Benchmark Senior Living

I would rate all as a 5 with the exception of a 4 for Quality of care and a 4 for Administration. I definitely recommend this facility and am grateful to have found it through your organization.

Over all we are very happy with our choice. My mom attends all activities and is kept busy all day. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Everything is very clean. Mom is content. The rooms in memory care vary in size, moms is a smaller one but she doesn't spend much time in it anyway, it's more than adequate.

The facility has a great set up for memory care. With all the resident rooms attached to the large common area, I feel better knowing my mom's room is so close to the common area where all of the aides are. The staff is very attentive and caring. They do a great job of keeping the residents busy and entertained.

The staff, especially the memory care unit staff, treats the residents with a great deal of kindness, compassion, and patience. It's comforting to know that my mother is in such good hands.

What I like the most about The Atrium is the nice setting, friendly and accessible staff and the community is clean. Yes, I would recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

It is a very friendly, caring residence and the residents all get along with each other. The staff knows everyone by name even the family members. They make a point to remember people and guests. They have entertainment weekly (guitar players, singers, piano players, dancers, and memory games). There is always music playing in the common area and the residents love it. They have bus rides twice a week for those who want to go. They take short trips to the beach and other scenic places and stop at DD for refreshments. The residents can walk around the residence if able and go back and forth to their rooms if not interested in the activities. In warm months they sit out back in the patio area for fresh air, entertainment and snacks. I love the place for my mom and she said she's happy there.

They have treated my sister very well only problem is they don't accept Medicaid and my sister money is running out it's too bad the nice places won't accept people when they don't have any money left.

Mom is doing great at Benchmark! They are the absolute best. The facility is clean and comfortable. Just like home. The staff is wonderful, they are so kind.

Overall an excellent experience. Everyone is friendly, helpful and greets you with a smile. Room was clean and just the right size. Food was wonderful and being able to go when you want was great. Unfortunately my dad was only there 2 months before he passed away. They have been very helpful and understanding. They made this tough time a little easier and took wonderful care of him.

have found all staff from front desk, dining room, nurses, maintenance to be extremely courteous The pca's that help my mom and the activities director go above and beyond to ensure her well being.

Everything has been great. She's very happy there. Sometimes on weekends we have to wait long for someone to let us in to the Memory Care unit so if families could get some kind of passcode it would help. The staff is great. The place was recently redecorated and it looks great! They have a lot of activities too so we are happy.

It's an excellent place. What stood out the most is the care and compassion. The room is on the smaller size, it is a shared room.

If suggest an onsite visit to meet the staff. I would recommend Arbors of Bedford.

The place was very nice clean & the staff was great but like most great places extremely expensive.

We have been very happy with them. [name removed] expected initially there is a little tweaking to meds and changing over providers but they helped us through the process. Every person that works there have been exceptional. I would recommend to anyone I know

Village at Mariner’s Point is a wonderful establishment. I Helped move a longtime friend into Mariner’s a few months ago and she is loving it. She is in the Memory Care unit and I have to say the staff takes wonderful care of residents. The activity director [name removed] is wonderful. Everyone I have met when I visit are always helpful. I would highly recommend for your loved ones.

There could be more activities for people in memory care. When it comes to the value for cost I did not do comparative shopping so I cannot say for sure but I'm very happy overall with the care of my mother is receiving at Benchmark in the memory care unit. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.

Generally happy there. Most of the staff is very friendly. Honestly there's one front desk person who is not too welcoming but other than her, everyone else has been very nice. My parents are in their 90's so they don't do too many activities, but seem content there. The location works really well for me and my family.

The only improvement they could make would be just the food. Every one is friendly that serves us. Forgot to mention the shower It is one small step & you have to hold shower head & wash at same time I feel it dangerous to wash head hair & rest of body. Fun place & friendly people to spend your time with rides or just Vegging out

I love that my mother in law has so many activities : painting class, lectures, concerts, exercise. One negative was that when she was sick and ordered oatmeal, they forgot to bring it. They also didn't bring another one that day. No one checked on her. She's happy with her apartment, though. It's spacious with a good view.
