Our loved one isn't very happy with the meals. Menus sound good but not what he expected. However, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My parents only had a short, one month, stay at Spring Creek. Their healthcare needs weren't really a good match for the services provided there. My dad, especially, didn't have the mobility to have the amount of care provided be sufficient for his needs. I think that the caregivers were doing what they were supposed to do, but my parents needs were greater than "assisted living".

Very supportive environment. People were offering to help when I broke my foot right after moving in. Lots of activities. The people are the best part. The food is inconsistent but the bistro and pub offer options.

The facility is new and clean and staff are friendly people who seem to genuinely care. Mom feels safe and we feel she is safe which is of paramount importance for us. The rooms are not fully occupied which means the facility is not fully staffed and many of the housekeeping and food service employees are new. Service is lacking in those areas. They had turnover in with the Chef and we are not pleased with the quality of the daily specials. Basics, like a cheeseburger, are fine. Overall it is OK but not great - yet. We are hopeful.

Staff is nice but does seem to have a lot of turnover in the lower level positions. Food is inconsistent. Good location and price and facilities are reasonable.

It was so long ago that it is hard to be specific on things, but they respected us and our needs. They were prompt in addressing any issue I had. And he was not there very long.

Overall my Mom is having a good experience - they have a big turn over of staff and seem to be short handed a lot - it hasn't affected my Mom very much other than the food - it's really hit and miss unfortunately- the friend ships my mother has made up for a lot - she is happy

Friendly caring staff. Very helpful to residents. Always smiling. They need more options on the food menu.

Since my mother moved into Bonaventure-North Creek over two months ago, we have found that the facility is a very good fit for her. While she definitely has some cognitive decline with age (almost 89 yo) and some early symptoms of memory loss and dementia, we felt that an assisted living facility with memory care in-house would suit her best at this stage of her life. She has seamlessly made the transition to one of the one bedroom apartments. It was completely refurbished before she moved in with new carpet, paint, appliances & bathroom fixtures. She also seems to be more engaged than her previous facility & is making new friends at mealtime. She says the food is pretty good. We are very pleased so far with our choice to move her into BNC. If you are interested in a facility that has both assisted living facility and memory care, I definitely recommend that you set up a facility tour with Bonaventure-North Creek.

I enjoy it here with lots to do. Transportation they have available is a big plus for Dr appts etc and they go on many fun events. The driver had been here for many years and is super. Management here works for a better run facility and are very nice. The food I’m not crazy about however there are some really good ones . They and Corp want residents input.

We love our apartment and really like our fellow residents. The staff is kind and caring and they always try their best to do a good job and take care of the residents. There are minor problems and challenges, but nothing to get too worked up over. The food is better than expected. Our apartment is large and nicely accommodated our furniture which contributes greatly to making it feel like home. Management was will to allow us to make upgrades (at our expense) to flooring, washer/dryer, and closets.

Do not like the activities person and the activities are not executed well. Just not set up yet. However, based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

Never dreamed we could get my mother in law out of her house and she would move into an assisted living facility. She has always said “I will never go into a nursing home!” She is strong willed and very independent, our other siblings are in shock and are so grateful to us for her move. She is enjoying Bonaventure, and we are not worrying about her safety. ( she is 91)

I like that the staff is very accessible and friendly. The food is generally pretty poor and luckily mom has a kitchen so she can do some of her own cooking. However, we still have to pay full price for all meals. Staff turnover is an issue but where is it no an issue these days.

They have gone through 4 activity coordinators over the past year. Activities are canceled spontaneously with no notice. The food is very slow to be served and mediocre at best. They frequently run out of common items, such as bread. The wait can be as long as an hour to order a meal. Dinner is served at 4:30, which is much too early. Also, I want you to know how impressed we are with "A place for Mom." [name removed] was a huge help and a great support person for us last year

The Sales mgr (at the time) sold me on this place. The amenities down to their friendliness. They came through 90% of their promises. 10% shy because the place wasn’t thoroughly cleaned as promised. As of cleaning, to this day, I think my brother hasn’t been on a regular cleaning .., he moved in 4 months ago. After a month I had to chase down my sales person to remind them of the cleaning service offered. The office personnel keeps changing… and because of that, I feel the residents are getting lost in the shuffle. That’s my opinion…. Wish your company had more choices of homes to choose from.

Staff are friendly and attentive to their residents. Apartments are being remodeled with updated appliances, flooring and paint. There are several daily activities for the residents to participate in if they choose to. The campus is property is very clean and the j on landscaping and buildings are kept nice.

The staff here at Bonaventure have been very kind to me. There are lots of activities. it was challenging to have to move out of my apartment, I don’t regret it at all. They have retirement, assisted-living, and memory care. So if I become ill, I can get the help I need right in my own apartment. I’m enjoying meeting new people. And I try to make others feel at home. My only challenge right now is the food which is not very good. I’m doing most of my own cooking which I like to do anyway.

Staff are friendly and appropriately responsive to medical issue when she fell in the dining room. Overall it is clean and grounds are well kept. The one bedroom in the assisted living side is spacious and provides ample room for visitors to sit with resident. We can come to visit and have a meal (for a few) with her.

The facility and apartments are very nice and updated. The administration are very friendly and respond quickly. So if a person is independent and requires little care, this is a good place. The activities on the calendar do not always happen. The breakdown is information getting to the aids that actually care for the residents and follow to make sure the care is actually happening. We left because my dad needed more care. We felt that he wasn't getting the care we were paying for.
