Staff is always helping us find our mom. Very helpful. Very responsive. Handles requests for mom's care.

I think the facility is great given that memory care is such a hard place to work in and find staffing, the staff that is on site seems to care quite a bit. For my own personal experience with my father, he seems to be adjusted and cared for well and I do love our in-house nursing staff that is coming in, so I'm just grateful for where he is right now.

The staff is among the best I've seen. They're personally committed to every resident and to the smooth and pleasant operation of the facility. I'm thoroughly impressed!

I think family who are looking for a happy place where they are always striving to make things more fun and tend to your needs. They have new resident orientations, town halls to ask questions and requests along with addressing problems and concerns. They work with the families, residents and staff continually striving to improve everyone's quality of life.

In answer to the previous question about the staff...I love that they all knew my mom's name and said hi to her by name right away. That impressed us all.

I see my mom at least five days out of the week. I always go a different times because I've always got my eye out on what they're doing and what they're not. I think any facility your loved ones are in there are things that don't get done. fortunately for me They know I come around and I think my mom gets probably better treatment than most. I advocate for my mom all the time and I worry about people there that don't have somebody that does that for them. Putting your loved one in a facility doesn't mean that they take care of everything because they don't. I get very frustrated sometimes because we spend a lot of money and I feel as though they should do more, but I've learned over this last year to pick my battles. On a positive note I have to say most of the people there are very nice to my mom and she likes living there. She made friends with a group of ladies and there are some really nice people that live there. I believe it's overpriced for what you get, but they're all basically the same price I've done my checking around.

The team in memory care are very compassionate. Rooms are single occupancy and range from comfortable to generous. Currently there is a vacancy in the activity director position in memory care, and the activities are directed by the person in the position. Historically the activity has been varied and appropriate for age and stage of disease/disability

There were some challenges with "move in" but they were eventually overcome. There are not many activities as I had hoped but my parents enjoy the socializing at meals more than anything. I wish it was a Medicaid step down facility. Overall, my parents are very happy there.

What I like the most about Bonaventure is that the care staff is great, friendly and caring. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The staff is ready friendly and kind to the residents. The place is clean and looks nice! The residents do crafts and games. My grandmother really enjoys being there and has made friends. I would have given a 5 star, but communication isn't the greatest. I find that email isn't their strong suit and calling is better.

As difficult as paring down one’s possessions is for a move to a safer place to live, it can be done. My family got me here and the staff has gotten me settled in. My dog and I have been welcomed enthusiastically and treated with respect. I’ve had an opportunity to observe the care in the Assisted Living area and been impressed with the care that is available. Even with the inclement weather we have experienced over the last week, the walks have been kept safe for us!

We were attracted to them because of the appearance and friendliness. I would recommend to others. I feel it was a bit on the expensive side for being assisted living and what they had to do for my mother but everyone and I mean everyone was very friendly.

My sister in law recently moved into independent living at Bonaventure, will soon be moving to assisted living. I live out of state and was there to help her get settled. All of the staff have been so helpful. We had a million questions, and all were answered promptly. [name removed]and [name removed] always have smiles on their faces, and obviously love their jobs. The dining room was always full of laughter, residents very friendly, and anxious to give us tips. We found the food to be very good, and the soup and salad bar always fresh, and a nice option. I speak to my SIL daily, and she continues to like Bonaventure. Thank you for making this hard transition as comfortable as possible!!

We chose Park Vista Bonaventure because of the location, friendly staff, the ease of access to the elevator and uncomplicated hallways.

We made new friends our first evening here at dinner. Menu choices are very good. There are a wide variety of activities to choose from. Many outing to choose from as well. The staff are all welcoming and cheerful.

Pay attention to services that are "offered", but not currently staffed. (A barber/hair stylist was offered, but since moving in (date removed) have yet to see one). We are having issues with getting a credit applied for the 2 weeks the room was not acceptable to live in. Food quality has gone down since my dad moved in... House keeping was supposed to be weekly, and so far has been more like every 2 weeks after making complaints.

Mom really likes the staff she works with but gets frustrated with the turnover. I am guessing that there is turnover at every facility. There are several key staff members for Mom that have been stable for the last couple years, so I am pleased about that. They do seem to have a lot of turnover in the kitchen and the quality is up and down.

The activities are limited! It enough people want to participate. That is not Bonaventure’s vault! There isn’t very many independent residents! The food is ok but I would like to see more variety! The staff are very friendly and helpful!

High staff turnover. Had some good people, just not long term employment. A good chef on staff and good servers too. The management doesn't always give good information to the residents.

I would probably recommend it to others. The only other comment would be is I believe it is under staffed. I picked them because of the openness of the apartment. It has an open airy to it and also it had small but adequate kitchen
