Belmont Village

Our experience with Belmont Village, and especially the director of community relations, has been extraordinary from first inquiry until move in. This is rarely a straight line as moving your elderly parent takes a lot of planning and consideration, especially in the time of covid19. They exceeded every expectation and over-delivered on every promise. The staff are professional, caring, thoughtful, kind, attentive, knowledgeable and all with a very personal touch. We got to know them through personalized videos, long before my mom arrived and given the significant complications of moving during a pandemic when her four children were spread all over the country, Belmont Village stepped in and took care of every detail. She was greeted with flowers, a ‘welcome home sign’ and their therapy dog, which for an animal lover was an immediate comfort. The building, apartments and common spaces are just beautiful, but the staff is over-the-top fantastic!

Our very independent but stubborn dad needed to rehab from a recent hospital stay (too many stairs at the house) and The Belmont is in our neighborhood so it was an easy decision. We've all found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and dedicated to the residents and their wellbeing. Dad says the food is fantastic and his conversations with staff and residents have been interesting and stimulating. The staff take the virus very seriously and have established dedicated practices to make sure everyone stays safe. Dad gets healthy food, great socialization, physical therapy and check-ins from the nursing staff - they've made him feel quite at home.

We have had an amazing experience at Belmont Village. The food is wonderful, They have 2 set choices per meal and if you do not like what they are serving you are able to order anything else that you want and they will make it. I would absolutely recommend.

We have been thoroughly pleased, our family and our loved one love it there. We needed a facility to not only test our loved ones insulin levels three times a day, but also to administer the shot, they do that there 24/7. They are certified for their diabetic meals, and every month they email us the results of her insulin tests and blood work. They are very hands on. They recently remodeled the downstairs kitchen area, and it is immaculate. Prior to COVID they have movie nights, singers, workout classes, yoga and bingo. They have a bus that would also take them to different shopping places and ever hiking. Our loved one has a small apartment with a kitchenette. It is expensive, but it is in a great location. The location would be a five out of five, it is not cheap, but with everything they have to offer we feel that we are getting our moneys worth.

I have to say that the facility and quality of care is 5 star. My dad is a resident there and he gets all the help and attention he needs. Overall, it gives my family and I such peace of mind. We couldn't be happier.

Staff could not be nicer. They are always pleasant and helpful. [names removed] are the best, a true asset to this lovely community. Mom loves the food, never complains about this. Mom would love for there to be more bridge players as this is her passion so anything you can do to introduce mom to new bridge players would be greatly appreciated.

The memory center takes great care of my wife. The personnel are friendly and nonaggressive, and she has adapted well to them. The ladies have made friends with her and she has fun with them. [name removed] (PT) is a true angel. He has excellent knowledge in providing care. Yoga classes, pool exercises have been great. We enjoy the food.

My mother recently moved in and each day she gets more involved. Had a rough start with the 7-day "lock-in" but seems to be over that. Everyone has been very friendly and welcoming. A perfect place for her!

We chose Belmont Village because I knew that my mother would end up needing memory care and this facility provided that. Also, all of the activities that they had to offer for residents and she is a very active person so this was important for us. The facility also has pool on site but we have not been able to take advantage of that. I would tell others that this facility is fairly new so they have a whole top floor which is vacant right now. It has been nice especially for residents who are very ill because you do not have to take them out of the facility. Overall, I would recommend the community.

My Dad has been a resident of Belmont West Lake Hills since [date removed]. I had visited several assisted living facilities and knew from the first visit this would be a top contender. Upon a follow up visit with my parents, they both felt this was the best place for my Dad. While the pandemic has made visiting him a challenge, the Belmont staff have been amazing on texting pictures, providing FaceTime opportunities, and always readily available to answer my questions. Recently, I was able to visit him with proper COVID safety protocols. After catching up on many things, he commented that he thought this was a "warehouse where people go to die", instead he said he really likes it and truly enjoys the activities. This made my heart sing. Thank you to the Belmont West Lake Hills staff for their endless energy and care.

We so deeply appreciate Belmont's constant updates on COVID and the activities taking place. We are comforted by the care and thoughtfulness by the staff to my husband. Recently, we visited off site from Belmont and after a few enjoyable hours with him, he was more than ready to return to Belmont. This says a great deal to me as I believe he has become accustomed to a new living environment. This from a man who said he would never leave his home on a permanent basis. Home is where the heart is...as he now feels assured of instant help when needed at Belmont. Giving him peace of mind and a great comfort to me.

There were activities that were tailor-made for the residence. Out of all the facilities I looked at I would put them at the top. the room sizes vary but Mom's room fits her well. The food is was also very good.

My mother has been at Belmont village for almost 4 years. It has been nothing but a positive experience. The facility is beautiful and always clean. The care she gets is exceptional. Each staff member treats her with kindness and dignity. I sleep well knowing she is in such good hands. Each time I visit my mother there is a smile on her face. She enjoys the activities. The entertainment stimulates her and is so enjoyable. She loves the bus rides. She even loves the food. Our family has also participated in the holiday events and other social gatherings and have felt so welcomed. Thank you so much Belmont village!!!
