She likes that it's simple, ordinary people. It's not As her person I like that the bill is siritzy, it's homey like she is. She likes the people who fluff her up and spoil her all day making sure she's safe, well, has eaten, and has taken her meds. mple to understand and straightforward. I like that the Bonaventure folks partner with [removed], and [removed] so there is a whole staff of people who can watch over her health and handle the small things without her having to leave home. And we LOVE that she has this amazing little apartment that feels like a home.

What I like about the community is that the apartment is good sized. Yes I would recommend it. The only problem that I have seen has been the issue of enough staff members and food service. Dinners are sometimes late and the food itself is now always on par.

Have not met many people working there but those said that I have have been nice. My brother is getting Good service. Few of the places a little bit expensive but where aren't they?

Bonaventure was the right fit, location and the level of care required for our family member. Food is ok, but could use a boost in flavor, generally pretty bland. Facilities are maintained well. Management seems to be turmoil, several changes since we've been there.

I like the closet and storage space in the unit. Maintenance is fairly fast in addressing problems. One thing they should improve on is to increase the size of servings of vegetables in the meals! It is often very inadequate.

Bonaventure staff is wonderful. They are very attentive to the changing needs of the residents. In hindsight I wish I had been more focused while reviewing the care plan. It is very important in transitioning.

It is a beautiful facility with a caring and supportive staff. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

Staff performance was a strong 5. I thought the price was way too high unless you had Medicaid. The recommendation for the facility is 5 if you can afford it, but for people in my income bracket it was a 2

Silver Creek provided the best guarantee of assistance for our needs. My husband was at the end of his life, I need assistance with his final weeks. While things weren't perfect (if that exists anywhere), [name removed] and [name removed] made his last 5 weeks as positive as possible.

My mom is on the independent side so I can't speak for the assisted side and to the level of care or responsiveness. My mom is in a 2 bedroom right now and she loves it. It is like an actual apartment. Big kitchen, big pantry, dining area, good size living room and a hallway to bed and bath. Activities are great! In addition to the regular bingo and cards they have a pub that is open to public on Fri-Sun. Usually every weekend they do something on top of weekly activities, sip and paint, farmers market and car show, day at the races, football game activities. A circus/ carnival theme last weekend. The van is great at getting to appts, shopping, and fun activities. Scenic drives, casino trips, and trips to restaurants. Whenever my mom has needed work done, ie: light bulb change, leak..... they've always been quick to fix it. The only negative is maybe the food sometimes. But overall, I think it's ok. But it is expensive.

They were very nice, good food, beautiful facility and my MIL liked it the short time she was there. I gave a 4 because there were times they were a bit disorganized. I would recommend to others. If I lived closer and was in need of assisted living, I would live there.

There are lots of really fun activities for all activity levels. The facility is really well maintained. I think the food is pretty good. They always have a specific meal of the day plus a list of every day options that include a hamburger, a salad, and other standard fair. The food is much better than when he was living at [community removed]. It takes a lot of coordination for changes in medication and care, there can be some hurdles to get paperwork from doctors. I really appreciate Bonaventure's documentation system as I can always get a printout of what time and who gave medication's every day. They also track when showers are given and other caregiver tasks.

The building has a lovely interior courtyard that is entirely enclosed and accessible to residents for fresh air. Staff is excellent. Very responsive and friendly. Food is good, freshly prepared and dining area is comfortable. The beauty shop is a really nice feature on site. The field trips look interesting though my family member is too impaired and hasn't actually participated. Sometimes there are traffic issues getting in and out of West Salem. I like that it is a dedicated memory care building but the population is 40. Capacity is 40 and the building is large so less intimate than some other spaces.

Very frustrating until he got his room settled. Was supposed to be a five day delay that kept getting pushed back. So he was there with no official services as he was concerned a guest staying in a guest room. Communication with office was us constantly calling them to check on his situation. They always had a reason for the delay. Almost pulled him out and move him elsewhere. Now that it's all behind us now my brother is thriving well. He enjoys the food and people there. No more anxieties on the family.

Both my parents live at Bona Venture one in independent one was memory care. The independent care. Food is always served cold, and service very slow. Un memory care. It took a long time to get food to the residence because they use the same kitchen as independent. Sometimes my mom did not get breakfast until eight or 830 and she’d been there since 730.

Nice place but expensive. We also needed a place that was more accessible for taking care of our dogs. They accept pets, but both myself and wife have difficulty walking them. We moved to [community removed] on the basis of having access to a small patio with a fence. The dogs walked through the fence! We'll be at [community removed], based on the same requirements. We're not getting rid of them. This is the third and last move for us. We give the overall experience a four, based on our experience. The staff were nice, the environment mostly comfortable, but we had the apartment located on the second floor, just above the intersection of E. McAndrews and Springbrook. Every day and night, until around 10:30 PM, it sounded like a drag strip, with blaring exhausts and vehicles using the intersection light as a starting light. If we had an apartment on the first floor, on the rear of the building with access outside, I'd have been perfectly happy to stay there.

The food was good. There were plenty of activities and the staff was nice. Don't think it was worth the amount of money we were paying.

High turn over in the dining area-slow service-staffing not good. Staff was very nice & accommodating. Yes I would recommend Bonaventure.

The staff is friendly and takes time to get to know the residents and their family members. They are professional and pay attention to any changes in residents (good or bad) and report to family. Bonaventure has an upbeat energetic vibe. Cheerful and well lit place. Clean and neat. Prompt with any maintenance needed. The only thing is that the food could be more appetizing. I know that this is a common complaint everywhere, but I was hoping Bonaventure could be an exception. Even if one or two meals a week were more restaurant quality would help.
