Benchmark Senior Living

This is nice place and where my loved one wanted to be. They are currently waving their security deposit, and they are giving this back to my loved one. The activities could be improved and have more for the residents to do.

so far they have kept us informed and they are taking good care of my loved ones. I would check into this community before I would go anywhere else at this point. My loved ones love the food

This was a nice community but I felt like there was another community that was a better fit for my loved one and the other community was more cost efficient.

Good community, this was a great location for family to visit.

I would recommend you check into the community. I felt supported and that my loved ones would be safe here. Some of the activities are bingo, puzzles, movies, documentaries, and more for the residents to choose from.

The staff here is very good. So are the nurses. They're very busy - they're shorthanded now, I understand due to Covid. I just wish there were more staff members so they could answer the phone and respond to my calls. But overall, they've helped my loved one tremendously. I visited 10 facilities in the area, and I'm happy that I chose Whisper Woods.

The care services have been very good from what we can see, but we are a little concerned with the lack of physical activity on the memory care side. We wish they would have more of a stimulating environment. Non skilled nursing community and is expensive.

I thought it was very nice. I'm just disappointed that my loved one didn't get to enjoy it longer! During her short stay there, it was a great atmosphere, and the people were very friendly.

They're very accommodating and flexible. They have good transportation in taking residents to doctor appointments and that type of thing. They're very responsive. When there's any type of issue, they call me immediately. My loved one gives high praises to the food and variety offered. They have plenty of activities if you choose to participate. It seems to be a good value, especially these days with everything going on.

Benchmark is a very nice facility, this was actually our second choice. It is in a great location and they have a stellar kitchen and menu, if you are a foodie this would definitely be the place to go. We have nothing negative to say about this facility, it just came down to a gut feeling we had.

The Branches community is lovely, clean and beautiful and we liked the location best. Due to our loved ones health at the time he was not able to participate in activities but we saw plenty being offered for the residents. It is pricey like all facilities are but for what they provided and the quality of care it was worth it.

I looked into a lot of different facilities and we had a very positive experience with our tour here, it looked like a great place. Unfortunately they were unable to care for my loved ones type of needs.

I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. Some of the things such as intake and billing took longer than expected. Also, the office manager goes between a few different communities.

Our family had an in person tour and it was the smallest community out of the others but it was a very nice facility. It did feel more like a nursing home but a high end nursing home. The staff members were all very lovely.

It depends on the person, but it's a great fit for my cousin. She loves the place. All she does is rave about how sweet and nice the staff are to her. And they help me so much getting her to do certain things. They know just how to handle her and have a great way with her. They're very respectful. She knows her way around - it's not too big of a community, so she doesn't get lost and it it doesn't feel overpowering. It's a great place for somebody who is low-key and laid-back. It has a home-like atmosphere, and we got to bring her own furniture and décor so it feels like home to her. The apartments are beautiful. The food is excellent. They have a lot of activities for the residents, and they encourage them to go. I feel like I'm getting a good value for what they charge. I can't say enough good things about it. Everything has worked out so well. If you're at a loss for a place to go, this is the right place.

So far the difference between where she was and where she is now is like night and day. The Village has far better staff. They keep Mother involved in functions so she doesn't just sit in her room and dwell on hallucinations/delusions. So she is much happier, and it looks like she's healthier as well. Everything that we've needed or asked for they have provided right away. They're proactive as well. If they notice a need and they can address it, they do so. For instance, she needed a clothing item, and somebody went out and got it for her. I would tell anyone 100% yes, this is a good place to go.

It was a great experience all the way around. We looked at a lot of places and we were so pleased with Benchmark Senior Living. It is an assisted living model that can take you to the end of life instead of having to move to a hospital like setting which is why it was so special to us. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Benchmark Senior Living because I got a very comfortable feeling the first time I walked in here, there was just a warmth to the environment. The room sizes are plenty big, especially because they don't want the memory care residents in their rooms a lot so they can be out in the common areas together. I am always thanking the staff an really appreciate all of their efforts. They all seem happy and are always laughing with each other which sets a great tone for the residents. I would absolutely the facility to others looking.

Our sister was able to have an in person tour and she really liked it, it was a top contender and almost our first choice. The value for cost was great for the amount of space offered, but our loved one picked a different facility because she had friends there.

I was unsure of the place at the beginning. But after having my mother there for a couple of months, I was quite impressed with all they do for her. They keep her busy all day. If she wants to be engaged, there are a lot of things for her to do (although she says there's not enough Bingo). But if she doesn't want to do anything, she can go to her room and nap or watch TV or do whatever she wants. And I appreciate how clean they keep things. They clean the place every day.
