Belmont Village

Belmont Village has been the perfect choice for a couple of my family members. The staff is always courteous, upbeat and attentive to the needs of the residents. As soon as I walk in the door, I am greeted with a smile and a Hello at the front desk when I visit. There are always numerous activities scheduled, the food is always really good and the facility is always clean. I feel that The Belmont Village culture is very warm and everyone there is like family. My family has been extremely happy there. Thank You Belmont Village.

My loved one who is living at Belmont Village is so happy there. That just reassures me of the right choice we made. The staff is excellent and treats you like family. The facility is very clean and hosts an extraordinary amount of activities for the residents. The one on one attention and group events exceed my original expectations. Everyone there has been so courteous and kind. THANK YOU for all that you do.

My Mother has been at Belmont for five weeks. I had to move my mother into a memory care unit from the hospital, so there was not a lot of time to prepare for this major change in our lives. I toured other facilities and choose Belmont Village. [Removed] was truly an Angel he was very supportive and helpful and was the initial reason I chose Belmont. The entire staff at Belmont Village has been amazing. They have not disappointed. They have gone out of their way to assist us in this difficult time. [Removed] the Executive Director has been there every step of the way. Their staff at every level has been wonderful and caring. They truly care about their residents. [Removed] and [Removed] are available by appointment to see the residents at the facility. I decided to utilize this service. These doctors are wonderful they listen to their patients and the families. I have gone to every appointment with Doctor [Removed], I love her she explains everything in a way a layman can understand. [Removed] has seen my mom once and he has also been great and explained everything personally. They are very accessible, which is a very different experience from other doctors we have seen recently. They charge a flat rate so there are no surprises at the end of the month. I would highly recommend Belmont.

Great atmosphere. Feels like a home. Staff very friendly and helpful. Show great concern for the well being of the patients. Great weekly entertainment programs for residents. Would recommend Belmont Village to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

My mother stayed here for two weeks for respite. It was a positive experience. They offered quality care, the community is clean and she enjoyed the meals. They had musicians come in during her stay as well. Overall I would recommend them.

My father has been in this community for almost 2 months and they have been incredible. He has improved healthwise and the staff has been very hands on. He is still a little homesick, but they try their best to make him feel at home.

My 95-yr-old aunt suffers from Alzheimer's but is mobile, using a cane. She was living in a different assisted living facility (NOT Belmont Village) and suddenly was struggling to get up out of a chair and to walk. The staff largely ignored these changes and failed to notify us (her family) of the change in her health status. It became clear that she needed to be moved to a memory care facility. We toured several in the South Bay, Pasadena, Glendora, and West Covina areas and Belmont Village in Rancho Palos Verdes was our top choice for many reasons, such as having an on-site registered nurse 24/7 just for the memory care unit. From the start, the staff were very professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and warm. The facility and amenities are beautiful, well-maintained, and spotless. The training and continuing education of the staff (from community relations to the staff assistants) is extensive and current. The quality of programming is top notch. When we expressed concerns about the cost perhaps being beyond my aunt's budget, Therese contacted us and said they would work with us to make it affordable for my aunt (and they did). My aunt moved in a month ago and thanks to the dedicated BV team, has adjusted very well. Typical of how BV goes above and beyond, my aunt moved in on a Sunday. [Removed], the nurse manager, voluntarily came in on her day off to make sure my aunt's first day at BV went well! [Removed] also texts and sends photos each week keeping us updated on my aunt's health and activities. Unlike at her former facility, she now participates in program activities, allows the staff to help her with tasks such as showering, and is receiving superior medical/nursing care. She is back to walking with a cane for short distances and is scheduled to begin physical therapy to strengthen her legs (and BV has a great gym/PT room).

I liked this community as well but it was not as close as another that we liked. It is a suitable community and we got an excellent tour. It is very nice but far, the traffic would have been horrible if we had picked this community.

We visited Bellmont Village along with several other facilities about a year before my mother actually needed to move in order to acquaint ourselves with facilities in our area and the 'next chapter in life' process. There was no pressure on the first nor 2 subsequent visits, our questions were answered kindly and completely and the follow up phone calls by Bellmont Village were courteous not solicitations. There were two occasions I thought my mother was ready to move but she changed her mind.[Removed] was gracious both times stating they were there for us when the time was right. When my mother made her final decision to move [Removed] took us on our third tour of the facility as though it was our first. The application and move in process were seamless; my fears never materialized. Upon moving in we were met with offers of help around every corner. The staff sprung to open doors, clear paths and literally lighten our arm loads. They introduced themselves and said, 'Welcome' for days. A special effort was made for my mother to be surrounded with meal time and social companions. It was an outpouring of friendship on every level. This is my third experience with moving a loved one to independent or assisted living. How I wish I had know of Bellmont Village with the other two. I have seen a dramatic change in my mother's personality, appetite and activity level as she has been treated with kindness and dignity. She says she is looking forward to the next chapter in her life at Bellmont Village!

My mother has been living at Belmont Village for over a year now. The care and support we have received has been exceptional. I can't say enough about the staff, nurses and administration. Any time there has been a change in my mothers behavior, we have been guided in the right direction. The building is very clean and the food is very good. The Pals treat the residents with respect and know how to meet the needs of each resident individually. Our lives have all changed as my mom's memory has declined but I have to say, I sleep better now knowing that she is safe!

This was not a good fit for my loved one's needs. She wanted an apartment large enough to fit her furniture. The staff that showed us the community did a very good job and was knowledgeable of the community.

Wonderful place. Expert, seasoned staff who know what they're doing. Exceptional Circle of Friends program enhances daily life. There is nothing in Memphis that compares to their experience and caring.

The Belmont staff has made the transition to assisted living so much easier for our family than we thought it would be. We were looking for good food, an attentive and well trained staff and an upscale facility with well appointed apartments, including handicap showers. Belmont has met all our expectations. Our parents and uncle are happy there and we enjoy visiting.

[Removed] was very helpful in explaining all the levels of care and what is available at Belmont Village. She offered help in understanding what my mother's long term care insurance would cover. It is a bit more expensive that I anticipated but they offer the kind of care I think my mom needs. I want to check our several more facilities before I make a final decision but I am keeping Belmont on my list of considerations.

The residence and grounds were great. I was impressed with the rooms. The staff were professional and pleasant.

Something that impressed me was the food. It sometimes would take 10-15 minutes to answer a call button like most places, so the response time maybe not quite as impressive. We really like the people and the atmosphere. They keep it clean and the people are friendly.

Beautiful property!. Bit pricey and not a good fit for my uncle but would be worth it if someone likes to go down to meals and participate in activities. Also if they did not need the additional services that can run up to $1900/month.

Really welcoming staff and warm environment. Got a glimpse of many residents gathering for a Veteran's Day presentation as well as saw a circle gathered for pre-lunch discussion. Very favorably impressed with what I saw and how people interacted with one another.

We are very pleased with this community. They staff has been great for mom. They also have a adequate number of staff for the residents so that they do not have to be running around in a bunch of different areas. They have plenty activities to keep mom active.

I like the care that my mom was getting here. When she was here she did like the activities. She enjoyed the meals that wer services. They offered her activities to participate in. The community is well taken care of and clean. I really liked that they offered my mom great attention at all times. I would be happy to recommend other families to this community for the great care and value received here.
