Bonaventure

I think Spring Creek is a good place, and I would use them again. I have recommended them to others. They served sandwiches for dinner. The activities were available, I think they could have encouraged my husband to participate more. The only people enjoying the activities were people able to join in without encouragement . This is memory care and not everyone there was capable of deciding to join.

So far it has been a good experience. I would recommend to others.

My rent for 2 bedroom apartment is going from[removed]. I am not happy about that. Almost 400 a month increase. We are short staffed on kitchen and servers frequently. But staff is friendly and most residents are friendly too. I would like to see a weekly church service available. We had a once a month pastor come in, but now he is not coming. It is sad as many here cannot drive any more and don't care for just watching a service on line. We have a bus and Bonaventure advertised having transportation to local churches but it doesn't happen. We're oftentimes short of a bus driver. That is also difficult for those with doctor appointments. We have meetings to address problems but the solutions are limited. I am sorry to report anything negative but it is happening. I really like Bonaventure on the whole. I like my apartment. Our housekeeping staff are great. Our chef is excellent when he is here. It's just the substitute cooks that appear to not be trained very well. The kitchen and dining room staffing problems I hear are happening at other facilities too. I guess it is hard to keep staff when wages are low or hours are only part time.

Very friendly. Seems like they are short staffed. Great value for the money compared to others. Great location as well.

Silver Creek was wonderful. Unfortunately my mother stay did not work out with them. She's actually staying in there sister facility of theirs. They we're very helpful. They made the transition for her, very smooth and myself as I live out of state they were very accommodating to me and my mother. I wish she could've stayed there, but unfortunately, under the circumstances of dementia, she was moved to memory care, Bonaventure Lacey.

A lot of turnover in nursing staff. One nurse that was less friendly and helpful left facility but then returned. General staff turnover was high. New director not as friendly and helpful as previous.

My loved one is currently a resident at Bonaventure of Thornton and the overall experience has been good so far. The cleanliness, friendliness and staff have been great. The only disappointment is the lack of staff and the high turnover of staff. Also, promises made before signing are not always met.

The overall experience we have had with Bonaventure has been good. We have had a bit of trouble getting some things done. For instance our air conditioner isn't working well and we have had some delays in getting it corrected. Everything seems clean but we have had dirty utensils a few times. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful! We haven't needed any care so I really don't think I can rate this. We have been impressed with the quality of cooking and meals here. Although I am very disappointed that they have no gluten free options for me. There are some things that are naturally gluten free I can eat but many of the meals are out for me. I think I will get pretty tired of eating the same things over and over again. The dining experience is fantastic and the people that do the serving are very impressive! We haven't had a chance to participate in any activities yet since we haven't gotten totally moved in yet. I am looking forward to participating in many activities when we get settled. Value for cost - I am not sure about this yet. We are still paying a house payment and all of the utilities plus the cost of Bonaventure. I feel that Bonaventure is a little high priced but hopefully we will get a lot for our money when we get there for good.

Staff at the top 3 positions turns over often. Other staff are friendly and efficient. Facility is attractive, clean and maintained. They need more options on meals, more seasoning, lunch is the big meal, dinner is lighter, flip this would be better.

Everyone was so great. An overall outstanding experience. Staff are kind and helpful at every turn. The community is beautiful and activites keeps everyone busy. I enjoy everytime I get to visit there.

My loved one was previously a resident at North Creek for a brief time. North Creek was a beautiful place and the staff were very friendly. However, assisted Living did not work out for my loved one, I ended up having to bring him back home.

Bonadventure is a nice, clean place. The employees are kind and helpful. They offer activities for those who choose to partake. I would recommend this facility to others. It is important to stay on top of what they are doing vs. the family. We do the laundry some of the time, sometimes it is done for us, etc. We visit frequently and I think that is important and necessary.

Based off of our experience living at Bonaventure Tri Cities, we would recommend the facility to others looking for retirement living. We will be moving to [facility name removed] once finished though. Now that we can do our own cooking and cleaning and save some money.

I would and actually have already recommended Olympic Place Retirement and Assisted Living to others. My dad loves the housekeeping service. The food is excellent! The staff are very friendly! It has been a very good experience, so far.

My loved ones were residents at Bonaventure of Medford. The staff have always been very friendly and very communicative whenever there was an issue. The move in was process was good. I would recommend the facility to others.

I would recommend Bonaventure because the overall caregiving was very good. I had my favorites and was sad when they left for other opportunities. But no matter who took care of my mom, they were very professional and I could tell that they cared for my mom. The staff kept me updated on things going on with mom even if it was late in the evening. It took a few months for the long term care insurance issues to fall into place, but it did eventually. I think that the one thing that was frustrating was that once my mom had moved in, the communication with both the Executive Director and Assistant Executive Director had kind of fallen by the wayside in that replies to my emails were not answered very much so whenever I went to visit mom, I would drop by their office if they were there and get my questions answered. But aside from that, I was happy with the care and the professionalism the staff exhibited. They checked in with my mom a lot, despite being very busy.

The staff are all very friendly and kind. They have made my mother feel right at home. Communication between myself and the staff is always good as we view mom's care as a partnership between us and them. I would recommend Bonaventure without reservation.

Turn over on staff is high, but they are constantly trying to train and hire. Assisted living is a little lacking due to high turnover, so as a family member, it helps for us to be involved in my mother's care . There are a lot of activities that are great for those not mobility challenged, but limited if in wheelchairs. I do love that family is invited for dinners and activities that we do not have to pay for !

Our choices were limited because we wanted a place that would allow him to smoke but after a year I think we'd have gone with them anyhow because the facility is new and nice and the amenities are great. I would recommend to others.I'd say the staff are very nice and friendly and that my Dad likes it there.
