Bonaventure

Overall experience has been good. Such a nice staff and seniors. Cleanliness is good. Facility is clean and beautiful. They do need more housekeepers as lately mom has not had good housekeeping due to lack of staff. Fantastic friendly helpful caring staff and caregivers! Just awesome. Quality of care is good. Caregivers are given good training. They don't know how to use gait belts well for lifting. Most staff work so hard to help. Meals and dining is really good. Meals are well prepared and nutritious. Dining rooms are like an expensive restaurant environment. So lovely and inviting. Good experience and staff. Activities are above average and well managed. They even provide excursions in the bus and happy hour and music and crafting activities. Just a great fun experience. Value for cost is reasonable. With all the activities and good dining and wonderful staff Bonaventure is one of the best in Medford no doubt. It's a new facility and beautiful inside and out. Larger rooms than most with patios available. A classier environment than most. We love it here. Only drawback is caregivers leaving after a couple months and we miss them when they leave. But even they say they are treated better here than other places. That the staff and clients care. Just always short on staff everywhere. They go above and beyond to help. The kind of staff you'd want to hire privately. Would be hard to beat all that is offered here. Should be at the top of your list for facilities. Would be a 5 overall if mom got consistent housekeeping and they had more staff for help but I've seen that everywhere. But the place is still clean and beautiful.

The Bonaventure of Lacey Senior Living facility is very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. However, the only big issue is the quality of the meals. She has had family over for meals and we all agree.

We picked this community because of the location, quality and availability. I would recommend, if the the quality of food improves.

Our loved one has no experience with the activities. There are two staff members at Park Vista by Bonaventure seem to stand out. [name removed] and [name removed] do a great job. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Main complaint is that there is limited communication with family about anything specific to mom. Also, showers frequently skipped. But my mom loves her room and the CNA's respond very quickly. My mom wants to stay there. They treat her well, though always rushed

I’d say to the friend it’s a great place, the manger [name removed] is formidable and the staff is very nice. We picked this place specifically because it was one of the only places that accepted my dad in his medical condition and the price was good too.

Our care services were beyond the scope of the facility. The Director may of not realized this, but was very accommodating when the bill was settled. We were prorated and they worked with hospice to arrange the transfer.

With the overall experience, we sometimes do not get responses to questions. For the car services that is unknown, we have not started the care really. For our loved one mom said the meals were good. They got a new chef, but at the moment the meals are not so good. Lots of activities lacking in areas.

Silver Creek was a good placement for my grandmother. I was staying with her as it was a hospice placement and our stay was short. I have mixed reviews about our stay. The kitchen was not accommodating to a restricted diet. Which is unbelievable as they are literally making food for a fragile community. The support staff & medical aids were attentive but the facility seemed to lack in supplies that would be commonly needed by elderly residents. If I had not been staying with my grandmother in her declining state I would have been very concerned. However, if she were in her prior active, cognizant state she probably would have been happy & safe there.

Bonaventure of East Wenatchee is a beautiful community , that provides safety or the residents, and also has caring staff. There is a real sense of community among residents that are living there.

The staff members and residents are very friendly. The Bonaventure of Thornton property and individual apartment is modern, clean; and the amenities are very nice. Overall, the property fees safe and secure.

I love living at this community. I love the people that work at Olympic Place Retirement and Assisted Living. They really care. The food is medium. Everything is clean and tidy. They have lots of activities.

The staff work really hard to meet the need of the residents. We have liked all of the interactions we've had with them. The unfortunate thing is that finding good employees is hard for everyone right now, and so there has been a steady turnover of staff as corporate has moved them around to plug holes. The quality of the food is a continual conversation. My father-in-law isn't a complainer, but the friends he's made are. We recognize it's hard to please everyone, but they could definitely improve. The residents are very friendly, and it is relatively easy to build good relationships. My father-in-law has made many. They have a good variety of activities, and several times a year host families for meals, BBQs and other celebrations at no cost to the family (usually)..

We picked this community, because of the price and how clean it was. There are things they could do better. I would recommend them.

Housekeeping in memory care is not as good as assisted living because the care takers have to do it. Before Dad passed the memory care staff were great and even when he did pass. Now Mom is still in the apt in memory care with some dementia but still pretty independent so I worry sometimes they don't check on her enough and she doesn't like to come out to the commons area. The food was better it is not as good in the last couple of months . Mom eats in her apt so by the time it is delivered it is cold. They do let me eat with her without charging me. There has always been activities in memory care but Mom won't go. She has a key fob and can leave memory care to do other activities but chooses not to. It looks to me like they are better in the main building now them the last manager. Mom pays awful lot of money to be in memory care in her big apt but I am afraid once I move her to assisted living her memory would get worse and I would need to move her back. The caregivers are good to her and I don't have to worry.

My dad says that people are very friendly and helpful at Bonaventure at Keizer Station. He also says that sometimes the maintenance is slow at fixing things, but that he realized the difficulty in finding enough qualified help to do some things. The residents and the administration are so friendly and welcoming when we visit and they plan fun activities for their residents - Mother's Day tea, Father's Day BBQ, Hawaiian luau, car show, and weekly visits to places in the area. Although mom and dad are limited to how many daily activities in which they can participate, the activities sound fun to me and really help foster a community feel. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

We picked this community, because of the people running it, and timing to get in. The experience has been great.

We toured Bonaventure of Lacey Senior Living when searching for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. This facility was very nice. However, they don't allow Medicaid spenddown. That doesn't work for many.

A very nice facility, but there was a slight turnover of management for the short time that we were here. The staff was very caring. I know they were short staffed. I was surprised how much turn over in staff in the short time we were there. Food was cold when it came out. The service was also slow. Variety of meals was nice. It is definitely pricey. It is sad how much these places charge our elderly.

My loved one is currently a resident at Bonaventure of Lacey Senior Living and his experience at this facility has been very good so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff is great. The meals, activities, and quality of care are good! We would recommend this facility to family and friends.
