Belmont Village

The food is excellent, with a full menu to order from as well as daily specials. The dining room staff are delightful, welcoming, and always pleasant. Management is responsive and available whenever there is an issue, question, or concern, and they genuinely listen. The caregivers, CNAs, and other staff are friendly, caring, and quick to laugh and smile. They have helped put my parents at ease and made them feel comfortable and cared for. My parents participate in a special program for older adults with memory issues. The program meets daily and provides meaningful engagement that goes well beyond the typical bingo or exercise class. The physical therapy staff are also wonderful. They are friendly, seek Dad out wherever he is, and do a great job getting him moving and involved. The common areas are bright, clean, and inviting. Activities are scheduled regularly and are varied, giving my parents plenty of opportunities to stay busy and engaged if they choose. Their room is one of the largest available, with two accessible bathrooms, plenty of closet space, a kitchenette, a large sitting room, and a spacious bedroom. Having all of this space has made a big difference in their comfort and quality of life. Most importantly, I feel confident that my parents are in a place where they are genuinely cared for, treated with kindness and respect, and kept safe. That peace of mind means so much to our family.

Everyone I have met there is very caring, seems to know how to treat and manage residents well. So far, I have no concerns or complaints.

I’m so impressed with how caring and cognizant the staff is. Even the periphery employees knew my friend after only a couple of weeks. Management always had time to talk with me. I didn’t have many meals there, but most were very good, a few mediocre. The menu was diverse and sounded wonderful. Most residents I spoke to loved the food. The atmosphere is friendly and helpful. They were creative in meeting the needs of the residents. Activities were stimulating with an emphasis on mental acuity. When I am ready for this stage of my life, I think this will be my choice!

This was an amazing facility, beautifully appointed, and friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, very much out of our price range. I'm glad we toured it though.

The apartment is wonderful perfect size for my dad and his wife. The staff has been amazing! Very helpful and they keep in touch with items I need to get supplied.

It was a little bit confusing, having three different people taking care of me during the intake process. Everyone here, including them has been wonderful. The rooms are nice and clean. The activities are just what I needed to get me out of my room thank you.

My mom has been at Belmont Village San Jose for a little over a year now. She's received excellent care and definitely has taken to the Circle of Friends memory care program they offer. She's made many friends- not only other residents but staff too! Staff knows everyone by name and show an ongoing genuine interest in each resident! As visiting family, we too feel like members of their family! It's just a very caring facility that has made my mom more excited for life despite having dementia issues. It's a great facility. I felt very welcome on the tour. Employees and residents i met were nice and happy. I haven't finished touring other places so I don't know what our choice will be.

Everything was excellent. This place is run like a resort with such kind people/staff. The gourmet food is first rate while being personally waited upon like fine dining. The facility is like brand new as if it just opened, but it's been 7 years. My father wishes he had the funds to live there for a lifetime. He spent only one month for respite care only during my absence. I would rate this as a five star hotel with all the medical and activities and care included. It's a very luxurious assisted living community. Definitely for the well to do.

Everyone is very helpful and most of all, very kind to my mom. She loves the food and is pleased with her apartment size and how it's functionally laid out and decorated. I'm most appreciative to the kindness and care we have received at Belmont Village.

Everyone was kind and courteous. Community appeared clean and well kept. The staff members that I met with had been there for a very long time and seemed to know what they were doing.

It is absolutely great! Staff is very good; the activities are first class; the food is good; there are many choices in apartment sizes.

I had a very good visit at Belmont Village. The rooms and amenities that were shown to me were more than adequate for my brother's needs. And It was the warm and cozy character that was my biggest take-away seeing residents there relaxing and also taking part in activities. My brother is currently at a REHAB. The fact that I did not have information at the time regarding his pressure sore (wound staging) was the only limiting factor in my discussion with the contact person/tour guide. However the hope is that after my brother's wound is healed up, he would be able find a place at Belmont Village for the long term.

We loved everything about Belmont Village, starting with the lovely receptionist who has worked there for more than 20 years. It is a gracious facility and everyone was so friendly. Your was informative and well planned. It was a top choice for us until my mom's health care picture changed.

Belmont village is wonderful very helpful, staff is awesome there. The size of the studio is perfect size for [name removed].

It is a safe, clean environment. Staff tends to patients needs. Keeps caregiver informed. Good food, activities coordinator is inviting, outside fresh air a plus. Monitoring in a group sufficient

The strength of Belmont is its leadership. I learned while searching for a care home, that the family's needs are just as important as the resident's. The family needs to find a place where they feel comfortable and supported too. Don't just focus on what the resident may need, but how the family feels about the place for themselves too. Does it seem like it is somewhere they feel comfortable? Feeling comfortable in the place has a lot about how the staff treats them by being supportive and attentive to their needs and not just there to talk about their amenities and programs. So the searching for the best place includes considering your needs as well as what's best for the resident. The efficiency apartment was roomy enough for a double bed, a 2 seated couch and included was a small kitchen with a sink, microwave and a refrigerator as well as a full bathroom.
