Belmont Village

IT IS A GREAT PLACE WITH LOTS OF ACTIVITIES AND FRIENDLY FACES!

This was such a wonderful visit! I loved everything about this place. The residents have plenty to do, the building is attractive and clean, the staff is super friendly! The food is especially good. Probably the best we have had anywhere else. I was so impressed that they brought my lunch out with a stainless steel cover to keep it hot. And the server kept checking back with me to see if I was happy with the food! I was also happy that they use butter in their cooking an serve wine to those who want it. Where we are currently does not permit butter or salt in cooking, and they put water in our wine at happy hour.

I am very pleased with Belmont. My husband is happy, not depressed, and is okay with not seeing me every day which allows me to finally catch up on housework and getting my life together. The Programs Coordinator for those with dementia/Alzheimer's really works hard at activities and keeping residents involved. My stress factor is down!

Larger facility with a bit of an institutional feel at some points in the building, but not in the living areas, where the apartments were located. That area was homey and vibrant. Lovely people throughout. There were a couple things that touched me greatly: 1. the receptionist - she cried with a resident when her family left. 2. the hallways were lined with the most beautiful photos of resident veterans. It took my breath away. I was so impressed! Even if you don't have a parent that needs a retirement home, it's worth a visit to see these photos. Large display that is so well-done, it looks like you are walking through a White House display. A must see!

Mom lived here for two weeks and had a wonderful stay. After being home for a few weeks we made the decision that she would move there permanently. She had made two good friends and had enjoyed music entertainment, card games, "field trips" to the Opera Puppet Show, cookout for July 4th and more. Very helpful and caring "pals"who helped with daily living needs, which in Moms case were few. A wonderful place for Mom!

The Pals and nurses are always available to help.I like the fact that I don't have to wash dishes or cook.I used to get cabin fever before I moved here,but now I have lots of reasons to get out and get involved.One of my favorite activities is glass fusing.It helps my arthritis and it is fun.The building is maintained well and feels very welcoming.The staff is very friendly and eager to help us.

We moved my 91 year old Dad to Belmont a couple of weeks ago. My only regret is that we didn't do this much sooner. They have treated him just like one would treat their own family. He's more excited about life than we've seen him in years. He brags about the food every time that we visit, but more importantly about all the new friends that he's meeting. I'd recommend Belmont to anyone. Great place!

My father is very well here at this community. It is a perfect fit for him and his needs. The community is very well maintained, they do a very good job keeping everything nice and clean. They have a very good staff. They have been welcoming, very helpful, and responsive to my concerns. They serve well balanced meals. I know he is safe and good hands. I would recommend this facility.

The Belmont Village Hollywood is exceptional. The staff is respectful in all areas of care. Our loved one has Alzheimer's and even in his worst days the staff has treated him with kindness, affection and respect. With regard for the meals: The food is excellent. It is restaurant style dining and the staff takes your order and serves the food just like a restaurant.The Belmont Village of Hollywood is home.

After considering other options, we chose Belmont Village as our best choice. What struck us as the overwhelming factor was the total ambiance and the friendliness and commitment of the staff. Here we found programming that meets my sister's needs. After our first week, we knew we made the right choice.

I usually never write reviews, but Belmont Village of San Jose is such a wonderful assisted-living facility that I had to write something, My father-in-law moved in there about 6 weeks ago, and we are very happy with our decision to place him there. He gets wonderful care, and the caregivers treat the residents with such respect and concern for their well-being. Peggy [removed] (Community Relations person at Belmont Village of San Jose) was/is so amazingly caring and helpful, she made what could have been a very stressful experience (moving in, etc.) so much easier/smoother for everyone involved!

My mom was only at Belmont Village for 9 days before she passed. They made sure we had plenty of good food brought to the room so we could stay with her. I was so impressed with the staff and how good they were to her and us during this difficult time. The nurses were so good with her and I know my mother would have loved living there. I would recommend this community to friends and family.

We have two family members at The Belmont Village Hollywood. Their every need is being met by a professional staff who care about the residents. It is the best care facility we have found.

Belmont Village, Hunters Creek is a beautiful and clean facility; however, more importantly, the staff is exceptional. My loved one has lived at BV for over a year and has been loved and cared for as a family member. They were recently in the hospital and rehab for an extended period of time. During that time, a representative from BV visited my loved one more than once, at both facilities, and was also an advocate for their care. The staff at BV also answered any question I had in the complicated hospital and rehab process. The Circle of Friends program is amazing and I feel confident that my loved one is receiving the care as a "family" member each day whether I am present, in town or out of town.

I toured a few other places as well, but I liked that Belmont is privately owned and run. I like the way they approach it. They have a good caregiver to patient ratio. They're quick to respond to anything. They're very thoughtful, genuine, sincere, and caring. They've really stepped up to the plate to care for my wife, they're taking good care of her. She's adjusting well and it seems to be working out. They do have a lot of activities, most she can't participate in, but they have customized some for her. She loved the food immediately. I've eaten it too and it is really good.

My mother-in-law moved into Belmont independent living in September 2015, so after six months I would like to share my impressions. She really loves it there and so do we! Every time I walk in the front door I am welcomed and feel like part of the Belmont family. We, her son and I, have been there many times for holiday and family events and I will say they do a great job! Everything is top notch there. The décor is traditional/transitional which I think suits the residents well. Everything is very clean. It is all on one level which I think is very nice and the hallways are very wide and open which I think is important. The whole place feels cozy and airy. The food is beyond good, really. They have plenty of activities and their healthcare workers are called PALS, they look in on the residents and encourage them to participate in things. This is a huge value add in my opinion. Also full time nurses for those who need it. We are not there yet but in the event that we do she will be able to stay in her apartment and transition to assisted living. And later if needed they have memory care. We are really happy with this choice. My compliments to the management and staff! If you are looking for a place I would suggest a visit to Belmont Village at John's Creek.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Belmont Village! It took my loved one a bit to get settled in, but the staff have been very friendly, professional, and accommodating throughout the whole process! It's a nice looking place, and Mom is really enjoying the friendly social atmosphere in the dining room!
