Benchmark Senior Living

It was very difficult when we found out my mother needed to be in a memory care facility. Arbors of Bedford was recommended to us. I called and received a response right away. They were very good at taking the time for us to feel comfortable about this change. They communicated every step along the way. It allowed us to be able to focus on my mother and other things we needed to do for her. I would recommend The Arbors of Bedford if your elderly parent needs a memory care facility.

My mother is a current resident at The Birches at Concord and everything has been great here. There is a very high level of care and communication among the staff. The meals are tasty and tailored to the needs of the residents. The staff is responsive to resident requests for room modifications. I Definitely recommend The Birches at Concord as a Memory Care Facility to others.

The staff provides a clean, warm environment to the residents and the decor is very welcoming. They are attentive to the needs of their residents and families. The activity coordinators are key is having the residents become involved in daily activities which allows them to makes friends and feel they are part of a community. Although it is not home, they are safe, happy and start to feel good about themselves again!

My mother recently moved from her home of 6o years into an apartment at Split Rock. As you would expect, the transition has been a little challenging. I can honestly say that the staff at Split Rock made the move as easy as possible. They completely understand the situation and do everything they can to welcome your loved one. They welcomed my mother to her new home with a beautiful flower arrangement, and the support staff treated her like she has always been there right from the start. My mother has been impressed with how friendly and accommodating everyone has been. She also thinks the food is really good. So far things are going per plan.

The staff in general are really friendly and care about each resident as if they are family. Great programs offered throughout the day along with multiple evening programs offered throughout the week which is very beneficial for most! They go on outings too which is awesome!

We toured with The Atrium at Cardinal Drive and had a great experience. The memory care unit was larger and we felt that our loved one would feel intimidated by the size of the space. That being said, they were excellent and we would have felt comfortable with our loved one here. We were impressed with them but ultimately chose what we thought would fit my loved ones needs best.

My loved one is a resident at Blenheim-Newport. We have experience with one other facility, but everything is better here at this facility. The food, the staff, the access to nurses, communication with the family are all better here. The overall feel of the facility is better. I would recommend this facility to others, outside of initial sales, which was deceptive at times. I would rate the Sales at a 2, but that seems to be the same everywhere. Get everything in writing.

We chose Adelaide of Newton Centre because of the space, I thought it was exactly what he needed, it was open and spacious. He liked to walk and they have a really nice loop that he was able to do within the space which was really nice. The rooms were all private rooms to which is great. I felt I was making medical diagnosis on my loved one. They do have doctors that come in and the nurses that are there are lovely, but you do have to pay attention since it is not a medical facility. They were very helpful with the hospice transition. Overall I would recommend this facility to others looking.

We've had a very positive experience at The Atrium at Cardinal Drive. The people running the place and working there are great and really stand out to me.

An impressive facility run by an extremely well managed organization. Cleanliness is Excellent. Apartments are cleaned weekly, public area daily. Friendliness Exceptional. The staff and health care aides and dining personnel are impressive. Exceptionally good health care aids. Great variety of food and accommodating kitchen personnel. They have lots of activities. My wife participated in some music activities and seemed to enjoy those. It ts expensive, but you get what you pay for.

We are looking for a place for our Mom. She is not ready to move into assisted living but we are getting a feel for what is out there. We had a visit and the staff was lovely. The residents we met seem very happy and well cared for. The facility was charming. Not updated but everything looked clean and well cared for.

The staff is extraordinary at every level. They made a difficult transition as kind and gentle as it could be for my father. Communication with the family is excellent. The meals are good quality, just not as good as home. The place is spotlessly clean. I would wholeheartedly recommend Chestnut Park to family and friends.

My loved one is a resident at The Atrium At Drum Hill. The caregivers are exceptional. The facility is very clean. The food is just okay. Overall, things are great here. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.

My loved one is in the special care unit and does not like the food. For activities it is too soon to rate, Staffing issues caused activities to be lacking. They brought someone in for this -which was an improvement. But he's been out for a while. Not sure what's happening. It is very expensive, but the staff are very kind and upbeat. They treat the residents very well and there's no way to put a price tag on that.

5's across the board, we love it! They provided so many options, and the staff were very attentive, helpful and at no cost. They also provided a lot of resources for us to take advatange of. Based on our experience so far we would absolutely recommend Coachman Square at Woodbridge to other families.

I toured with Benchmark at Billerica Crossing and had a good experience. The reasons we did not choose this facility were because the location was too far, and also because it has a mix of assisted living and memory care residents. We were looking for a facility that focused only on memory care residents for our loved one.

We chose The Atrium at Drum Hill over other places that we looked because of the in-house doctor they have, the cleanliness of the overall facility, and the fact that it is memory care only. I would tell others looking into The Atrium for their loved ones to make sure to get to know the director of nursing. Also, mark your loved ones' laundry so it does not get mixed up or lost. I would absolutely recommend this facility for memory care.

A recent change in their Director which has caused some care staff to leave. I have not met this Director, but the prior one was wonderful during my parents illness and Dad's death. The care staff is wonderful!

It isn’t an easy decision to make when it comes time to look for alternative living and care arrangements for parents, but we made the exact right choice in Whisper Woods of Smithtown. We couldn’t’ have asked for a more wonderfully dedicated, compassionate and amazing community of care givers. I have seen everyone go so above and beyond for the residents; treating our parents, and we children, like family. From the front desk to the medical staff, dining and maintenance crews, support staff and administrators, there isn’t a day that goes by in which someone doesn’t make a significant difference in our and our parents’ lives; be it a cheerful greeting, loving medical care, great food and service, help with daily household needs, fun activities, an entertaining dance or arranging for special circumstances and needs. Our family has grown tremendously because we now consider each and every employee a coveted member. Our thanks to everyone at Whisper Woods!

Plymouth Crossing was a very good assisted living facility with seniors that need more assistance. My mother only lasted two weeks there before she passed. I would recommend to others.
