Our #1 choice because of affordability and Medicaid will take over after pay down. Suzi was really great in helping us to get the costs down. In-laws are visiting tomorrow to see if they like it and will work for them.

If your loved one is independent living it would be a good place for your loved one. If they need more assisted living, then I wouldn't recommend this community. The community seems to be understaffed; however, the staff that are there are very friendly to my loved one and to me when I call.

It is a great place to live and it is very friendly The food is terribly and they don't provide balanced meals. The food is greasy, dried up, and not appetizing or appealing at all.. I feel they are not responsive to complaints about the food. We chose this company for the value, location, and apartment configuration. I would recommend this community but beware the food terribly.

Location was a big factor in our decision making process. It was close to family. It fit into our desired price point. My sister was at Bonaventure of Castle Rock for about three months. She had no complaints.

My mom really likes Park Vista retirement community. She has been living there for 4 months and wants to stay.

Our dad has lived at Gibson Creek for two years. My brothers and I really appreciate the staff who take care of him and the way they relate to him. They do a terrific job. There are lots of activities to take part in, though he doesn't participate, but he does enjoy the entertainers that come in. The staff has worked with us to try to accommodate our dad's increasing needs.

My mother has been at park vista for 3 months. For the most part it is good. However we have been having to provide toilet paper has there is never any, her hair brushes and tooth brush, paste are often missing, her glasses broken. The food is mostly good but sometimes very difficult to eat and too much. She is in the memory care area of the facility. My mom says she is lonesome and is in bed sleeping a lot but that might be because she refuses to go to any of the activities park vista provides.

Over all its going well My mom has settled in pretty good. However she seems sad and is lonely. I know there are other folks in the facility she can visit with but she is in memory care and cant really carry on a conversation with them. My moms memory is not good either but she can still visit. Often when I come to visit she is in her room just sitting or asleep. It makes me very sad. She needs more interaction and something to do. For someone who has worked hard all her life then wind up just waiting to die is very disheartening. The food for the memory care folks is pretty awful.

I was very impressed with the whole facility during the tour and meeting administrative staff. Four stars only because my father didn't have a chance to live there.

The staff is very friendly. The facility is clean.

[Name removed] confirmed availability of a Respite care room available for my brother. Sent a van to bring my brother from the motel he was staying (he was there for two months!) Set him up for utilization of all facility amenities. Confirmed move in date [date removed]. Coordinated placement of PODS container with me and allowed PODS to remain in the loading dock area over the weekend to unload possessions into brothers room. Assistance was much appreciated. Only issues is the connection of communication equipment (telephone, cable box and WiFi access.) Been a week and still not connected. Not a priority as computers, TV and phone access available but still an inconvenience.

This may be the one since my mom knows someone here. Might not be perfect for long-term dementia care but it is a really nice place! We could see her being very happy here.

Toured alone on Saturday, Nov 18. The apartments are fantastic. Lots of room in the bathroom, kitchenette is just the right size. Large closets and large rooms, Doors easy to negotiate. Two large dining rooms were bustling with people and the place smelled nice. New carpeting in the units. Lots of amenities that might interest mom. Will go back for full tour Tuesday, Nov 21.

My husband and I haven’t made a decision yet but when we toured this facility, we were treated very well. All of the staff members were very nice and pleasant to deal with. We got to try the food and it seemed fine. The facility itself looked fine and seemed kept up with.

I loved this facility. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is all of the pictures of the residents in the halls. It's from when they were younger and it was very nostalgic in a good way. They had little mock gift shop fronts in the halls as well. No one would ever get bored here. There are so many places to go and look around. It was really lovely. It's so big, open and friendly. The only bad part I have to say is that it's expensive and they have a large community fee. The other big issue is that they don't work with Medicaid. Without the pricing, I would definitely recommend this community.

This place is more of modern "resort" feel. Larger, newer and gets lots of light.

In looking at communities we had set criteria for them to meet and this community met them all. The biggest one was my dad was able to bring his cat with him and this is a pet-friendly community which worked out well so well that they have let us build an outside cage for the cat to go outside and get fresh air when he wants to. The staff is friendly here very nice. My dad is physically not able to do much of the activities but he enjoys visiting with the residents especially at meal time. he loves the food. We really are impressed with the community so far.

Mom likes the people at this community. She likes the activities and has even gone on some outings. The food is ok, however she does get tired of it sometimes. The community is very nice. The staff have been helpful and mom seems to enjoy living here.
