facility is newer and very nice and will tailor a care plan to your individual needs. They are working hard on the staff and trying to fill positions. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

I think it's an excellent place. I think my loved one is in a really good place - she's happy and active. They charge for individual things, like laundry for example. Which is fine. But I've been there a number of times where it's not done and she's running out of clothes. Nothing major at all, I just wish they would be on top of that a little better. The staff is super friendly. They listen to me when I have issues, and they correct them. Overall I would definitely recommend them.

Staff is very friendly, helpful and understanding. Facility is clean and uncluttered. Lots of activities going on. Excellent menu! We picked this facility for my 93 year old father who needs extra care.

I would go visit and see for yourself to see if it's a fit. The community makes an effort to take care of the residents. My friend wishes there would be more residents to interact with in the community. The communication with the staff is great.

Our loved one was only there for a short period of time, but it was a good facility. With the value, you get the care that you need, and fortunately social security paid the entire time. We would recommend hospice if needed. Our experience with the care takers and hospice they had everyday was great.

The community can be very noisy due to traffic. They have lots of food options and they have a huge variety and even have a vegetarian option. I would recommend this community to others. I would like to see housekeeping improve and more deep cleaning done.

They are having staffing issues. by having staff quit If you have a lot of money, and are willing to keep asking questions to management then this maybe the place for your loved one. Breakfast is being delivered to the residents rooms at 11 am.

We chose Park Vista because of the location, the staff members, and they were very helpful with getting her in and they told us if we had any issues with finances down the road, we could transition to medicaid and they would help. The room sizes here seem adequate. I would definitely recommend.

We chose Cedar Ridge because it is a facility secluded back in the woods and we liked scenery. The room sizes here are good, they do also have options you are able to choose from. He was in a studio with a large bathroom and now is in a 1 bedroom and it is great size. The food could use improvement, he says the flavor is the bland due to dietary restrictions. I would recommend to others looking.
