Belmont Village

Our experience has been a very positive one. We have lived here since they opened in 2017. The services that come included with the cost of the apartment make it very comfortable for our budget, and there's many interesting activities every day and to people befriend. The food is my husband's favorite part of living here. Fortunately they have a staffed fitness center and several exercise classes. We are independent but we feel safe knowing the nurses center is always staffed as my husband needs a little reassurance with his condition. It was hard to leave home but now this is home.

The proximity to our house is perfect - 9 minutes away. Nice facility. Cost is ok. Would prefer a bit lower, but very clean, many nurses, staff has been there a long time. Nurses on every floor, everything is included except phone and salon services. no personal balconies. Would probably need a one bedroom instead of a studio. Studio's very small. Would want all vinyl floors. some had carpet. some are dark, not enough light. Easier to change units once in, residents get first priority to change. Lots of activities, will shuttle to dr. appt. within 10 miles. (Tues. and Thurs.'s) Some road noise. Inside is quiet. Independent living has w/d, but could have w/d service for $125 mth. Included in Assisted living. There is a community fee equal to one months rent. Partially refunded if move within 90 days. Very good memory facility.Special diets accommodated. Nurse on every floor. Maintenance of interior included.

Thus far, we've been pleased with my family's selection of Belmont Village Hunters Creek. Our Mom has been here a little over 1 month now. Our selection of this facility was based on what we felt Mom needed currently. She'd just finished rehab of a broken hip replacement and she needed a little more than just assisted living but she was not at the full memory care need yet. Belmont Village Hunters Creek offers a level of care more than assisted care but less than memory care. Recommend looking at this place if you're in the same boat.

My Mom has been at Belmont several years and has been in memory care the last 4-5 years. In all of the times I have been there to visit her, I have never seen the staff be anything but caring and nurturing to all of the residents there. My Mom can be very difficult to deal with so that says a lot. She has never said anything negative about any staff member and that says a lot as well. She is always telling me how good the food is there as well. The only thing to consider before choosing Belmont -- they do not have low income beds. So in another few years if her money runs out, we will be forced to place her in another facility in the area.

Wonderful facility!! Liked that they don’t use processed food. They also have a physical therapy room. Very clean. Privately owned. Great staff.

Amazing facility and great staff. Clean, well structured programs and numerous amenities to deflect from that "senior living" feel. Am revisiting with husband on Saturday.

We have tried those other premium care facilities. Belmont Village is superior in every way. My mother is finally going to activities daily and using her mind with individuals her own age. Wonderful place. Wish my sister was still there. They offered so much and the food was divine. Everyone was so friendly. One of the best in Shelby County.

My [Name removed] was there three months. He was 92 yrs old and all who cared for [Name removed] treated him as if he was their dad, grandpa or husband. They could not have been more attentive or loving. I am so grateful he was there. I felt at home also. I was kept informed about his care and felt welcomed at all times. The Place For Mom advisor helped me find, look at ratings, costs, programs of facilities near me and develop a list of questions to ask on my visits. After talking on phone to several assisted living facilities specifically with dementia-care programs, and touring several, it came down to a gut feeling of where I could envision my mum happy on a daily basis and that was Belmont Village, Glenview. It has a great open floor plan with many common areas and an open approach to enabling residents with appropriate oversight/supervision to remain active in their own self care, stimulating programs in groups that socialize based on latest dementia care research recommendations and on-site physical rehab and exercise programs, onsite nurses, meds administration, doctor visits, a simple-to-understand 3-level of care pricing model and compassionate, friendly, well-trained staff, an open door visitor policy, and family-focused events, celebrations, and activities for enjoyable visits. Not all residents need dementia care and those who do are evaluated on an ongoing basis for which level of care is needed at the appropriate time. My mum’s living quarters were accessible and resembled her condo on a mini-level and the grounds and outings provided are all lovely. The staff was very helpful with transitioning my mum in and the mive went smoothly. And the onsite PT/OT program enabled her to return directly from a hospital visit instead of going to a rehabilitation facility.

My parents have been at Belmont Village for over 6 years and have received outstanding services and support from the staff and care givers. [Name removed] the Director is an outstanding leader and has run the village in an outstanding way. We could not me happier with the love and care our parents have received.

This was my favorite but not in my godmother’s budget. I’d live here myself. It’s wonderful for extended life stays for elders.

My parents have lived at Belmont Village for the past three years. The environment is so nice and the staff is amazing. My parents always comment on how well they are taken care of.

I'm not entirely sure how I would have learned to cope with the failing health of my family member without the help from the excellent staff of Belmont Village in San Jose. Most especially Director [Name removed] and his calm presence and guidance. He is the best! Always makes time for me and my many questions.

I can imagine myself and husband here. This is a beautiful location with well appointed features. The staff is friendly, the room is more of a studio which is a nice touch.

From the moment we walked in, we felt the wrmth and friendlness. Staff and esidnets smile, seem happy and content. Th facility is clean and easy to get around. Everyone is helpful! We couldn't be more pleased.
