My mother was at a different facility and the care there was less than adequate. I moved her to The Arbors and the care has been above and beyond of what she was previously receiving. The entire staff is friendly and keeps you well informed of everything going on with your loved ones.

Excellent in activities as they keep him busy with all sorts of art and music programs, word games, lots of staff led projects. As for value, I chose what turned out to be the most expensive facility, but it's the most convenient for me and family. Hope I can continue to afford it. Staff/resident ratio is very good. Everyone is very well trained. Only problem I can see is that there isn't always a nurse on duty late at night.

I would tell my friend that overall it was excellent. The management was fantastic. The staff, especially the front desk and the dining crew were very friendly and helpful. The meals and dining were good, but repetitive. The activities were not very interesting for people in their early 70s. certainly, if we again needed a short term stay of 2 to 4 months, we would come here again.

Only thing that was a little challenge was phone usage as [name removed] and I lived in another state so being able to communicate with her was difficult. They didn't allow her to have a phone. My cousin is in memory care as well and she's allowed to have one. So that would be the only thing that was a challenge. We could call her and they would get a phone to her but she wasn't able to call us.
