Mom is happy at Benchmark Senior Living community

My family needed urgent help raising the level of health care for a family member who was unable to live alone with rapidly declining health. The disease my family member was afflicted with became very aggressive and we looked for relief of the situation. The staff at Chelmsford Crossings was very supportive, clearly explained their services and demonstrated their commitment to providing high level of support within their community. The empathy displayed towards our needs has had a profound influence on our decision. Once our family member moved in we found comfort in the level of care provided. I would highly recommend considering Chelmsford Crossings as a step to increase the level of care for a loved one...

This community and the tour was amazing. The staff are truly what makes this community. They were great to us and showed us everything around and at this community.

They have excellent care and this community and the staff are excellent also. They have activities like musical activities, playing games, trivia, bingo and more for the residents to do to stay active and busy in the community. All of my interactions with the staff are very good and they are very attentive, they also have a nurse on staff. The tour was great and they gave me all of the information that I needed.

This place is awesome. The staff make you feel like you're part of the family. My loved one doesn't require a lot of care at this point, but they check on him all the time. The facility is really nice - it's like a resort. He's not a huge fan of the food. He says it has flavor but is overcooked.

Everyone is very friendly. The staff keep us informed about our loved one. The place is very clean, and there is no smell. The residents are kept engaged. My loved one admitted that they are very happy here. The staff are very good at answering our questions or concerns about our loved one. Transfers, medication management, and bathing assistance is some of the care the community provides for my loved one. The room, utilities, the level of care your loved one needs, all the meals, laundry, and housekeeping are included in the monthly fee. There is a menu for the resident to choose from. The community is accommodating to the residents, if the resident doesn't want to eat what is being served. The food is fantastic. The family even was able to have an Easter meal with our loved one, and we found the food to be fantastic as well.

This is a nice community and for us it is very close to the hospital that she uses. This is nice because my loved one is able to go back and forth for treatments without family having to take her. I have not interacted much with the staff but the front desk is nice and when we moved my loved one in they were very helpful and everything I have seen has been fine.

I had a good feeling about Benchmark Senior Living during our tour. I really enjoyed speaking with [name removed] and she did a great job showing me around and answering my questions. The room was smaller and I knew my loved one would want more space.

My friend and neighbor with no family needs changes after some health issues. I search for places that would take great care of him while he healed in hopes of returning home. The staff at Chelmsford Crossings were wonderful and always made him feel special. After 8 months ( name removed) was well enough to return home, unfortunately his health deteriorated and his care at home would no longer be able to live on his own one year later. The Chelmsford Crossings welcomed (name removed) back with open arms and soon realized that this was the perfect spot for him to stay. I feel like the entire staff goes above and beyond, the food is top notch, and the facility day to day experience has been a pleasant one both for(name removed)and myself. I highly recommend Chelmsford Crossing to anyone that wants a top notch facility with people that care.

It has been wonderful. I'm very happy with The Branches of Marlboro. The staff show patience, care, concern, and attentiveness toward their residents. They're supportive. I think they've bent over backwards for our family. The facility itself is excellent. And my loved one seems quite happy with the food.

I think this is a great place. My loved one thinks and feels like it is their own home. The staff are very easy to speak with if there are any questions or concerns about my loved one. The dining hall is beautiful and the food always looks good. They have a good chef. There is a menu for the residents to order off of, and there are lunch and dinner specials each day for the residents to see via a display. The apartment, utilities, changing of linens, laundry, and housekeeping are included in the monthly rate.

Benchmark Senior Living was a nice facility but it was smaller and less modern looking. The staff were all very friendly and gave us a great tour and the level of care was there, it was just not the best fit we felt for our loved one.

Whisper Woods of Smithtown is amazing. They are absolutely fantastic. I'm very proud and lucky this is where my loved one calls home. The staff goes above and beyond in everything they do. I've worked in the industry for years and have come across many facilities with poor reputations. I'm so glad we found Whisper Woods, with people who take pride in their work. Every time I'm there, I'm always impressed with how clean it is. My mother loves the food, and she loves the activities they provide. On a daily basis, they offer up to 8 activities. Honestly, I never thought she would participate, but not a day goes by that she doesn't join in the activities. Of all the places I've seen over the years, I can honestly say they are one of the best assisted living facilities I've come across.

It meets the expectations for everything they offer and provide which is good. We have been very impressed with the staff, they have all been very responsive, thoughtful and respectful. The food can be a hit or miss sometimes, but we do think that had to do with the covid lockdowns and then they would have to deliver the meals due to closing off the dining hall. Sometimes it was a little inconsistent but overall the food is generally really good.

my mom loves it here! great staff, lots of activities although during the Covid outbreak it was different due to health and safety cautions. we would just like to see more opportunities for RECYCLING: bins could be provided to separate carboard, paper, plastics, etc. thanks!!

At Chelmsford Crossings we feel known and cared for by the staff at all levels. The staff are extremely present (from directors to aides) and involved and always take our requests seriously. The patience and kindness they show to my parent is quite wonderful and respectful. They really go the extra mile to make things smoother for my parent and my family. We are grateful to have found this wonderful facility.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. I have been satisfied with them. The relationship that I have built with the staff, director, and administrators is wonderful. They have been concerned about my loved one and my wellness. Benchmark is able to assist with medication management, hygiene, bathing, and more for my loved one. They will also make sure to get my loved one to activities to engage them with other residents. The food is really good and my loved one is happy with the soup. There is transportation provided by the community for the residents to use for doctor appointments.

My aunt finally feels happy with her life! Since losing her husband of 64 years she seemed lost and sad even while she was surrounded by our family. Since moving into Leominster Crossings, she has made many friends from her generation and stays physically and mentally active with them, thanks to the wonderful activity director. She also enjoys various 'parties' and celebrations with her friends at Leominster Crossings. A wonderful and recent example is the festive St. Patrick's Day party where the entire staff participated joyfully, and the Director sang some Irish songs with the wonderful Irish band. My aunt notices and appreciates this level of commitment, professionalism, and love,....and so does our family.

My Aunt, who has Dementia moved into Leominster Crossing a little over a year ago. She is a resident iof the Harbor Care Community. I thought that her transition from another Assisted Living Facility was going to be difficult for her, but the staff at Leominster Crossing were so helpful it was easy. The entire staff was so welcoming. Since that day I have enjoyed complete confidence & peace of mind that my Aunt is being very well taken care of. I visit often without prior notice & have many opportunities to observe how the caretakers interact with the residents & I admire their dedication. I can tell that it’s more than just a job for them. My favorite quote is: Kindness is the language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see. The staff in the Memory Care Unit are Caring With Kindness.

This place has saved my life from my husbands death and depression. I needed people and I have found them here. thank you Leominster Crossings!
