Bonaventure

There is a very good variety on the menu and the meals are great. Plenty of activities provided for residents. The staff have been great even though they are still suffering on a shortage like everyone else. It is quite expensive but it is worth it because of the quality of care. I think it is a very good place if you have a loved one who needs this type of care. I would highly recommend North Creek.

We are very satisfied with Bonaventure Tri Cities community and the care they are providing for our loved one. We have eaten there a few times and the meals are very good. Covid has impacted a lot of the internal and external activities but we do know they are trying their best with the smaller internal activities to keep the residents engaged and happy.

No complaints about the tour and this community was nice. It made it very hard to make a decision and this community was patient orientated. The location was a little further away and that was what shifted my decision. The staff were all competent and this was a great tour.

We chose Maple Ridge because of the convenient location to family as well as the value for the money. The room sizes at the facility are wonderful, hers is 520 square feet and it is plenty for one person. The space is so well laid out and there is a lot of windows and storage space. She absolutely raves about the food. They have a new chef and when we went to tour he came out to talk to my sister and got her likes and dislikes. They did a really good job matching where she was in her dementia to the other residents. They introduced her to people who were in the same boat that she is in and it has worked out great. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

We thought Bonaventure at Keizer Station was very nice, but also very expensive. They didn't have the meal services all throughout the day either. Again, everything seemed very nice, but they were about 30% more in cost than other places we looked at. And my loved one just didn't want to spend that much.

Thank you to "A Place For Mom" for finding this lovely community for my Mom to reside in. Our Mother was forced to leave Brookdale Arbor Place after her care level became more than they could handle and they were putting her under a great deal of stress. My Mom was on hospice and time was of the essence when I reached out to A Place For Mom. [name removed], executive director of Olympic Place, called me the very next morning and worked with us to get my Mom moved within a few days. We rented a gorgeous one bedroom apartment with cathedral ceilings and large windows. It was clean, bright and a cheerful setting. The staff went out of their way to make our mom feel cared-for, comfortable and important. They treated her with respect and honored her requests. The entire facility is bright and well furnished. The food was wonderful and residents have many options available to them as they can order from a menu each day. Olympic Place has a beautiful dining room with a kind and attentive staff. It seemed the management was always present and addressed any questions or concerns immediately. A world of difference from our experience at Brookdale - all of this and our cost was $1,400 LESS than what we were paying for a small studio apartment before. There are not the words to describe what it meant to our family knowing our Mom was safe, happy and receiving the care she deserved in her final months. Thank you, Olympic Place!

I am responding to [name removed]'s [date removed] review and am providing my own review of Bonaventure of Lacey. [Name removed] was intentionally left off the family contact list and I commend Bonaventure management for referring her to family contacts instead of releasing personal information. I also appreciate the Director’s call immediately after this incident to let me know what had happened and seeking my input. More importantly, I can provide this feedback about Bonaventure of Lacey. My mother and father moved in during the fall of 2019. Mom has early stage Alzheimer’s and Dad had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Bonaventure management took extraordinary steps to accommodate both in assisted living, including when Dad was in hospice care. Staff, and especially the med tech’s, were especially compassionate. Dad passed away in his room at Bonaventure and Mom has since moved out of state to be closer to family. Mom appreciated her stay at Bonaventure especially after Dad’s passing. Based on this positive experience, my mother and father in law moved to Bonaventure two months ago as they were no longer able to stay in their home of 30+ years. Again, management and staff have responded to their needs. Mom is now in memory care and Dad is in assisted living. Staff and management work with Mom, Dad and their caring family to ensure the right care is provided while always preserving their dignity. In summary, I highly recommend Bonaventure of Lacey. My uncle, mother and father in law currently live at Bonaventure. Accommodations are nice, food is healthy and good, the community is friendly, and staff are responsive and truly caring.

I moved my Mother (90) and her sister (80) into North Creek in Oct 2019. They love their unit, especially the balcony and the large kitchen. Because they eat a vegetarian diet, the kitchen great this a perfect to keep them fed. They meals offered in the dining room are geared to meat eaters so it is great that they have a place to prepare meals. I can bring in groceries and prep them up meals that can be quick cooked or microwaved later. Mother is legally blind, but she has found that the lay out of the building makes it very easy for her to access all that she needs. She feels comfortable making her way around for activities and to the common areas. The staff are very friendly and have done all they can to make them feel welcome and to keep their lives comfortable. We are still waiting for a few minor repairs that need taken care of, but we realize that this is a very busy season all round and know things will be finished when life settles down a bit for everyone. Having my mother and aunt near me has been so nice (only 2 miles from where I live) and I love that I and my immediate family are allowed and even encouraged to spend time with the ladies which has helped them to transition to this new home and new state.

The staff are excellent. The facility is very nice and well maintained. The food service is not spectacular and could be more creative. But it is difficult to provide for a large community, i am sure.

It would be unfair to say customer service is bad because oswego place has very good managers that provide more then excellent customer service, But [name removed] the new manager has no Patience, looks mad all the time and hardly ever greets guest or family and to say the least her cell phone is her primary focus. caregivers are sweet and work very hard and the nurse and health director are very attentive and Hands on. Overall oswego is friendly, clean and a great option for your loved one care wise. but the face of the building “the receptionist” needs a complete attitude check.

I took a tour here when trying to find a place to live. When we first walked in, they were very pleasant and friendly. The rooms were very spacious and the cleanliness of the place seemed fine. The person that took us on the tour was very knowledgeable about the facility and what they had to provide. They were also very good about being able to answer our questions. I had no complaints, it was our second choice, but we just wound up not moving in.

My wife and I feel like the sizing of our 2 bedroom here at Bonaventure is perfect for us and we will be able to remain here as our needs change from independent living to assisted living which is great. The staff is very good and we're participating in a lot of the activies that they offer. They do have outside tours every week which we can go on should we want to. We use the dining room for 2 of our meals, and it is quit good. Yes I think I would recommend Bonaventre to my friends and family, their doing a good job.

Since becoming a resident of the community, my mom is doing fine with the new experience here. We picked this community for their amenities. They provided more than the other communities we compared it to.

The Staff that work for Oswego Place in all locations are some of the hardest working and caring individuals I have encountered. One would be so lucky to live in a community with staff like these guys and gals. The food at Oswego Place is flavorful and cooked to order. When I inquired about moving my loved one here, the staff communicated with my Dr. about my specific dietary needs. I know that we are little more difficult and they have been great at educating my loved one at the monthly food forum or even on a one on one basis with the head chef. Activities I cannot say enough great things about how much these ladies run and move throughout the day. They are constantly thinking of new ways to help us have a good time! Including going to different outings and musical entertainment. In fact they even went above and beyond for a beautiful Veteran's wall on Flag Day to honor the entire veteran's living in the community. This place is like a resort or a cruise ship on land! I know that my loved one will no longer be stuck in her home depressed and without friends. She will be active and happy and surrounded by kindred spirits. All places will have problems and unhappy customers but I can tell you if you come here you will also be happy and you will make new friends to last you a lifetime.

Bonaventure is such a happy place. Lovely surroundings, friendly people and so much help in finding my Mom her new home. She is thrilled and I'm thinking about making a reservation for myself for sometime in the future! Mom had a bad fall about 10 days before scheduled move-in and they were absolutely wonderful about helping me with anything I needed to make her new home as warm and comfortable as possible. She loves it!!

We have enjoyed the staff and other residents who are all friendly. The staff are helpful when needed. The community is kept clean at all times. We get 2 meals a day and it is good but not fine dining. I have played cards and we are soon to try exercises. I was lead to believe they would have a minister come weekly but that is not all true.

The first month for my mother here was great. This is a lovely community. The community is very clean and well-kept. The staff here is very kind and helpful to my mother and her needs. The community does offer nice activities for the residents, and my mother loves the food. I would suggest this community for anyone to take a look at.

Great place to just live out your remaining years relaxing.

Unfortunately when my loved ones moved in, the woman who got them in lied to them about a couple of things, so my experience with them was not very good at first with her. She is gone now though, and everyone else on the staff has been really great.

We're very pleased overall with Cedar Ridge! The people here are very friendly and got to know my folks quickly. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they do a great job looking out for the residents.
