Belmont Village

My husband is here currently and it’s going okay. It’s been a tough transition but the staff has been very good with their interaction with him and anytime I have a question for them or the management, they’ve had answers. The food is very good. They have a menu that the residents can order off of. They have a few activities including memory care which involves exercise and they have a lot of interaction with him. Everywhere in the building, including his room, is kept pretty clean. The other residents get along with him really well and he helps them out whenever he can. I would recommend them.

This place is comparable to a country club. The service, the food, it’s all phenomenal. I actually look forward to eating there whenever I visit. The staff does everything right it seems. They put on some unbelievable and fantastic shows and events and really go all out. Even the cleanliness is pristine. Everything about this place is professional and everyone is just amazing. It’s not institutional at all. It’s almost like going to a country club for lunch and then staying overnight at the Ritz Carlton. I would absolutely recommend them. $15,000

I toured here when trying to help my sister find a place for my brother-in-law and, from what I saw, I really liked it a lot. It was the first place I was able to tour and the facility is about 3 or 4 stories high. It seems to be more situated into an older community as well. Everyone I spoke with while I was there was helpful to my husband and I. They even told us about Veteran’s administration help and my brother-in-law is a Vet so that was very helpful. My sister is now getting help for her husband because of the woman that took the time to give us that information. The facility does a lot of things for the community and will even email my family about coming to different lectures or events that are taking place at the facility. They’re very civic minded and like to involve the community as much as they can.

When I was started to look at facilities for my dad, I spoke with [Removed] at A Place for Mom and he was wonderful. I saw him more like a counselor rather than a salesperson. He sent me a few places to tour and one of them was Belmont. This facility was more than I expected. It is a lot more expensive than other places but it was worth it. The staff answered every single question I had. They were very personable and went about and beyond for my dad. The facility itself is brand new, immaculate, and I was comfortable here. IT was more like a high-end hotel or a brand new cruise ship. My dad needed something to where he felt like he was on vacation, and this was it. I highly recommend this community.

It was very nice, but too much money. The people were very nice, but I'm not sure it was the right place for my Mom. I would recommend you take the tour.

We like the caring staff who are always helpful. The community is clean and she seems to like the menu of the meals. They offer the residents to participate in nice activities. We would recommend this community to other families wanting good care for a good value for a loved one.

I don't think that my mother is self sufficient enough for this facility. She requires too much care,she is really bed bound.

I brought my Mother to Belmont Village in Encino. After living at a Senior facility independently in Northridge for over 5 yrs, her cognitive functions declined rapidly. After hiring aides 24hrs a day, I moved her into the Assisted Living in the same complex, and her mental health declined further. Their AL was negligent. I had to move my Mom again not a month later. I looked at several homes before landing at the Belmont. If your loved one starts to decline cognitively, there is NOWHERE better than the Belmont. They have 5 levels of programming, depending on where they are on the cognitive continuum. Circle of Friends is a 7 day a week, from 9:00[removed] series of interactive activities all designed to increase cognition. Within just 4 days of arriving, I saw a MAJOR change in my Mom for the better! She began exercise everyday after giving it up entirely for 3 years. The staff (lead by the outstanding Executive Director Cynthia, to the head of Assisted Living, Elizabeth, to every aide, dining staff and the Circle of Friends) all work very hard to engage my Mom. They have played match maker for my Mom, who knew no one when she arrived! In the month she has now been there, she went from spending everyday of the week in front of the TV alone (with the exception of Bingo 2x a week for her only mental stimulation), having trouble finding words, and looking deshovelled at her old place, to being a vibrant 88 yr old excited about life again! I can't recommend them enough!!!

I an very pleased with the staff here. They do what they can to take great care of my loved one. She also gets many chances to participate in activities, and she's even in an activity group called "Circle of Friends", which helps dementia patients to adjust. We are very satisfied!

Very pleased with care Mom is receiving. Impressed with amount of staff available for assistance. Food is top notch but standard selections are unchanged which makes me wonder if the very long term residents are a little tired of it. Only one daily special is new. Would recommend

The Belmont Village Thousand Oaks was a lovely tour. It is a beautiful community. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. My friend had some concerns regarding the memory care security. Not the right fit.

The staff have been wonderful at this community. The food is good and they do offer outings to restaurants for lunch. They have daily activities and the community is very clean. The community has large windows and is bright and airy. I would recommend this community.

After having a tour this community became my second choice. However after some consideration and seeing other communities, it is far for me and it would be difficult for me. I would be dealing with traffic.

This was a wonderful facility when I toured! It was a bit on the expensive side, and we didn't feel like my loved one would really fit in with the other residents, but we did like the facility itself.

mother,[Removed] Day, became a resident at BV in Feb 2016 and passed away there on June 18. We celebrated her 100th birthday on March 14 and we brought in hospice on April 27. Bottom line, my family and I couldn't be more pleased with every aspect of our BV experience. At our initial meeting with [Removed] , we got a very good impression of the place and the people. We saw the teamwork of the PALS and sensed the family atmosphere which we personally experienced throughout our time there. My mother was initially in the Circle of Friends and the program was very well run by [Removed] and her assistants. A PAL named [Removed] connected very well with my mother. At the beginning of this year we moved my mother to the "Neighborhood" where she continued to receive excellent care and attention from the PALS and nursing staff. [Removed] and [Removed] were always available and responsive to all our needs and were personally very supportive to me and my family. I always felt like we were all on the same team. A PAL named [Removed] became very attached to my mother and gave her excellent care. [Removed] the maintenance manager deserves special recognition for all the work he does and the positive attitude he maintains. [Removed] should obviously be recognized for setting the tone ,expectations, and empowering the others to do their jobs. This being such a people intensive business with staff,residents, and families I know that there are bound to be issues. All I can say is that we had an excellent experience and highly recommend BV-Memphis.

I toured this community for care for my wife. I like the nice staff. The community was very nice. The community was clean. This was a community that was close to home, We would recommend this community for all the great services that are offered to loved ones.

Liked it a lot. Very clean. Renovated rooms. Great "restaurant" living. Activities higher level- yoga. book club. art classes.

Having visited senior living facilities over the year. Belmont Village stands out as an amazing community. Its starts the moment you walk in the front door, you are greeted friendly and warm. The staff are very attentive to their residents, you can see the residents are well taken care of. Comments from your residents show how comfortable they feel liking there. The events calendar, from the activity programs to daily interaction, show there to be an abundance of interest to take part in. I will certainly recommend Belmont Village of Buffalo Grove.

I am happy with the care that is received here. The staff is kind and very attentive to his needs. We like that the community is clean and maintained. He seems to like the menu and the variety. They offer him to particiapte in the activities that are offered and we have found that to be good for him to participate from time to time. We would recommend the care and value of this community for a loved one for care
