Belmont Village

Amazing facility and great staff. Clean, well structured programs and numerous amenities to deflect from that "senior living" feel. Am revisiting with husband on Saturday.

Wonderful place. Wish my sister was still there. They offered so much and the food was divine. Everyone was so friendly. One of the best in Shelby County.

My [Name removed] was there three months. He was 92 yrs old and all who cared for [Name removed] treated him as if he was their dad, grandpa or husband. The Place For Mom advisor helped me find, look at ratings, costs, programs of facilities near me and develop a list of questions to ask on my visits. After talking on phone to several assisted living facilities specifically with dementia-care programs, and touring several, it came down to a gut feeling of where I could envision my mum happy on a daily basis and that was Belmont Village, Glenview. It has a great open floor plan with many common areas and an open approach to enabling residents with appropriate oversight/supervision to remain active in their own self care, stimulating programs in groups that socialize based on latest dementia care research recommendations and on-site physical rehab and exercise programs, onsite nurses, meds administration, doctor visits, a simple-to-understand 3-level of care pricing model and compassionate, friendly, well-trained staff, an open door visitor policy, and family-focused events, celebrations, and activities for enjoyable visits. Not all residents need dementia care and those who do are evaluated on an ongoing basis for which level of care is needed at the appropriate time. My mum’s living quarters were accessible and resembled her condo on a mini-level and the grounds and outings provided are all lovely. The staff was very helpful with transitioning my mum in and the mive went smoothly. And the onsite PT/OT program enabled her to return directly from a hospital visit instead of going to a rehabilitation facility.

My parents have been at Belmont Village for over 6 years and have received outstanding services and support from the staff and care givers. [Name removed] the Director is an outstanding leader and has run the village in an outstanding way. We could not me happier with the love and care our parents have received.

This was my favorite but not in my godmother’s budget. I’d live here myself. It’s wonderful for extended life stays for elders.

My parents have lived at Belmont Village for the past three years. The environment is so nice and the staff is amazing. My parents always comment on how well they are taken care of.

I'm not entirely sure how I would have learned to cope with the failing health of my family member without the help from the excellent staff of Belmont Village in San Jose. Most especially Director [Name removed] and his calm presence and guidance. He is the best! Always makes time for me and my many questions.

I can imagine myself and husband here. This is a beautiful location with well appointed features. The staff is friendly, the room is more of a studio which is a nice touch.

I have been extremely satisfied with our experience at Hunters Creek over the last 2 1/2 years. The management and staff have shown exceptional care and concern for both of my parents and have worked with me to partner in their care. [Name removed] and [Name removed] provided excellent programming for my mother and others in the neighborhood, always with a smile, and have texted me pictures of both of my parents which always makes me feel good since I don't live in town. their passion for what they do and their genuine love of the residents is infections and so heart-warming. The pals in both the neighborhood and assisted living where my father has lived since March 2017 have also been very caring and worked closely with me to provide for my parents needs and have been my eyes and ears for any concerns. The nursing staff has generally been very attentive, particularly to my mother, and, when my father has needed attention, he's been checked, even though not on medication management. [Name removed] has been outstanding in her attentiveness and responsiveness to our issues and shows tremendous care and love for the residents. When my mother was sent to the hospital her last week of live and then returned to hospice at Belmont, [Name removed] was right there with me to coordinate the process and to handle all of the arrangements. And, though she told me she wasn't available to attend my mother's funeral, when I saw her there, it meant the world to me that she cared that much about my family and me to be there, and I will always remember her kindness. I truly believe that Belmont has created a wonderful environment in which both of my parents have been able to thrive, which has provided tremendous comfort and peace of mind.

The staff is terrific. They are a bunch of hard workers. They make our tenure here more pleasant.

Toured this lovely facility with [name removed]. Top quality, top prices, however I love it, bottom to top. Other family members will tour in the next few days.

My experience has been excellent. I've been here 1 year and 3 months. Everybody has been very cooperative and helpful. I've recommended a couple of people come in and I'll keep on doing that... The permanent menu is very good. The chef for the fish comes from Veracruz and he knows what he's doing. The desserts are super. They're too good! The entertainment is good - Aubrey does a good job of setting up the happy hour. They don't discriminate, they like everybody.

Everyone is very helpful. Foods good. Plenty of activities. I really like being able to have transportation.

Very efficient and caring staff. Always a smile and a quick response to your loved ones needs and requests. I highly recommend this facility.
