Belmont Village

The strength of Belmont is its leadership. I learned while searching for a care home, that the family's needs are just as important as the resident's. The family needs to find a place where they feel comfortable and supported too. Don't just focus on what the resident may need, but how the family feels about the place for themselves too. Does it seem like it is somewhere they feel comfortable? Feeling comfortable in the place has a lot about how the staff treats them by being supportive and attentive to their needs and not just there to talk about their amenities and programs. So the searching for the best place includes considering your needs as well as what's best for the resident. The efficiency apartment was roomy enough for a double bed, a 2 seated couch and included was a small kitchen with a sink, microwave and a refrigerator as well as a full bathroom.

The people at Belmont have been kind and accommodating and helpful. Both my son and I have dropped by without appointments, and the staff was able to accommodate us and answer our questions.

A place for Mom was instrumental in us finding Belmont Village. Mom was only there for 2 weeks but the transition from Green Hills Rehab was seamless and everyone we dealt with from administration to the care takers were great. Mom was not a social person and requested she just get meals in her room which I think they accommodated most of the time. We enjoyed going to see her there, way better than the rehab facility. Kudos to all involved!

Beautiful location and it would be a great place to live. However they are a bit expensive in regards to the level of care that my Mom needs. I understand why they charge prices as they do- they have top shelf services but our family will make other arrangements.

I am quite impressed with what I saw at this facility. It is different from any others that I have seen. The facility itself is well-maintained, clean, and spacious. There are numerous activities that are available to the residents. Overall a great place to be!

I liked that it was a bit of a smaller environment. One of the most important services was their Circle of Friends program for those with dementia like my mother. It's made a world of difference in her decline- she has leveled off tremendously

My aunt and her partner have lived at Belmont for almost a year. My aunt is in assisted living and her partner is in memory care. We have had a wonderful experience at Belmont! [Name removed] and her staff are incredibly caring, attentive and responsive. Whenever we have an issue, it is almost always resolved quickly. The activities are engaging and creative, the dining is great and the nursing staff is very attentive and caring. We've been very happy!

Belmont Village Buckhead was a true blessing for our family. Everyone there is so friendly, caring and loving. The staff knows everyone by name as well as family members. They plan many fun activities, have great parties that include family and friends. I honestly can't say enough about this place. It's a great choice for a loved one to live without worry.

I highly recommend especially for dementia patients.. it is a lovely place and everyone seems very qualified n friendly. There are lots of activities and the Merrick park one in a great area...lots of restaurants and shopping....

They are patient, friendly, caring. I feel very comfortable with them looking after my mom. They call me with updates when anything important happens. They work well as a team.

I have lived in 2 assisted living facilities for one year each. Belmont Village was by far the most outstanding of the 2. Except for activities offered to the residents, everything was far superior at [community removed]. The apartments were nicer and more pleasantly accommodating. All apartments had kitchenettes and linen closets in the bathrooms. The staff seemed very happy and took pride in working there. The food was good with more choices than expected. I only left there because of an opportunity to live with my grandson and his family. If I needed that level of care again, I would go back there as my 1st choice.

This is a wonderful facility. They have covered all the bases with care and convenience for its residents.

Lovely facility, inside and out. Very clean, well maintained. Lots and lots of activities and opportunities to socialize, learn, and stay healthy. It's expensive, and they have a yearly increase of 6-7%. They offer 3 meals a day and limitless snacks. The menus look amazing. Not for me, first because of the high price. Second, I don't eat 3 full meals a day, but it's included anyway. Another reason is that the 1-bedroom unit is small; the bedroom only fits a double bed. There's lots of closet space. The kitchenette has the bare basics.
