Bonaventure

We have been at Riverton for two weeks and are very pleased with our choice. My husband and I had basic responsibility for my mother for two years as my sister had health issues and my brother lived 20 miles away. They both helped as much as they could, but I was "the mean one" who insisted on a move when it was really necessary. She never held it against me, but that is not a comfortable position to be in with a parent. We are having minor health issues and decided to move before they became major issues and are very happy we did. as I can see that several years from now, this would have been a much more difficult action to take. Our four children are scattered across the State and all have jobs and responsibilities that make it hard for them to just pick up to go help Mom and Dad. Our experience with my mother was definitely a factor in our decision as was driving from Walla Walla to Tri-Cities for medical reasons. Walla Walla has no Rheumatologist and my pulmonary doctor moved away. Others had a full patient load. Driving 60 miles in winter conditions is no picnic at any time, but as both of us are in our 80's, and my neck motion is limited for looking behind me, our decision was a "no brainer". We toured three facilities and Riverton won, hands down. Major reasons were that there are hook-ups for washer and dryers, impressive storage space, a balcony and the apartments are roomy , clean , with plenty of light and plugins, telephone, and TV included We had RV'd for 15 years, and public laundry facilities had lost their (?) charms. We have met many new friends here; so many I am having a hard time keeping track of names and faces. Shopping in Kennewick is just a few minutes away. Shopping in Walla Walla was a "Wal Mart" experience or almost nothing. So glad to be here.

This location is great. My father is happy in this community. The grounds and the rooms are very clean. He said that the meals are good and he likes them alot. My father is happy with the fact that they will have activities for him to participate. Dad was a little confused on the facility and where things were, but staff was on top of things when needed. He is being taken care of and and dad seems to like it there alot. t

We are very happy with it so far. She has indicated that she is happy here. She is pleased with the food, and the activities. It was the first place we looked, and when we came for the tour it was late in the evening and I thought we were going to get a very short tour, but they spent a couple of hours with us, and gave us the same time and attention, they would to anyone during regular business hour.

This is truly a wonderful community, everybody here is very kind and friendly. It is a bright and cheerful community. I don't think they could keep the place any cleanlier, they do an amazing job with the cleanliness. The staff is always smiling and very helpful. The residents are kind and friendly. There are many games rooms and a computer room. There is two dining rooms, and the meals are wonderful. They have an on site nurse. I will say it is expensive, but you do get what you pay for.

It's a relatively small community. For the amount of time my mom has been there, I've gotten to know most of the staff, and they know me. There hasn't been any turnover yet. We're still relatively new, but right now, this place is working out!

The community is very nice and up kept. The staff did care for my mom but they could have been a little more helpful like helping her walk around. For the most part my mom was clean but I did notice the staff were not doing their best at picking up after Mom. The food seemed decent and my mom had choices to pick from. My mom felt she was out of place and it did not fit her needs so I would recommend this community if it fits the right person.

Very satisfied with all the services. The staff is very friendly and responsive.

My father is doing fine and we are really pleased with everything that Park Vista has done for us. The community is nice and clean and he has housekeeping for him. We haven't had any bad experiences with the staff they have been good with everything. We are very happy with this community my dad seems happy and doing well here. I would recommend this community for someone to take a look at.

Overall you can't just sit in your room here. There are so many activities going on, and much easier to get transportation to go out at this community. The resident socialize here, they recall one another and are not lonely. Like other smaller places close to Bonaventure that claim a smaller home-like environment is better, a few places very close to this community are just boring!!!! The residents are NOT BORED at Bonaventure. Other home-like places close to Bonaventure do not provide enough activities nor do they provide transportation.

My loved one was not at the Bonaventure of Lacey Senior Living facility for very long, but even so I do not have anything to complain about. It is an average facility and I can not think of any improvements.

They are so personable. It seems like every time something happens, they go out of their way to do the little tiny extra stuff and it is a great help. They have been so exceptional about everything. They are amazing, there is no other around it. I cannot get over how amazing this place is. I am very impressed with them.

We were impressed with this facility. My husband uses a walker and he really liked the extra wide hallways and large common areas. All of the staff we saw took time to greet us and say hello.. We both liked the spacious apartments and the and the bathrooms were designed with safety in mind. It's a definite possibility to be our choice.

If this is Senior Living,sign me up. There is a lot to do here and their active seniors were doing it. If your senior isn't so active there are quiet places also. Plenty of opportunities to mingle or just watch others. The nuts and bolts system of how it works was laid out in a very easy to understand manner. I really liked the extra large windows in the apartments and there was lots of storage and of course a very safety first bathroom. I also got a follow up call to see if I had any others question(which I did) , and I liked that.

It is a very welcoming type community over at Oswego Place Assisted Living. The facility has beautiful grounds that are very well cared for. And it has just been a very pleasant place for my mother to live.

My mother is staying at Silver Creek Retirement and Assisted Living and is doing very well there. They have been very friendly and helpful. Any time there are any issues or just general request, they are quick to jump on it and get it taken care of, whether a big or small issue. They are very nice, friendly, and cordial. We are very well pleased.

We moved our Mother into Oswego Place about three years ago, and she is so happy! She often says, "My cup runith over..." The place is beautiful and my Mother enjoys all of the activities and all of her friends. Mom is on the welcoming committee and she loves to meet people who are touring the place for the first time. She will be the first person to tell people that this is a great place. The staff seemed to turn over a lot there for awhile, and Mom missed some of the employees who had become her friends, but they are definitely back on track again. Go see this place!

The facility is a great atmosphere. The director and staff are always smiling and in a good mood. If my loved one or we needed something that we was concerned with then they would be right their to try and figure something out. It's facility is kept really tidy and clean which is good. The price isnt that expensive.

We had an issue with phone service and they got corrected was frustrating how long it, took a month to get all issues taken care. Meals are good have specials everyday and also have standard menu you can order from if not wanting the specials. They offer alot of activities even though my mother in law cannot particpate.

My husband was a patient at Gibson Creek prior to his death. The care he received was very very good, and the support they gave the family was fantastic. The Staff is cheerful and compassionate and went out of their way to help in any way possible. I highly recommend this facility. E

They were extremely helpful. The situation we had with my mom was kind of an emergency, and they also knew that I was financially strapped at the time as I had just moved from out of state. They actually offered to take on the moving of my mother for me, and they did an outstanding job! It was a good four hour drive away and yet they did a wonderful job, and they have really made mom feel right at home. Becci, the marketing manager, is phenomenal! Very caring and concerned, and she just made the whole thing a very pleasant experience for me.
