Belmont Village

Good tour, seemed to be better equipped to care for my loved one.

Our family had an in person tour and the location was just not very convenient for us, and it just did not give us that warm and friendly atmosphere.

It has been a good experience. The food is good. I like that they offer assisted living vs. independent living. Assisted has been a better fit for my loved ones. It is pricey, but you have to pay for what you want.

The tour was adequate. I felt that it was not the best value for the money and it is in a congested area. It was just not the right fit for my brother.

Our tour at Belmont Village Green Hills was fine. It seemed very nice. The layout of building was a little unique, in a good way.

This community was very nice just too expensive. This was a great place wonderful care, just way more than where my loved one is now. Great tour staff were super nice. Top shelf beautiful place.

My mom and dad live together in the same room. She has dementia, and he does not. Because of that, I think he doesn't really get the help that needs with her, and some of her care is falling on him. But my parents do like it there. The activities are wonderful, and they keep the residents busy. The food is delicious. For the most part, my parents are safe and enjoying themselves. But I think the staff could step up a little bit more with my mom's care.

The location of Belmont Village is very convenient for our family, that was one deciding factor. Another deciding factor was that it just had an overall very established homey warm feeling to it. The activities given the circumstances have actually improved and getting better. However assuming like a lot of other communities, Belmont is suffering with staffing issues, but they have been exceptional with getting all of their staff members vaccinated and keeping a close eye on the residents health and safety. Also our loved ones apartment had just been renovated when she moved in and everything looked brand new, from the flooring to the countertops, even the cabinet doors.

We have a lot of positive things to say about this community, when we are around we see the staff interacting with the residents in a positive manner. They establish good relationship with everyone, and it is a pretty good sized facility maybe around 200+ people, and yet they still know who our loved one is, and who I am. However, the community could benefit if they had an orientation for those who have never been through this profess, or something that helps us figure things out, and understand the transition.

The community is very nice and the food is very good. Communication could be better, it hard to know what is going on with your loved one. It can be tough getting ahold of someone to give you updates I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

My husband needs help with his Parkinson's problems, falling, lack of mobility, incontinence, etc. Belmont has lots of nice amenities and I thought I could help and keep my husband company. I tried for 5 months but we needed more room. There are a lot of good things, the PALS (mostly), cleaning services, and entertainment (if you have time or enough care for your loved one) to attend. I think things would be OK if we got a larger apartment so I could take care of our business (which I run from home), unfortunately, 2 people may have varied needs.

The facility had a lot of nice amenities- indoor pool, nice workout room, open dining area. I like the nursing station located on the assisted living floor. It makes easy access for the residents if they have questions or need something. The floor plans are very narrow & small with nice bathrooms & tall ceilings. The movie room was nice, however, it needs to be maintained better (the facility is only 8 years old and some of the chairs were in bad shape. The price point for this facility seems a bit overpriced for what you get. Plus, the deposit is the price of 1 month's room rent.

Very nice, quiet, location with a well kept building. Friendly, fully vaccinated staff that was very open in answering questions. My favorite, but just too expensive.

I would tell others that of all the places I visited and checked out this was the best from cleanliness, activities, and there is a true community here. The food has been good for my loved one, they feel like all they do is eat. The community is responsive when I bring something up about my loved one needing stuff for their room.

The cost is very high, but we really like the staff members and how responsive they are to our family. Our loved one has Alzheimer's which is getting worse and they are very accommodating to his latest needs and are very attentive to him and communicative to our family. It also is just a very very beautiful facility, really nice.

The community is very welcoming and they treat everyone so well. The facility is very beautiful and they always decorate for the seasons. There is a lot to do in the community and there is comfortable seating outside to enjoy. It's a perfect community for anyone who just needs assistance.

We enjoy the grounds it is beautiful there, we can hangout in the back courtyard. It has just been really hard with covid, but they have done a great job and everyone there has been vaccinated. They were very accommodating, our loved one had a hard time adjusting at first but they really helped him out. We would not know what to do without them.

We chose Belmont Village because her other facility was saying they could not handle her care and we were in a huge time crunch and they had availability at the time that we needed it. They have been good with communication, the send out newsletters and emails and they do respond back timely if I ever reach out to them. It is very expensive but I would recommend them to others looking.

Single building, 3 floors. Two “Neighborhood” options, probable for Mom. Neighborhood residents eat in their group-dining rooms are repurposed activity rooms-institutional, not homey like main dining room. Did not like locks on entry door to unit. Fire drill during tour; saw no evacuations-including tour leader or myself. Separate rooms; able to bring furniture. Bath/showers are dated...showers have seat entry but ledge at bottom so no access for chair... small. Glass door ratings not great but are for country-wide... employees were not smiling. Seems well maintained. Good menu, all residents same.

This community is clean, well maintained and everyone is very professional. The rooms are a little on the smaller side, but overall they offer everything a person would need. Our loved one seemed to enjoy the food they serve.
