Bickford Senior Living

I had no where to go. I was in a nursing home for rehab and would have to go back with family which was not working out at all. The rivers made it against all odds to find a place for me. The staff is delightful and so is the food and nursing care. I will never want to be anywhere else except with Jesus.

Our family had an in person tour with Bickford, and they provided a wonderful tour and explanation. One bedroom was a little small. Liked facility was one floor and beautiful center courtyard. Liked hearing the Bickford story and wall of military and police residents

Our family has had a very good experience with Brighton Gardens of Brentwood and would recommend them to other families looking for a community for their loved one. The caregivers were very kind to our mother and she was very comfortable with them.

A place for mom was great to work with! They took the time and answered all questions. We like the halls, rooms and common areas. We picked this community because of the location, and staff. The call response is to be within 4 min. If the call is not answered, it goes to management. We felt that is more accountable than just a call light. We did check reviews for Bickford. That did not have good reviews concerning the call response time, until they implemented new system.

My parents are residents at Bickford of Peoria. The housekeeping is wonderful! They come in once a week, like clockwork, and clean while my parents are at breakfast. The staff is wonderful with taking care of my mother, who needs lots of help. Both nurses,[names removed], are so kind and caring with her. The kitchen staff is fantastic! My Mom just found out that she needs her food pureed and they have been so helpful and kind to her. My father needs a heart valve replaced. His cardiologist told him yesterday that he can only have beef and pork once a week. Once again, the Chef stepped up and will prepare chicken and fish specifically for him. I highly recommend this facility to others!

Our family had an in person tour with Bickford of Chesterfield and the community as well as the tour experience was awesome but the price was just to high.

[name removed] is currently personal nurse to my mother, and she is top-notch. She travels a long extra mile for super assistance and is very knowledgeable in medical, she is caring. [name removed] is the best!

I felt that my loved one got excellent care at this facility. Everyone here was knowledgeable and pleasant. My loved one's laundry was done and his room was clean. He had fallen, but was wearing a monitor that alerted them immediately. They took his vitals and assessed him and called me to let me know that he'd fallen but was not injured. He was able to corroborate their story. My only problem was getting someone to help him communicate with us. He's unable to Video Chat or call independently, so it was kind of a hassle to get someone to help him with that. That's been a problem with every facility that he's gone to. I would highly recommend this facility to friends and family.

We did a virtual and a live tour. Brighton Gardens was nice and cozy and in a good location for Mom, but it was a little dark and "closed in" feeling. The director there was terrific.

Brighton Gardens of Brentwood is awesome, and it has been a good experience so far. The staff members are great and really pay attention for our loved ones needs - because our loved one needs a lot of extra attention. We get to take a look at their calendar and there have about 4 to 5 different activities throughout the day so there is plenty of opportunity to get involved. Based on our experience so far we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

My mom was at Bickford from [date removed]until she passed away in [date removed] The entire staff was fabulous, meal variety was very good, activities were wonderful, rooms were always good. The garden area was a very pleasant place to visit with my mom.

This was a nice community with lots of activities for the residents.. It was too big for my loved one and we felt our loved one might get lost in the hallways and elevators.

5 for every category. I've been very pleased and impressed with Brighton Gardens of Brentwood since I put my wife in this past May. What sticks out about them most is just their friendly ,courteous manner and being very attentive to my wife's needs and keeping me informed.

We worked with this facility for a short time. I'm not local, but will say working with them from long distance- they were amazing and the staff was incredible. I would recommend them to family and friends.

Mother had progressive dementia, she was a handfull for the staff. The staff was very patient with her. Mother made no complaints about the facility. Mom was always a social person, as her disease progressed she stayed in her room a lot. I visited her quite frequently which she always had a story to tell. Dementia is a disease that affects your entire family. You look at your loved one and tell yourself that is not my loved one. I think it's one of the most difficult diseases to accept. The staff at Bickford did a great job.

All 3 of us siblings Love Love Love this place. They have got our dad to participate in the activities, which he has ALWAYS been a loner. Could not say enough good things about Bickford.

I toured Bickford of Bourbonnais and I loved it. Because of my brother's walking and his dementia changing, they would not have been able to keep him. I know people and family members who have lived at Bickford, it's like a 5-star hotel! The staff were very friendly and I could tell that it wasn't a put-on.

I liked the community and staff. It was a friendly environment. This was further than my loved one wanted to be.

Brighton Gardens of Brentwood was great - we had a very positive experience here. They staff would call all the time no matter how big or small the question or concern was- there were some days I even received 2 calls in a day to give me updates. They are very on top of things. I would highly recommend the facility to others.

We chose Bickford of Cedar Falls because it was close by our home and we had taken dad here for respite care in the prior years when we were gone so he was comfortable with it. It is a very nice facility and I would recommend them to anyone looking.
