Belmont Village

The facility was always very clean and organized. The dinners I had there were very good. The physical therapist was very good at communicating updates on Mom's progress. I think there were a good number of activities but we would have liked to have some type of Baptist service available either in person or online in Sundays.

We picked them because of the location and options offered. My sister is a resident there. She needed a facility that had a Memory Care Unit.

All of these facilities suffer from a turnover in staff. During our time at this facility, I have seen them transition to a new leadership team. That process was a little bumpy on continuity of services provided. The day to day staff that look after my mother are all very nice.

If you have a meal in the room, even if it's a peanut butter and jelly, they charge for it. He had diabetes, but no diabetes meal was given. Gave him orange juice every day. Overall, it was very expensive if you have no long term insurance. The staff was very nice!

I rated the admin staff low because they have had minimal involvement with me. The staff on my dad's floor which is the total care floor has been good for the most part. Regardless families need to be involved so that their loved one is getting the proper care. I would absolutely not leave their loved one there without the family being their advocate. The facility was recommended to me by a colleague of mine do we did not look at other options. If I did this again I would look at a few more options.

We picked this community because it seemed like the best place for my dad. It is good place to take of a loved one.

The staff are very friendly but at times they could work on communication with families

My mom has gotten used to the community and activities is having a good experience there. They’re rather expensive but they meet our needs well. I’ve referred a few friends there for their parent(s)

I would say that Belmont has done a fantastic job of hiring friendly people. On the other hand, working with their finance office has been challenging. It took quite a while to get our billing straightened out.

My mother is an introvert so she does not participate in many activities but they do offer many. Some more intellectual activities would be nice. Lectures etc. Staff and residents are friendly. Place is spotless. Food is adequate, few vegetarian options. Hairdresser is overpriced. Nice to have PT/podiatrist services within the center. Overall happy with our choice.

My loved one is currently a resident at Belmont Village Green Hills and is doing well, so far. She moved here from a different facility and Belmont has been a better fit for her as they have more hands on care- of course, we pay for it! But they have daily activities for mild dementia residents and she has also been playing bridge there. She has been taken off of her cancer drugs due to the side effects, but doing well so far.

I would say if they have the money to definitely check out the Belmont! Yes I would recommend.

I would say they are expensive, but they provide good care of their residents. They recognize when residents need additional care and keep families updated every step of the way. It is clean and comfortable. The staff, with the occasional exception, is generally nice and helpful.

All things being relative, it's a very nice facility. Staff is outstanding and genuinely caring. We had some issues when my uncle was on the memory care unit. He recovered -- his cognitive issues it turned out were temporary, due to a UTI -- and he was subsequently moved to assisted living floor. After the move there haven't been any problems, apart from the theft of some earbuds months ago. I would recommend Belmont Village.

The staff is awesome. There's an in-house doctor and psychiatrist that take care of medical needs as well as multiple nurses physical therapists and assistance Activities are limited by the space available. The food is under a new head chef and hopefully will improve.

Nursing staff is excellent It is a high end facility. Care staff to resident ratio is great.

I would say it is a very nice community. Smaller setting so you know everyone. Very clean and updated. Not a lot of outdoor or walking space nearby.Other than that the director is fabulous and all of the staff are top notch.

We do recommend Belmont to any who need an assisted living facility. Staff is excellent.

I would recommend with some reservations. Nice enough but they do nickel and dime you to death e.g. if you are not feeling well it costs $10 to have a meal brought to your room.They let me keep my 75 pound English Setter (by the way the residents all love him, staff not so much)
